Oh my gosh Dawn, had no idea you were going through so much. Well did know about your DS but not about DH and your married life. Wishing you the best!! and again oh my gosh about size 6 being loose!

Colleen, wow alot going on with you too. I am also on Wellbutrin, I hope it works for you. And your upcoming trip sounds great!

Wow, that jacket is incredible!! so many features. a 6 though, that is tiny, I would jump on it if it was an 8 even...I do need a new pair of chaps but are the chaps also tiny?

our local TV channel just interrupted with 2 weather alerts, tornado warnings (they are a rarity up here!) and severe weather, hail reported as big as baseballs!!! It is in the next county and moving away from us, we just had a super hard-rain and thunder and lightning. Hope it doesn't damage anyone badly!

Hi Girls and Aaron

Well the trip was great even though it rained clear through Friday Night but Saturday was nice and warm and we rode even went into AR for the day - NO helmet law in AR of which we are use to in SD - Branson is very commericalized but there is alot to do for nightlife with shows and all- the condo my dad set us with was awesome and really nice
But the weightloss again has went by the way side...........

Holly glad to hear DH is riding some
Colleen the landscaping looks great and have fun on your trip as well- hope you guys take a day into Branson
Tammy great to hear from you - I see you are still hanging in there

Well we were heading home when the twisters hit Joplin MO on Sunday of which we rode through there on Saturday - wow so sad that mother nature feels the need to behave that way

Well I know I need to go back and read more but tired and want to go to bed

By the way glad to see you are still rocking the weightloss

Happy Sunday - hope most of you are having a better day- it is really crappy weather around here but the whole family went out for lunch
then we decided to drive over and see the dam - lettting lots of water out and there will be alot of flooding going on down stream. Not going to affect our river cabin but it will be effecting alot of them

Colleen hope your trip is going good

Holly how is the summer job going? Are they busy?

Aaron I am sure you are still rocking teh weightloss

Reda, I am sorry you are having crappy weather also! I was able to ride to work yesterday, but that was the only day of the week. And the week before only 1 day was rideable.

Well I wish my DH WOULD talk more to me!! like I was so encouraged about the ride we took to town and back (10 miles). So I said something about a free day this week that we could ride somewhere...and he says ' it does hurt me to ride, you know'. Well, NO, I didnt know that!! So i just said, 'okay, now I know that' So I won't take for granted that we'll ride together like we did before or maybe it will just take time.

We drove to our friends' house yesterday, through the town of Barre, saw alot of damage that they just suffered. No lives lost but at least 4 homes condemned because of undermined foundations due to flooding, hundreds of homes and businesses damaged by flooding. Big gouges of side roads gone and washed away. It just rains almost every day, and torrential at times. Stop!!

Reda, we are mostly busy on weekends at the club, but pretty slow during the week. That will change soon we hope.

I have off tomorrow, and I made myself cut the grass this afternoon after i got home from work, so that chore is done. tomorrow I want to get on my bike and just take off and try to find a Memorial Day parade somewhere to watch.

have a good night

Good Evening

Holly hope you got to go for ride today- we did get to go for alittle ride and went and checked out the MO river
We do now have towns around us that are under evacuation notices by the end of the week- not good around here for flooding plus now we are getting all this rain again - our little Vermillion River behind our house is coming up but will not been an issue for us it is all those along the MO river

Well my washer is still not fixed so I told DH he was going to laundry mat with me this time and he did not like it to well and I told him see now you know how I feel- I will call tomorrow to see when the part will be here since it is still under warranty because it is costing me like 50 bucks to keep on top on it.......

ON a good note after tonights bad weather we are suppose to be in the 80's and sunny the rest of the week - whoo hooo finally

Well have a great week

I'm sure! isn't that always how it is. I HOPE you get the part soon!

good morning, I can't believe what a beautiful morning it is out there. absolutely perfect, what I live for. 62 degrees, soft breeze, clear sky. This is what I want to grab and put in a freeze-frame!!

today is my day of two jobs. On WEdnesdays I cook breakfast at the Club and make desserts for two days' worth (cause I have Thursday off) then by 2 pm I go over to the icky winter place and work from 2 to 6 pm. I can stand it , because it's only once a week, for only 4 hours, and it's extra money. And since I'm there only once a week now, there is SO much stocking up of products to do, since no one else does it that the time goes quickly.

