New to the forum that is, but not to issues with weight!
I just wanted to say hello. I've done a bit of an intro in the intro threads (it seemed the right thing to do
) but thought that since I'm a Brit I should come and say hello in here too
Brief background (I don't want to bore you all!) - I used to be very heavy (217lbs at my highest, and I'm only 5 feet tall!
) and am now happy at around the 120lb mark. There are fluctuations (always up!) as I tend to let things lapse when I'm stressed, but in the last couple of weeks I've decided that I need to re-focus and get back into exercising the way I used to. I'm pretty good with my diet (I'm a dietitian and try to practice what I preach) but I definitely eat more chocolate than I should and honestly have no willpower when it comes to crisps
Anyway, my focus is on exercise. I'd like to tone up a bit more than I am now - I've had various injuries/illnesses in the past year and am feeling pudgy - so I'm getting myself back into the gym and have just ordered the 30 Day Shred dvd to see what all of the fuss is about
