Speaking of T&A.....this goes for both sexes...I saw the scariest pair of man boobs yesterday...almost fell of my bike. Well..it was T anyway thank god it wasn't A as well.

Woo hoo on all those pounds Harleymom and Stella!!

I'm all excited today - Jackie Greene is going to be on Conan O'Brien tonite......our local boy is hitting the big time!! NBC at 12:30....

The weather has been beautiful - lots of riding in! I'm kinda outta control with my eating again - but getting lots of gym time in. Ah well...someday I'll talk myself into doing it all at once and get this last few pounds of once and for all.

Hello everyone, I haven't been here is days!!! I sorta fell off the wagon, GOT MY DANG PERIOD!!! All I wanted was chocolate and BAR food! But I only ate a little of each...well except for that snicker bar. I did pretty good at happy hour...well except for the eating the entire artichoke dip plate. hmmm I was bad, I admit it. Good news is, now that the water retention is down, I didn't gain and I didn't lose, I stayed the same. Not bad for my intense week of the munchies. This Saturday is when my friends decided to celebrate my birthday. With my hubby far away, I think they are planning on getting a little wild (what am I in for?). In the morning, one friend is taking me shopping and out to lunch at Grizzly's. If any of you don't know what Grizzly's is, it is a very good place to eat but VERY bad for your diet. Then later on, all my friends and I are going out to dinner at D Michael B's, this is another place like Grizzly's. Then we are going out to the bar afterwards. I think that when I weigh in on Monday, I will be up at least 10 lbs!!! But, I don't care, It's my birthday and I will just work extra hard to take it back off.

I totally want to go to Sturgis this year but with Kris gone, it's not an option. ARRRGGHH We will be going next year though, already planned out. The MIL is taking all three kids!!!

I better go to bed, it is after 1am here. Goodnight

We're thinking Sturgis next year too! It's just 350miles from DD and grans in Wyoming, so we'd make a super-trip out of it. As next year approaches and we see who's actually able to go, a plan we have to be made for us all to meet. Wouldn't that be fun!

Tiff.....have a GRAND birthday! Sounds like you have a lot of fun times w/ fun friends planned.

Man boobs. Aren't they just totally gross? KEEP THEM OUT OF SIGHT!!!

That would be awesome!!!

We could also plan the trip so it is healthier LOL!
I have been plotting the path from CA and it is 1408.60 miles
and about 20 hours of riding time. I figure 3 days each way so I have time to take in the sights.

When there I would prefer a hotel so I will be booking in advance- like in March.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIFF!!!!

Here's a link to a copy of the Conan show from last night. Jackie Greene is a really talented guy who plays a bunch of instruments, writes his own stuff and has pretty much stuck to doing what he loves. Can you tell I'm a fan?

He has more tunes at Stream Jackie Greene (including some covers) and on My Space.

I've always thought Sturgis would be quite an experience...but I don't think I could be talked into riding there...at least not on the scoot

Happy BDay, Tiff!!!

Hey ladies.

Well, yesterday my husband had an accident on his motorcycle. Some lady rear-ended him while he was stopped at a red light. Thank God she wasn't going fast. Basically the bike tipped over and he went down with it. He did break his ankle and is in a cast for awhile. His bike is scratched and wrecked pretty good. We'll see what the extent is this week sometime. I'm just thankful that it wasn't any worse than this! Well, girls be careful out there!!

Andrea - that sux!! But yeah - it is good he wasn't hurt more seriously. Hopefully his bike can be fixed or replaced by her insurance.

Be careful out there is right....even if for your DH there prolly wasn't much he could do...did he even see her coming up behind him?

I've been riding a lot - the weather is perfect! But you literally do need eyes in the back of your head. I pretty much assume I am completely invisible when I ride...so far I have been lucky.

I'm off to the gym - hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Sorry about your hubby Rebel, I hope he heals quickly.

Well ladies, I'm starting the Body for Life program again. Today is day one and all is well. It'll be weird eating every few hours again. I'm thinking about taking some pics and measurements, but I don't know if I'm that brave One of these days I'm going to check in and say I've lost some weight

I was able to go out on another ride by myself for a few days last weekend and I think this weekend I'm going to try and do it again. I just have to let hubby know I'll be gone I'd like to take 4 days and go to the Oregon coast, but I'll have to see what my work schedule will be.

Everyone have a great evening, my chicken is calling....

Hi Chicks!

Been busy getting ready to fly outta here to Wyoming tomorrow! Can't wait to see those sweet little faces at the airport in Cody...waiting for their "Mimi" to arrive! That's me...Mimi!

When I get back....I'm gonna get serious about this weight thing. I promise.

God Reb.....terrible about your husband. Yes....we are invisible when on our bikes. We got airhorns when we were in Myrtle Beach....and last weekend we bought the new carbon/kevlar helmets. Yes...they are expensive.....but they're very light, cooler on the head by about 15 degrees and they have some serious protection qualities.

See ya'll next week.....I'll be gone til the 16th, but will be checking in from Erin's while I'm there.

Take Care Out There!

Have a great time Sun!

I am considering a modulating headlight- do any of you have one? They really catch my attention when I am on the road and see them.

I may ask for a Kelvar helmet for Christmas It may not be in the budget though LOL!

I had a modulator on one of my bikes and I'm planning on getting one for my current one (read: huge procrastinator ). I think they're great to have. Hubby has a brake light that pulsates as well and I'll get one of those eventually too. Anything that will help me be seen better is a good thing.

Stella - My bike runs the headlight off of the revs of the engine...so the faster I go the brighter my headlight. I guess it counts, huh?

Jill - I need an airhorn! That would be priceless. The look on their faces when I let that puppy blow when they wander over into my lane..HEY! I'm still using it! Have a great visit with the sweet little faces!!

Kathy - tell me how BFL goes....I read a bunch of posts about it in the Ladies Who Lift forum...so I'm kinda curious. It sounds pretty kickbutt. You go, girl!

Hey Andrea - how's DH and bike?

Hey Chicks. Made it back from Sturgis. Wow what a crazy place. Every year more and more folks come out. I guess people started showing up on Tuesday last week. Back the first year we went in the 80's people really didn't start showing up until mid week in full swing. It is almost two weeks long now. We got there on Friday and most vendors where set up and ready to go. By Saturday evening the streets where packed with people. Main Street was also full of motorcycles.

Big news got to ride the 07 HD Ultra and guess what. Yep we are going to get one! DH Heritage has 130,000 miles on it so it is time for a new one. I am very excited. I get to keep my Road King so we will have something I can ride as passanger very comfortable and also get to keep mine! I can hardly wait. I think we should have something by next weeks end if everything goes OK. It is cool that they have all the new HD in one spot and you can test drive them. I think that is the only place we have been that you can do that. The 07 has 6 gears and 95 cubic eng. can you say pure power! I will keep you all posted on what goes on.

Well Chicks have a good day and Keep on Keep'n on!
