  • out of interest, what day of the week do you all do your official weigh in?
  • Mines on a saturday morning, when I go for the morning toilet stop and no clothes on before I eat ANYTHING.
  • haha Lozz i am the same, it's how i figured out my trousers and top i wore yesterday weighed 1.4lbs
  • bless ya. See when I first started my WI's I was using the wii and board. Don't ever ever EVER use a wii fit board to weigh yourself!! It's sooo inaccurate!! I look forward to ky WI's... I know I'm strange!! I do an unoffical mid week WI to make sure I'm on track, but this week I think it may be a bit of a bloat week. AF is deffo on her way and i can feel myself balloning.

    Hi all,
    Lost 21lbs so far out of 10 stone or so. Usually get to this point and crash n burn which is why I have joined!
    Not able to exercise for a day or 2 as I have a chest infection and feel a bit rubbish but determined not to return to choccolate/sofa/TV combo!!

  • Hi MW congrats on your 21lbs. what sort of plan are you following when you're well again?

    Do you want in on the spreadsheet? The more the merrier I find its a great way to keep track and stay motivated.
  • did good today, didnt do any real excersise but its my day off work so i felt lazy, however stuck to healthy foods, and within my calories, and felt like a binge earlier tonight but instead had a cup of tea, one digestive biscuit and an apple instead of my usual whole pizza crisps and chocolate lol.
    got an app on my phone 'my fitness pal' its really good, u put in the food u eat and it calculates calories for you, gives a goal for the day based on how much u weigh, excersise levels and ur goal weight, has anyone else tried it?

    Very new to all this!
    It's so helpful to see other ladies who have alot of pounds to shed like me makes me feel a bit less isolated.

  • MW - the spread sheet is easy!! Once I've put you on tonight, its just a matter of weighing yourself each week and putting it in the purple box under the nearest date. The rest, well leave that to me. Once you've put your weeks weight in it should update all the other bits like how much you've lost overall, in that week etc. As the meerkat says simples

    And I agree, seeing that I'm not the only one with a bit of a moutain to climb is thinspiration.

  • well i weighed in this morning expecting to be up, but was still at 255 going to add it to the spreadsheet if i can work out how to lol. was coming out of work at 9pm last night and got a text off a mate i hadnt seen for ages asking if i wanted to have a few drinks, was a bit worried about the calories at first but nothing wrong with having a life eh stuck to vodka and diet coke so did quite well, and no 2am curry either, did have a 2am packet of chewits though which i have added to myfitnesspal
  • MissSMcC - Yaaay!! well done on your loss hunny!! And your data on the sheet looks perfect!! See not so tough Its great that you had a treat night and still seeing a loss!!

    Mountain Walker - your on and ready to go hun. Once you've WI, just input your weight into the first available purple box / or the one with the nearest date up the top, hit enter and you should be done. I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days and update the fiddly bits when needed.

    And my WI... 2.8lbs down!!! With AF in tow... CHUFFED TO BITS!!! I can almost see the 200's!!

  • so annoyed, was having a good day until i decided to dig out my cars MOT certificate to check the expiry date, i thought it was the end of july, turns out its the 17th of june i get paid monthly, and was gonna use augusts pay for it, since we will be back from holidays then but now i am going to have to pay it with junes pay, meaning less money for euros and if its a big repair bill no doubt i will have to go begging to my dad which is so annoying and to be honest, downright embarresing since i am 26 years old, a mother, and moved out like 9 years ago.
    why is it when you feel good something crappy always comes round to spoil it
  • That sounds so much like me!! I like to think everything is organised and then it all goes belly up when it actually comes to it. Don't worry about asking for some help from your dad. Although my parents live in germany, I know they're gonna help me whenever I need it. It's what parents are for lol. Your younger than me chick, don't get too down about asking for help if you need it!

    Well today has been absolutely gorgeous!! I haven't been out in the sun, purely because I burn in about 5 mins, but might go and get some rays in a while now the sun isn't so strong. I've also used this weather as an excuse to have a bit of a treat day. Sundays are usually the clorific day. I usually go over by about 100 -200 cals, but even after my dinner and a couple of ice lollies I'm still under by around 50 cals... Which is sweeeeet. I'm trying to drink more water too now... I'm up to about 1 litre, so still got at least another one to go... I'm getting used to it slowly but surely.

    Well best be off, got to email my mum and fill her in on my loss and other stuff. She's gonna be one happy momma lol
