My usual type is a bit more traditional, but I make an exception for Noel Fielding and Russell Brand. Gorgeous!! hehe

The weather is totally grim here too, btw.

All this gaming/sci fi chat is completely lost on me lololol

Ahhhh well, another good day here IF I keep it up 'til bedtime, really hoping for a whoosh tomorrow, and for once I'm going to do everything I can to hold onto it until Sunday offical weigh in!

I always go over on my protein, but I'm not sure that's toooo bad? I know on strength training days it's probably fine, but maybe something I should look for on other days? But then, if I'm keeping cals and fat down, and watching my carbs and salt, if I reduce protein too, what's left? Air?!

Anyone got anything nice planned this weekend?

Me too TC, we'll just talk about... what do you like to talk about?

Oh I think protein is the best thing to go over, if you go over anything. I have to work this weekend, awww. But I am on my holidays soon so whatever

I think your wind's heading my way, Lozz, it's got a bit ferocious out there. Post-cake cigarette, I nearly got blown away!

I was naughty and had one pint too, but it's Belgian fruit beer, so at least they're high quality empty calories.

Well done for resisting cake, Marchmallow! I feel a bit better about my indulgence today, knowing that Cake Resistance was occurring, even if it wasn't occurring anywhere near me.

You lot are welcome to Noel Fielding and Russell Brand. So long as David Tennant is saved for me!

We have Italian students and my mum always makes me be the hostess, giving them their snacks and drinks to watch when we put a dvd on. The plate of cake was sat right in front of me for THREE HOURS, but I didn't touch a crumb! A part of me said "go on, you can have a little slice. It's not doing to destroy all your efforts with one piece." But then, I realised.. it's THAT kind of thinking that landed me overweight in the first place. Little concessions like that, all the time. So I stuffed a stick of gum in my mouth and concentrated very hard on the movie.. and I made it. 50 cals under my allowance today, no junk. It's hard for everyone - even Bob Harper has admitted he has a weakness for cake!

Morning! There is absolutely no way I could have done that MM. I need to learn more will power.
Where I work, we have work shops and drop ins for the public so we often have cake and biscuits and things in the make in nice and welcoming and things. This is a challenge for me!! My colleague brought in some home made cake yesterday. I ended up eating 2 slices OOOPS!!! On the plus side, all my other snacks were quite healthy so I was still on my limits. I am still trying to deny at work that I am on a diet; I think the cake put them off the scent hahahaha!

I am going swimming today, the to work, then off to a party. OmGosh swimming, I am really nervous! But I heard it is the best exercise that works all your body, and size doesn't count against you. This is what I need because other exercise I just find too too hard right now.
What is everyone else up to?

Good luck with the swimming Jose, hope you enjoy it

Although saturday morning is a bit brave? Won't there be lots of screaming kids reaking havoc?

I'm off to meet my parents and bro for a coffee, then got a friends bday to go to this evening.

Have a nice day folks!

Default good morning everybody!!

Bore da ( as we say in Wales!),
Joselo swimming is a fab exercise and when I looked up how many calories it burns I was stunned! Moderate breaststroke for 1 hour was something like 700 cals for someone of my weight, although you would have thought my weight would be an advantage in the water as I am so bouyant!!I tried scuba diving a few years ago but couldn't sink deep enough as I am too bouyant!
Walked my 3.3 miles in wind and rain yesterday and it was blooming hard work. Was up half the night with sciatica but not sure how/why. May swim later but hate swimming on Saturdays as the pool is crowded with kids getting in my way!
Lozz how is the game fest? Have never experienced that kind of thing as the graphics give me vertigo but I do love the Wii!
Well done all for resisting the constant lure of all things laden with calories. I am Slimfasting this weekend. I have tried a few years ago and had some success. I lost 5 stone with the help of slimfast when I was training for a charity trek then broke my leg on the last day of the trek and it came all back on over the next 2 years!! Arrrrgggghhhh!!
Have a wonderful day all,
Sorry for burbling....I am Welsh you see I do go on!!!!!!!

Morgen Leute! (as is said in Germany, hehe)
I stepped on the scales this morning, and saw it had gone up by a pound or so. I'm assuming it's muscle because of the boxing class- All my upper back and arms are still killing me, not to mention my hamstrings. Will give it a few days and see it it drops again. I'm actually going to start taking inch measurements as insurance when the scale throws my numbers, haha.

Have a good weekend - I'm going to try and forget about the workouts until Wednesday, because I have major exam revision to do and I've been going to the gym as a form of procrastination!
