    4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? Planning ahead of time. Mental aspect has been incredibly difficult for me.

    5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? Journaling, drinking lots of water

    6. What is your short term goal? To be at Onderland by my 39th bday on Sept. 2nd

    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? New iPod or perhaps some clothes

    I am a married mom of 3 ages 15,13 & 11. I work part-time and volunteer lots at all 3 schools my kids are at. I love to read, listen to music and watch tv-guilty pleasure being anything reality . I am looking forward to losing this weight for the very last time!

    Currently I'm on WW, but that may be changing depending on what I learn in Bob's new book

    3. What is your favorite way to exercise?
    I'm going to attempt the proven 13-week run/walk program again, but my favorite exercise is of course HULA HOOPING!!!

    4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? making healthy choices with food

    5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at?
    Lately the best thing I'm at is support!

    6. What is your short term goal? 10 lbs!

    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? Flower boxes for my porch!

    10. Tell us a little about yourself! Well, I'm a mom of 2 girls, married for almost 16 years and we all live in Montana. In a few short weeks I graduate with a bachelors degree in Accounting and Psychology. Then its off the the real world of getting a job. I'm the PTA president for my youngest daughters school and the secretary at the oldest ones. So I'm busy busy! Growing up I was just a skinny thing, but thought if I could lose 5 lbs I'd be perfect and I ended up dieting my way to 250 lbs! Of course life played a big role in all of that too! The rest I'm sure you'll get to know as we go along this amazing 15 week journey!

    I will turn 42 during the challenge!
    Married for 20 years to my high school sweetheart, 2 sons. College and high school. I work full time, usually at least 50 hours a week.

    2. What eating plan are you using?

    Counting calories mainly, trying to eat more veggies, cutting down my "bad" foods.

    3. What is your favorite way to exercise? Walking

    4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? Saying no to food when I'm out. Not reaching for food when I am stressed or feeling down, which happened alot when I was younger, hence my current weight. The past few weeks have been a struggle as well, with school, and a death of a family member, so....I'm very happy this challege is starting up now, getting me focused again!

    5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? I'm pretty good with keeping track of my food intake. And getting my water in..

    6. What is your short term goal? hmm..well I've lost 35lbs, my next mini-goal is to lose another 40lbs (I dont mean, by like, next month though obviously ).

    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? Probably buy a new shirt, or have a day at the spa..

    8. Best weight loss tip? Be realistic in setting goals...

    10. Tell us a little about yourself! I'm 25, doing my M.Sc... I'm extremely shy, but I'm working on that. I've been overweight my whole life, and I'm determined to do something about it this time, which is why I think this challenge is a great idea

    2. What eating plan are you using? I'm going to try to watch my portions and attempt to try healthier foods (i'm a picky eater...and like more junk and unhealthy stuff)

    3. What is your favorite way to exercise? walking on my treadmill, but i also like my proform ab bench and the body by jake hip & thigh sculptor

    4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? portions and eating better, i like junk and carbs oops

    5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? not sure i have one, but i'm getting better about exercising each day and getting into a routine

    6. What is your short term goal? to hit my goal during this challenge...(I updated this...I forgot how long this challenge is...) LOL

    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? flowers for my yard...our military housing has no pretty stuff in the yard....just weeds/grass...

    8. Best weight loss tip? keep a food log to stay accountable...and write down your exercises...now that i keep a blog and am in challenges, i find that i exercise more often when i have to tell someone i didnt do it one day...so i stay more motivated

    10. Tell us a little about yourself! I am an Army wife!! HOOAH! we celebrate 6 years married next month (May 17), but have been together for almost 9 years and he's been in the Army for 7 years now. We have two kids, Abigail is 5 yrs old and Alex is 2 yrs old. All total in three deployments, hubby has been gone 3 years since we got married....sucks! but that's military life. he's probably gonna redeploy to Iraq for a 3rd time next spring...so I hope i can maintain the weight loss and all while he's gone again next year....
    I also sell candles for a side hobby, and it feeds my addiction LOL I have great army wife friends here on the base in my neighborhood...so there's never a dull moment LOL

    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? Well I'm going to Vegas in June, so that will be a pretty sweet reward! I hope to be pretty close to my goal by then.

