Yes! Congrats, Stella!

Ernesto was a bust for us....less than 1/2" of rain.....zero wind. Lots of needless sensationalism from all the weather people here...guess they're bored because it's been a calm year so far. Looks like those north of us are getting all the rain we'd hoped for! Put your rainsuits on, ya'll!

Doomtown here I come....the trailer is parked out front...I've never actually driven with a trailer before...we'll see how it goes.
Jill - gotta give those weather people something to do Sorry you didn't get the rain you were hoping for.

Yay Stella on the 3 lbs!!

Hey Chicks! Looks like everyone has been MIA. Hopefully out riding and having fun this weekend. I had a fantasic ride this weekend. It was great weather and the views where great! I enjoy riding at this time of year. It was a bit chilly in the mountains but I am not complaining. Went to a wedding on Sunday. It was a site me all decked out in glitter and black velvet with my chaps on. Got off the bike and took the leather off and through on my pumps. Some ladie said did you really come on the motorcycle in that outfit. I just laughed. It is funny how you make it work with what you have.

Keep on Keep'n on Chicks! Have a good day.

Lost a pound according to my weight traker, BikerBabes!

What I didn't confess to ya'll is that I had GAINED back four pounds more than my weight tracker showed! YIKES! Yes...I've had waaaay too much fun this summer.

So...the great news is that I've really lost FIVE pounds! YAY ME! I hope this loss will motivate me....my good friend Karen, is doing weight watchers and having success...so I can't let her beat me...especially since we're going on a cruise together over Thanksgiving! Is anyone here doing weight watchers?? I think I'd like to give it a try. Any opinions??

Gina....how'd it go getting to Doomtown with your trailer?? Did ya have a great weekend?

Harley...had to laugh and laugh at your weddding arrival. Sounds like something I'd do

Stella....so glad you had a wonderful weekend camping with your girls. Those times are The Best, arent they!

Hey! Where's Tiff???? Bet she's busy getting ready for her man to come home. Gosh....can't wait to hear from her.

And...anyone heard from 2frus???? She's been gone from us forever. Hope she's OK.

Holly....you popped in and out....where'd ya go?

Hope everyone's having a great weekend....we rode last night and had a great time at a karaoke biker bar we like. No....I don't sing, I just have a blast watching everyone else. They do begin to sound better after a couple of beers!

He is home, arrived Friday. He thinks I'm hot!!!! He told me that the pics I sent him through email had impressed him but seeing me in person, blew his mind. He is driving me nuts though. We fight over computer time here, he brought M & Ms home from the store yesterday, he doesn't want to eat chicken, he snores, hogs the covers in bed, he wants huge gormet meals for dinner, AND we still have not been able to take the bike out even for a little ride!!! It has been in the 40s & 50s here for temperature and he keeps saying it is too cold. BULL, we have ridden in cold weather before. I guess for all the other stuff that is irritating me, I am just going to have to get used to having him around again. I know this is going to sound weird but, it is hard for me to get used to getting a compliment from him every hour of the day. I am definately not used to that. I am still stalled out, but at least I am not gaining. Now that he is home I can resume my nightly walks. We live out in the country, on a busy county road and he didn't want me walking out there at night alone. Now I can drag his chubby *** with me. He gained about 20 lbs while he was gone. Well I better go for now, off to see his sisters. We have been doing nothing but traveling to see people since he got home. I think they should all come to us, then I don't have to run all over the state visiting. Today we are going to see his sisters in Burnsville about 65 miles, then we are going to dinner at my parent's, 90 miles, then home 17miles. We can't take the bike because we have to take the children with us. AARRGGHHH.

Bye for now, Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Oh wait one more thing, did I tell you he thinks I'm hot??? hee hee

Good to here from you all. Were the heck is Gina we didn't lose you on the holiday weekend to fun for the rest of the summer did we???

Hey Tiff it sounds like your going to have to get used to the married life again. Don't let DH drag you into old habbits and ways. I am surprised he gained while he was gone. My DH used to have a loss everytime he'd be gone on ops. I agree with you on all the people one feels they must go see when they have been gone. It will drive you nuts. Make that man get on the harley and take you for a good ride. Tell him not to be a winer. I got caught in the rain this weekend. Soaking wet from the knees down. I was only in it for 15 min. Such is the life of riding. I enjoyed it regardless.

Jill congrats on the loss! You'll get there Chick just don't give up.

Well Chicks keep on Keep'n on and have a great day.

Hi Everyone!

We've all been so busy lately!

tiff- Glad your hubby's home.

Gina- Hopefully Doomtown was a blast.

Stella- Camping sounds great.

Harley- Your wedding outfit sounded lovely!

Jill- I've had many friends lose on Weight Watchers. I've toyed with the idea of joining, too...

Well, we're a couple weeks away from my brothers wedding and my dress is almost made. God bless my grandma. If it weren't for her I don't know what I'd do. She's a very talented seamstress!!

Went to see Lynyrd Skynryd last night at the state fair...it was awesome!

Have a great Monday chicks!

Holy crap it has been a while since I posted...

Doomtown was hecka fun - we got to go backstage with the English Beat! The rides were fun - the bike ran great! The trailer was a PITA - I busted a tiedown halfway up the mountain. I pulled over to try and fix it...and a cop showed up. But it was a good thing, he was actually helpful. We apparently didn't tie it down that well and I had to stop again not too much later. Luck was really with me - I pulled into a Ski Resort - the whole parking lot was full of Dirt Bikes and trailers and dudes who ride...needless to say they were better at tying my bike down and I made it to Reno in one piece.

I've been digging spin classes lately, even to the point where I bought a mountain bike off of a friend. Workouts have been good....eating on plan has been a bit sporadic.

Andrea - Lynyrd Skynyrd - too fun! I bet you look gorgeous in your dress for the wedding!

Harleymom - soaked to the skin and still having a good ride. That's a REAL biker chick!!

Tiff - That's great he's home!! Try to stay focused - I know it's hard you are travelling around so much and he is being less than helpful sometimes. Plan ahead as much as you can.

Jill - 5 pounds WOO HOO!!!

Stella - Camping! YAY!

Hi to everyone else!

Hey Gina! We missed ya! You're always having an adventure and we love to hear about 'em!

Tiff....I'm sure it's gonna take both of you getting used to your different lifestyle TOGETHER! Just really try to stay on plan...he thinks you're HOT so keep it that way! It's so hard when hubby's try to sabotage our good intentions, whether they mean to or not! Hope you can get out and ride soon.

It's starting to cool off a little, so riding will be more enjoyable again. We love the winters here; it really is our time to ride!

Have been researching Weight Watchers and am going to give it a try. I have all my tools ready and I AM SERIOUS. About time....huh! Now....if I can just dust off my Gazelle and my weights....