I think I'm also in a great mood because I weighed yesterday and I'm down a couple more pounds, but I will mark it only as one pound down as to not get my hopes up. I have gone down 9 pounds since April, and not seen or felt much difference; I can only guess that another 5 or 6 should make a difference in how my jeans fit and how my arms look!!

have a great day!!

oh and I finally got like 300 miles on my bike, that's pretty shameful for one month, I used to do that in like 2 weeks

Morning everyone. Been pretty quite here. Thought I'd give a short update. Been pretty crazy here. Dh & I are working on things. Ds is done with school. Completely done with his now ex gf. He went to 6 flags great America in IL. 2 cars of teenagers by themselves. 1st time he drove that far by himself. He also got a hotel then drove home Saturday morning. I was on pins & needles the entire time he was gone.

Today is my BDay. Dh planed a party for me. He told me about it Thursday cuz he realized he couldn't hide it. funny on his 30th I was able to pull it off but he realized he couldn't. But now I also have the joy of making some of the food & cleaning. I hoped on scale yesterday it said 133!! That won't stay cuz I will be bad today.

Dawn, belated and very glad to hear the son's GF is an ex now. I imagine you must have been nervous the whole time he was driving and away. and congrats on that low, low weight!!

Reda I will sprinkle for all of us, I was off plan for a couple days and I'm sure I didn't eat 7000 calories to go up 2 pounds of fat but the scale shows up again , boo. I have to stay hungry all the time to be on the losing track. Glad you got some riding time!

Hi Aaron, and hi to Tammy

DH got me much better mirrors than the kewl Kury ones, I have to have mirrors that I can see what's behind me instead of novelty ones. Today my new windshield should arrive. I gave it my best but I can't ride with a short windshield.

My knees are giving me problems again, grrr. Just hoping they're better each day.

Hi Gals. Well today I am up to 236. I fell off the wagon and I think it ran me over. The last few weeks we have had partys every weekend to go to so I have had a hard time on my diet. for the next 2 weeks I will be good. Happy Birthday tymaboy. Hi Reda and Holly.

Well just got home - DS bday today and he wanted to go riding with DH's bike but since it is a full dress bike not real comfortable letting him take it so we got him a heritage softtail to ride tonight with us - boy was it NOT already 99 degrees

I did come home and go for a walk but I thought the bugs were going to carry me away- so hopefully the WillPowerDust is working

Aaron it is so hard during summer months to stay on track 100% but if at all possible stay on track during the week then you can fall alittle on the weekends - Geez I can give advice but I sure do need to follow it as well.....

Holly you will get back on track as well - hope your knee gets to feeling better real soon- ya shorty windshields just don't do much for ya

Well now I better go get in shower and get ready for bed- probably won't be checking in much the rest of the week - volunteered the next few nights
sandbagging and all

Have a great week

Glad to be home. Never saw so many dead armadillo! Over 2000 miles in 1 week. HOT, hot, hot! Only mechanical breakdown was the windshield flying off, hitting DH in the chin. Good news--he kept control! Got a new windshield--same thing happened! Guess the screw thingy's are stripped.
Dawn--hoping things work out in your favor. Sorry I missed your Birthday. Was it a good one? At least a good cake?
I'm cheating--lurking to read the posts but haven't responded. So busy.
Jacket and chaps are Harley Davidson's women's size small. A gal that normally wears a 10 couldn't get the zipper zipped, or the chaps buckled. I would hate to promise a fit--I just know that they are NEVER going to fit ME! Ha!
Work is still a strain. A recruiter for agents said that our jobs would be good for a year she thought. That was good news as we weren't feeling ANY job security!
Be good. Better run for now!
