I am back on the horse . I know you gals can be too if you put your mind to it. Each moment is a new moment to make a choice towards health- don't fall into the "I'll start tomorrow" trap.. each new meal is a chance to get back to it. Sort of starting the 17 day diet today (with some modifications in the evening).

Today IS going to look like this.

1 cup of fresh coffee
1 cup of hot water with 1 tblsp concentrated lemon juice, 1 cube of fresh ginger
1 cup of jasmine green tea
500ml water with 1 berocca tablet dissolved

Breakfast:
2 poached eggs with salt, pepper and paprika on
1/2 grapefruit

Snack:
1 cup of jasmine green tea
1 low fat pineapple yoghurt
1 250ml glass of water

Lunch:
Large salad made with lettuce, cucumber, peppers, celery
1 tin of tuna
1tblsp olive oil dressing
1 250ml glass of water

Snack:
1 cup of jasmine green tea
1 pear
1 250ml glass of water

Dinner:
Grilled chicken breast
Steamed green beans, cabbage and carrots
Boiled potatoes (not on plan)
1 250ml glass of water

Before bed
1 250ml glass of water

Good for you getting back on track Paintedbutterfly

I was getting impatient and hopped on the scales this morning. Not due to weigh in until Monday, but wanted to see if I'd lost anything. Still the same so will weigh myself again when I should do.

Enjoy your weekend.

WOO!!! OMG!! I am so pleased with myself right now!! 2,5lbs since Monday!! I know it's not really that much but it means a lot to me. To see my weight drop down on the Wii this morning was so satisfying!! And I know over the next few days it should down even more!!

I'm suppose to take it easy today because of these cramps but since they've eased off in the last couple of hours I'm thinking about pushing it a little more today. My body feels like it could handle it.

Come on!! Bring it!!

Congratulations LozzCowell!! 2.5lbs is a good loss. Slow and steady is a good thing.

Well done Lozzcowell that's fantastic .

I hopped on the scale this morning and the number was... argh so so horrible . But I know it's due to all the high fat high salt stuff over the last few days and hopefully at least some of it is water retension.. so I know if I just make changes now in a couple days I'll be at least back down to where I was.

So smarty-pants here gives everyone a little pep talk and then goes out and has copious vodka shots....ooops. Someone remind me that shooters are NOT a weight-loss aid....

Well done Lozz! If you think it's not a lot then think of this....in my SW group the consultant keeps this...well...lump...on the table - it's all blubbery and feels icky and it's huuuge. It's exactly 2lb. It's rubber but represents what 2lb of fat looks like and if you don't think 2lb is much then visualise that and be very pleased with yourself! Keep it up, girl!

Right - off to make a big pot of soup. Have to be super good until Monday as apart from last night's glitch, I've been bang on track all week and want a good loss!

TC - Back on that horsey, girlie - even if just for the weekend Look forward to catching up with you again soon!

1987 - Get well soon!

Hey thanks guys!!

I've been back on the Wii this afternoon and I'm heading for the 1hr mark today. It's the most real physical stuff I've really done, and... if it wasn't for AF, I'd be doing a lot more (damn cramps). But hay-ho. Got the dog walk tonight to look forward to lol

I don't want to lose this weight too quickly, excess skin isn't something I want ideally, and a loss of 2.5lbs in a week, is I think ideal.

I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all of you here on 3fc, and if I can keep it up at this rate, I'll be a very happy chick

I'll be getting man thing to take some photos tonight and I might post them tomorrow sometime. I'll see how I feel about it. When I do post them, it's almost a contract I'm signing with myself. Saying that I'm not going to quit this. There may be days when I get bucked off this horse, and as I'm used to it as being a horsey person myself, I WILL get back on and gallop further.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, don't push it too hard!!

Cheers Elliemar.

Just googled 'what does 1lb of fat look like?' encouraged by your post. Wow, I never realised how big a lb is!

This isn't a weigh-in week for me (but will update spreadsheet with last week's weight). I am going back to re-do the last week of Paul McKenna because I really didn't adhere to this week of the 90 day programme.

I did finish week 4 of the Couch 2 5K programme yesterday - and despite missing yoga a lot earlier in the week, I'm back in the saddle. Today marks 6 days in a row of running or yoga! Hurray!

I also had a terrible day emotionally yesterday. I have a lot of problems in my life right now, but I also have a narcissistic mother. She's been playing up lately (won't go into the whole story, but suffice to say once again she's proving how little I matter and she will do what she wants without regard to anyone else) - I nearly reached for the cake yesterday. But didn't.

Sparx - wooohooo well done! Milestones are SUCH great motivators!

Lozz - keep at it - every bit of exercise helps but don't rush it - build up slowly.

Almost me - Sending big hugs! I have one of those mothers too (you'd be shocked if I told you some details) and she will only "beat" you if you allow her to. Well done on NOT reaching for that cake. ((()))

I've been good since Fri night and even resisted all the yummy junk the BF offered me last night. Am feeling most virtuous today. *insert halo smilie here*

Realllllly hoping for a good loss tomorrow but seem to have a little issue. TMI ALERT!!!! Do not read on if easily grossed out..... Basically, I appear to be badly constipated and don't know why. Even made and ate an entire scan bran cake yesterday and it's had NO effect :O I'm getting plenty of fibre, veg and water in my diet....any suggestions?

Elliemar have you suddenly increased your fibre intake by a lot? That can actually cause constipation (for reasons I don't really understand tbh!). Try drinking a mug of fresh coffee that can help and then beyond that you could try prunes and things like that but depending on how long it's been you might want to consider a laxative.
