I know this probably sounds daft but I keep a journal of my progress. In it I put the weight slips I get from the scales at Boots. I record my goals and what I have acheived. That way when I have days that I have not eaten well and not lost any weight that week or even weeks, I can look back and see what I have done and realise just how far I have come.
I add to it any information I get on motivation, affirmations and how to find ways to add exercise to my daily routine.

Positive words reap positive actions the reverse is also true. So when I have a bad day I tell myself it is just one day that I have not eaten healithy I can start again right now and get back on track.
That way I don't feel like I used to and give up. Yes I feel bad when I don't lose weight and I get fed up My journal helps me see that I have done well and that to give up would be a shame as I have got so far along the road to a healthier me. So don't beat yourself up reslove to make a fresh start there and then, it is just a stumble along the way, You Can Do It

Uber Happy today!! Not long until i hit the 200's!! I'm still enjoying the food too. But i do need some inspiration on meals so i'm goin to check out the recipe thread again and see what I like. I'm fairly picky so it wont be an easy task lol.

Good luck everybody for WI this week. I know its been tough for a lot of us, but keep it up!!

Have a great weekend whatever you're doing.

Great news re the weight loss LozzCowell. I think this board is a great place to come and get some motivation. It's helped me keep going

Paula the journal sounds like a good idea. I might try and do something similar as I know I've been feeling a bit stressed. I'm starting a new job next week and also with it being the time of the month I suppose it's been a bit tougher than usual. I don't want to throw in the towel as I've only just started.

Liking that journal idea, Paula - whenever I need motivation, I do that with my SW record book. Look at what I've achieved and remind myself that slip-ups aren't the end of the world, just part of life.

I did something like that straight after my munch fest. I loooked at all my before photos and thought about the changes I've made and how surprised some people are going to be when they see me again at a do I last went to 2 years ago. I found the pics from that event and they really shocked me. God I looked huuuuge

Lozz - well done

MEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHH My name is Kate and I have sinned. Weighing in in the morning to assess the challenge of a naughty, but oh so much fun week of food heaven topped off with a very indulgent weekend thanks to having a mate to stay.

This evening I will reinstate my banned foods list, seen as I'm clearly not ready to eat properly without it. I'll also plan everything I eat for the week, and I will not sway. I NEED to get on it again. I vow to be back here and posting daily too. I need to make it to target, and right now I'm not going about it very well.

OK< off to raid the freezer to see what I've got in before I make my food plan. Then it's a healthy tea tonight, rather than teh chinese I was going to have. I'm not starting this thing tomorrow, I'm starting it NOW!

Well done on your loss Lozz, you're doing great! Sorry everyone else, ahven't read back properly, but I will be back on this challnege properly from now!

Ughh...another 'no loss' week. Was sure I'd done a bit better. Oh well. It is TOM, so I think I'll do another weigh in in a couple of days even though I'm not supposed to. Think I need to really commit to eating super healthy over the next week or so - though I am off to Sweden this week.... and I know there will be great hospitality. Still Swedish food is pretty 'clean' - lots of fish, not too processed - that's the main thing.

On the plus side I've done 11 days of good exercise in a row (Bikram yoga or running!) and I just finished the dreaded Week 5 of Couch 2 5 K.

Wink

AM - Don't panic!! At least you know the reasons behind the no-loss-ness. TOM is a chore. But its not all the time AM. Just keep doing what you're doing and the results will show soon.

TC - COME ON WOMAN!! you're soooo close to target!! give it one last push then it's maintenance land for you missy!!

Right I'm hankering for something chocy and cruchy... malteasers i think. just a small bag.

Remember. A new week, a new start okay
xx

Congrats chocmonster!

I gained 1.2lbs this week ... which is not a surprise.. between cinema viewings, celebrations over my brother's new job and take aways I'm amazed it's not more! At least I know where I went wrong though and can do better this week.

AM - well done on C25K week 5, whoop! I did week 5, then stopped right about the time I started eating everything in sight, boooooo! Kep going You will start losing agin soon if you keep at it

Lozz, hope you enjoyed your malteasers, I'm allowed choccie on Saturday if I keep on plan between now and then!

Sprx - feel better soon, whoooop to passing the 4 stone mark, BRILLIANT! Well done you

Ellie and CM - congrats on your 2lbs gone YAY!

PB - here's to a great week this week

OK, so weighed in this am at 12 stone 5lb 3/4. Lowest I've seen on the scales was 11stone 13.5 but lowest on weigh in was 12 1.5, so I'm 4lb 1/4 over that. DAMN! But it's spurred me on to stick to my boring plan today and for the week. I will get back to where I was and beyond. I wish I could do it without being so strict, and without having to think so damn hard about food all of the time. But, MEH, I'm not good at this taking control lark, hoepfully one day!?

I hope everyone's had a fab start to the week, and is feeling better than the weather. It's foul!

No exercise today, just couldn't face getting up to jog. Well I have walked the dog, and run up and down the stairs about a milliion times to pee thanks to being back on teh water with gusto!

Cracked on well with the uni work, and planned my teaching for tomorrow. Got one more article to read then I can watch the Steps documentary series on living, ha ha. Classy tele!
