Hello everyone, well done on your losses!
You know after a life time of being a big eater I am trying to learn what a reasonable portion looks like. Oh my Gosh, I would think i am so deprived or something, hahahaha!!!
Thanks for the welcome back Lozz. I see you've been doing incredibly Well done .
I've just worked out just to hit my goal I set at the beginning of this I need to lose another 5.6lbs (to get to 135lbs) and atm I'm losing an average of 0.375lbs a week.. it'll take me 15 weeks (3 and a half months!) to hit that goal I wish I hadn't worked that out! lol

PB - thanks for the compliment, I just hope I've at least maintained this week. You never know, if you haven't been on plan for a little while and jump back on the horse, your body might kick back into gear with the loosing.
Having an OK week here. Still way too busy with uni stuff, but not using it as an excuse to eat like a pig anmore, although not being perfect either!
Been spinning today and yesterday, and got another class booked tomorrow, so back on the exercise, yay! Now the weathers gone crap might get back out jogging too, maybe!
Anyone got anything nice planned for the long weekend? I've got a huge exam on Weds, so it's revision for me, booooo!
I'll be boring and just going on the Wii as much as poss. However, if its nice on sunday man thing wants to take me for a picnic near the river... I think its just a ploy so he can check where he wants to fish when the season starts in 2 weeks time lol
Can't wait to finish work tomorrow as not back in until next Thurs. Whoohoo!! Hoping to go out for the day with a mate on Sunday and maybe catch up with my Mum too.
PB - well done on your loss.
JL - I know what you mean about reducing your portion sizes. It can take some getting used to. I was screaming out for more food when I first started, but had rye crispbreads and cheese on hand for any snack attacks.
An OK week over! I am treating myself to a takeaway... I tried not to go too overboard, but I figured I should do this properly... so crispy chicken and seaweed, noodles, prawn crackers and spring rolls. Yummyyy!!! OK, so it is major calories but at least I planned it... means I am sort of in control at least. Ai Fatty love to eat!!!! xxxx
That's a whole lot of takeaway! Of course, you're going to earn those calories by going for a nice long walk, aren't you? Hehe
The funny thing is, it is a small portion for me! I usually get 2 dishes, noodles and at least one side/starter. Hehe. Am afraid I didn't even walk as far as the takeaway, got delivery! I will do lots of exercise tomorrow, I am at a local festival, I will walk there and around. Promise!!
Well JoseLo, you have to treat yourself now and again. I might have a curry sometime this weekend x
I do! I am trying to be less fixated on food, but I still am at the point where I need to know I can have a big blowout once a week. I'd just get down without that, hahaha!
It's great that you're managing to keep it under control, Jose. Have you considered, though, that you might have an emotional connection/dependancy with food? That's what got me overweight. If not having a big food blowout makes you feel down, maybe it would help your weight loss journey if you started to explore why that link is there, and what you can do about it. A lot of people find that CBT helps break the pattern of emotional overeating.
I'm sorry to keep throwing all this at you, Jose, haha. I just really want to help.
