Default you are my friends

I want to thank you all for your support. Amany,U2girl and SugarNspice, thank you for your posts. Aqua-a special thank you for your pm, I will be writing you back. I am feeling much better. I have decided that I can do 1 of 2 things:1. I can sit around crying and wondering what is wrong with me and over analyzing things or 2. I can pick myself up by the bootstraps and say F@*! it. Pehaps he was just not into me or whatever, but you ladies are right, it is his loss and he does not deserve me.

Just to let you know, I am getting help for my depression and cutting. I have not cutt myself in a month and I am new medication. I am on two antidepressants and I see my shrink monthly, but I think i need to go back to seeing my therapist.

Amany, perhaps you are right about spending time with me. It has been six years without a boyfriend. My last boyfriend broke up with me via email just two weeks before I was to fly to London to spend New Years with him. I think I need to follow your advice Amany, and focus on what makes me happy. I am going to the gym and I am actually losing weight. Someone told me once, "if you don't love yourself, how can anyone else".

Sometimes I just feel like I am the last puppy in the box to be picked. I know I am not the only one who feels this way, I think my depression and anxiety make it worse.

Thank you my friends for the support and I love you chicks

Good morning Lovelies! I new week is upon us. Full of promise and opportunities! Can you tell I'm one of those people that love Mondays? For me, the only day better than Monday is Friday!

Our Fitness Challenge starts today! We'll spend the next three weeks transforming our lives. Isn't that exciting? In a relatively short time we can change our lives in a meaningful and lasting way. We have that opportunity.

Anna - I hope you had a great day at work.

Aqua - Let us know how the appointment goes today.

Danielle - I've never seen Workout. Aren't reality shows great, though. I know what you mean about the exercise. It's hard to get started. Once you start doing it consistantly though, you'll crave it. Your day won't seem quite right until you get your exercise in.

Laramie - You're more than welcome. Just keep reminding yourself that improving your well being is a process. But everyday you're chipping away at it a little more. You're being proactive. You'll have some sad days, but just keep doing the work.
After a lifetime of sadness I saw a therapist about 4 years ago. I had to because for some reason everything just starting coming to a head at once. Bad memories, events I hadn't thought of in years, my resentments... Everything. There were times that it would get so bad that I had to run to the restroom at work because I could feel myself about to cry. There were at least two occasions that I had to pull over when I was on the freeway because I was crying so much I was afraid I'd have a car accident. It was just a lot of sadness that would present itself at the worst moments.
After a month or so of it being really, really bad I started seeing a therapist who made me keep a journal. I had to write letters in my journal to every significant person I'd ever had in my life. As well as keeping a daily journal. It was hard to deal with all that stuff constructively. I made myself dig in though, and I'm better for it.
Just know that we all wish you the best. And we're here for you.

Melissa - Oh the bees! I'm glad you're ok. Thankfully I've never been stung by a bee. I hope you had fun despite the critter invasion.

Default Thanks Melissa

Hi everyone! I had posted on the Buddy up board and Melissa invited me over here to your group. I need some major support and am willing to give lots of support.

I just restarted WW online last Tuesday first WI is tomorrow. I am 38 years old and just feel so run down all the time and so blah, I know if I stick to the plan and exercise I can reach my goal.

My biggest problem is time and I know that isn't an excuse but I am the Traffic Manager of a Fortune 500 company and it keeps me hopping plus at home my niece is getting married in a month and I am in the wedding and it has been a big ta do. Well anyway that isn't an excuse I need to get moving no matter what.

Anyway thanks again for inviting me Melissa and I will check in a bit later here.

Michelle

Butterfly I found it easiest to use photo.yahoo.com. You just sign in if you already have a yahoo account or just register. It's free. Then once I uploaded my pics into a photo album, I copied the web address from where my photos were located and pasted it into my signature. You get to your signature by clicking the UserCP link at the top left corner of this site.

Hello Michelle and welcome. It's is a great thread. You'll just love it here. The ladies are knowledgeable, kind and just all around fantastic.
You joined us at a great time. We're starting our fitness challenge today. We're trying to form new habits by exercising regularly for three weeks. 4 - 6 times per week. Any type of aerobic exercise you want for at least 15 minutes. PM me around mid day Sunday letting me know how many days you exercised this week and I will post it on Sunday evening. We will do this until Sept 3. If you miss a day and decide to exercise twice on another day, that's fine. It will count as two days.
If you choose not to join the challenge that's fine too. Not everyone is doing it. We're just really glad to have you. Post often! I look forward to getting to know you!

BTW ladies I have great news. I'm down 2 more pounds!!!
I decided to join one of the challenges on the Chicks up For a Challenge Forum. It's called the 20 Weeks til Christmas Challenge and it started about a week ago. There are 3 different challenges. One is to lose 40 lbs by Christmas, one is to lose 20 pounds by Christmas Eve and the third is to lose 3 pants size by Christmas.
Just to make sure I was starting off on the right foot, I decided to weigh myself and I was pleasantly surprised to find two more pounds gone! I really think exercise has been the key to boosting my weight loss. Here's the link if anyone is interest. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91053

Hello Michelle and WELCOME!!! So glad to see you pop up over here!!! Cant wait to cheer you on to success!!! Keep posting with us!