    I'm 28 and will turn 29 during the challenge. I have 3 children and married my highschool sweetie. I love being a stay at home mom, but will admit that some days I want to pull the hair out of my head My family is number 1 to me though, and I honestly don't know how I would live without them. I'm very easy going and will try just about anything once, well just about anything...there are a few exceptions to this I love to read, exercise, go to movies, and hang out with my family. I want to drop 10 lbs during this challenge, and finally hit my goal weight. I've been trying to loose the last 10 for over a year now, and it's time to just do it already!

    2. What eating plan are you using? I count calories using The Daily Plate, reading YOU on a Diet & of course Bob Harper's book "Are You Ready!

    3. What is your favorite way to exercise? I like to Walk/Run on the treadmill & lift weights.

    5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? Exercising & Drinking my water.

    I live in East TN with my boyfriend Jesse and my youngest son Matt, who is almost 15 and will be in High School next year. I've been a SAHM for the last 6 yrs, but with today's high prices for EVERYTHING, I am looking for a job. I am thinking of going back to school next year for Drafting & Design and I WILL become a Personal Trainer when I reach goal.

  • 1. What would you like us to call you? Kerry, although I answer to Mama and Hey You!

    2. What eating plan are you using? I have been doing Calorie King (Calorie Counting), but I've been reading a lot of Paul McKenna stuff so I'm going to start giving him a try as he makes sense.

    3. What is your favorite way to exercise? I do Karate two days a week and I run on the other three days. Weekends are lots of family stuff.

    4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with? Journalling and staying on track. Snacking at night. *sigh*. Right now, everything. I've not been exercising for two weeks and I need to get back on target NOW.

    5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at? Maintaining. I fall off the wagon ALL the time and unless I'm pregnant I don't gain more than a couple of pounds in the months between when I fall off and drag my butt back on track.... (Oh... and NO MORE BABIES!!!!)

    6. What is your short term goal? 188. I'm working on 10lbs at a time.

    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? The reward will be that I should be able to fit back into a top I bought before I got pregnant with my youngest

    8. Best weight loss tip? Hmm... learn how to celebrate achievements without rewarding yourself with food.

    10. Tell us a little about yourself! I'm 37 years old (nearly 38!) and I am a British Transplant to the US living in Florida at the moment. I moved here 9 years ago and met my husband online when I was living in Boston and he was in Miami. We met shortly after and we now have two beautiful children; Alex who is two and turns three in June and Tom who just turned six. I used to be an IT Manager, but for the past 7 years I've been a SAHM and I've recently started my own business selling Mother's Bracelets. That's me!

    2. What eating plan are you using?

    I've been on WW for the last 2 years and I'm not sure if I will do that or more of an intuitive eating approach.

    3. What is your favorite way to exercise?

    I am struggling with a knee injury right now, but normally I like to do the elliptical and weight training.

    4. What is one area of weightloss that you struggle with?

    Consistancy. I have a verrryyy hard time sticking to anything for more that a week. Hopefully being involved in this challenge will help with that.

    5. What is one area of weightloss that you excel at?

    Drinking water. And when I can stick to a plan, I usually lose fast.

    6. What is your short term goal?

    To lose 10% of my body weight, which is 31 lbs.

    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal?

    Some new clothes and a spa pedicure

    Don't ever, ever, never, give up on yourself (speaking to myself here!)

    I am a SAHM homeschooling mom of 4 kids, 3 boys and a girl. My DH and I have been married for almost 19 years. I have been overweight most of my life, and have been seriously considering weight loss surgery. But I am giving it one last shot before I go that route. In my (ha ha) spare time, I love to read and surf the internet, and I decorate cakes for a hobby/extra money. Looking forward to getting to know you all better!
