LC - good luck tomorrow at the bbq and hope you enjoy it.

Hi Pentangle and good luck with your weight loss plan.

Hope everyone is doing well this weekend. My periods are all over the place at the moment. I have a contraceptive implant and seem to have started again Anyway not sure I'll have lost anything as been very naughty this week so will weigh in on Monday.

Maybe eat before you go so you're nearly full then snack on salad when you're there? Have fun though! x

Thanks Re the implant, are you supposed to not have a period at all with it? Good luck for Monday X

Thanks CM! Shame I'm doing more slipping than not at the moment. Damn you uni stress. Wish I could stress and lose my appetite instead of this!

Hi gals. Well after waking up this morning (rather rudely by the dogs i'm looking after at 7am...ON A SUNDAY!!) I fell back to sleep on the couch, only to wake up with the mothers of all headaches. I had breakfast, a coffee and a pint of water and it still wouldn't shift (All this by 11am). After having a shower to wake me up and get ready for the bbq, I felt awful. Like someone was trying to gauge my eyes out with a blunt needle.

I had to pass on the bbq. I didn't feel at all well at all!! The noise and stuff would have killed me at the bbq, so I stayed home and watched some F1 (on mute!!) and that Julia Roberts and Richard Gere movie Runaway Bride... I LOVED IT!! It had the perfect ending!! mmmmmMr Gere... You silver fox who's old enough to be my dad

Whilst vegging out on the sofa I had my lunch which consisted of Pasta, Tuna and mayo and a sprinkle of grated cheese.... And I still have enough cals for my roast when he gets in from the bbq... He'll still be hungry when he gets back, and he's got darts tonight too, so need to make sure he's got a full tummy.

I'm feeling much better now, after chilling in the quiet and looking forward to having a soak and another chill tonight...

catch ya laters xxx

Also while i'm thinking about it...

TC - I felt the same way today with the bad head, but i grit my teeth and got through it. Do you do anything other than study at uni? I obviously mean like hobbies... I used to find that taking 30 - 60 mins away from studying helped me to de-stress then I could go back refreshed. (And by hobby i dont mean working out!! who ever says their hobby is to work out is just plain crazy!!)

Pentangle and CM - One of my niece's has the IUD, and we were talking before she went on her hols. She has no idea when her AF is gonna show, or even stop for that matter... I guess it depends on the person. I used to be on depo (the injection) almost 10 years ago, and it completely stopped mine... However it did leave me with A LOT of this weight that I'm only just trying to shift.

We've been trying to get pregnant for nearly 3 years now, obvs never happened. So that's another reason why I'm here, doing what I'm doing

Lozz I think weight loss helps greatly with fertility. We decided to have a baby after I had lost a lot of weight before and I had never gotten pregnant before that even when had scares over a 7 yr period. My BMI was in the 26's, and I had read that it's better to be more like 25 for optimum fetility more than 20. So I think weight does play a big factor in it. It's one great motivational reason anyway to stick in with it! xx

Well can I just say I am starving haha, but been good and been looking through the goal pics section for motivation and took some absolutely awful piccies of myself for befores.
I've got the docs tomorrow, I might step on his scales and get him to take note so I can show off when I've lost loads and loads

Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow,I am off to catch some zzzzz's x

LC - yes my cycle is all over the place, but they are a lot lighter. I had to look up what AF means as I'd never seen it before. I thought it might be Aunt Fanny, but on google it says Aunt Flo

Welcome JL and good luck with your plan!

Pentangle - you hop on those scales and show the Doc who's boss!!

I weighed myself this morning and seem to have lost 2lbs. My scales are cheap mechanical ones, so not sure how accurate they are. I was looking at the previous posts on the electronic ones. May have to invest as I'm blind as a bat and sometimes can't see the numbers properly

I'm on my first late shift at work today and have to take my lunch and tea with me, so trying to plan in all my calories now.

Good luck with your weigh ins everyone!! x

Hello ladieeees! Bad Ellie reporting in. After a spectacularly off course weekend of partying and drinking (oops) I'm showing a 5lb GAIN this morning! I know this can't be right and is mostly bloat, but that's what it says so that's what I'll own up to. Roll on next week's wi and a loss that will hopefully look surprisingly good

TC - stress and horrible weather are enough to make any of us munch. Don't beat yourself up over it

Well done all the losers. x