I'm still so behind with everyone! But I figure if I wait till I get the time to get caught up I'll be left in the dirt! Today was a longer day than I expected. I spent the whole afternoon with my mother in law...arent you all jealous! Oye! Long story there but lets just say we "tolerate" each other and thats about it. but, we are home now and getting ready to head out the door again soon to go to a baseball game. Which means hotdogs for dinner! Oh joy!

I didnt tell you guys that I blew it on water this weekend so I'm starting over again today. Still gotta get 7 straight days of 100 oz so I can get my yoga mat!! And then the exercise challenge, I'm gonna opt to begin that one tomorrow if thats okay. I'm sure it'll be dark when we get home and I dont like to walk in the dark.

Tomorrow is back to normal, no running around planned so I can finally catch up!! Have a wonderful night everyone!!! I'll 'see' you tomorrow!! Cheers!

Hello guys and welcome Michelle. Very nice to have you. I look forward to getting to know you better. I know how a busy schedule can definitely make exercising and eating right very difficult. Well, you are taking a step in the right direction and that is great. Again,

I did get the day started off right, but I have had an excruciating headache most of the day. My eyes are hurting it is hurting so bad. Then my husband called, the Mazda left him on the side of the road today, so I have got to go pick him up. Sucky day so far, but there is always tomorrow.

Aqua, I hope your doctors appt. goes well. Hello to everyone else. I will see you guys tomorrow!

Ciao!

Michelle to our little group! And thank you Melissa for recruiting some more fun for our thread! Michelle, I know you will like it here, these women are amazing in each of their own way, and makes for some great conversations. Best of luck to you as you embark on your journey with WW. You can do it!! We're all here to help so just yell when you need us, and of course just come sit and chat with us when you can.

Amanda, I am so terrible with reality tv it really is sad. Dh is threatening me with detox if I don't knock it off. LOL I just saw the new Gene Simmons Family Jewels on A&E the other night. Absolutely hilarious! I remember being so scared of him in all his KISS gear when I was a kid, and turns out he's just a big huge teddy bear. He's too cute with his kids. No exercise from me today YET, it's been a busy one. I am going to push for at least an exerball workout for 20 min. while I watch tv, just so I can do something. I hope today is another fabulous day for you!

Laramie, I am so glad to see you here and with your chin held high. You are doing the right thing, pick yourself up and keep on marching. I'm tellin ya, one day when you least expect it, it will happen and prince charming will be there. For now I think it's great that you are working on you, nobody more important! I've done the therapy thing as well, medication too, and while I don't do either at the moment please don't hesistate to pm or email if you ever want to talk! I was dx'd with bipolar II,depression, anxiety, and a myriad of other things I wont bore you with. lol So I definitely understand where you're coming from. BTW, whereabouts in Scottsdale do you live? I live in what "they call Phx" but really it's only cause I'm literally on the left side of Scottsdale Rd. If we lived on the right side of it, we'd be considered Scottsdale! LOL Gotta love boundaries I guess. Let me know if you need anything, ok?

Melissa, Elycia, Butterfly, Mia, Aqua, hope you ladies are all having a great Monday!!!

I almost forgot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to be an Auntie again!!!!!!! My sister Laura and her dh adopted a baby girl last Dec. and resigned to the fact that they would probably never conceive one of their own and dr's were trying to convince her to have a hysterectomy. My sister suffers from a myriad of health problems; gout(lost of meds involved here), asthma, endometriosis(!!). About 3 months ago she had gotten real sick, no one knew what was wrong even after test after test after test. She finally insisted on being admitted to a specialist and right off he figured that it was all the medications she'd been taking for her gout. She was taken off immediately and put on a no meat diet--her diet was already restricted from red meats, beans, and some green veggies. Now she has gone totally vegan and feels 100% better and has had minimal flare ups but no drugs! Turns out about a week later she realizes she's pregnant!!! What a miracle! Everything just fell into place, there was a real reason for her not to be on all those drugs, I firmly believe that. I couldn't be happier for them! They had originally planned on putting paperwork in for another adoption in Dec. when my neice turned 1, and figured if it all went as fast as the first adoption they'd potentially have another baby come March or April. Well, they are but it's their own!!! I'm sorry to go on and on, but man, she has dreamed this ever since she was a little girl and had almost given up......
I'm dancing big time!!

I lost a pound!!! I can't believe it, its luck I think. And I can't lie, my eating this weekend has been horrendous with a capital H! I am not pleased with myself for this, feeling rather guilty actually. This week tho, I've vowed to get cracking and do this thing right, I have to!!!
