Aaron & Holly great job on the weight loss!! I am holding at 134.

This was my 2nd week on the 12 hours days & I have enjoyed this week more then last. Maybe cuz I wasnt running around everywhere getting ready for Easter.

Tomorow DS turns 18. I am expecting a headache with that. I have already heard I'll be 18 more then I care. His GF had her baby on Monday (not his) So that will add to the headache. He wants me to be Grandma & I am having a hard time with that one when they are both young & both in for a reality check now that the baby is here. I will be nice but I am not going to spoil her or the baby nor give him money everytime he needs it cuz I know he will spend all his money on them now instead of gas or what he would like just for him. I already compromised with him once a few months ago on the "I'll be 18" I'm not compromising any more. I know he ante ready for the real world & if he keeps it up he will find out 1st hand. Then I will let him back in & hopefully it will be fine again. I just need to get him to graduate & leave for boot camp without her messing up his plans before then.

I'm wracked by nerves about tomorrow. About the truck we're traveling in, about getting there without getting lost too many times, if the bike is what it was pictured to be, getting back here, getting it unloaded with DH's bum arm..argh!!! My first cheat was tonight, in weeks. About 9 chocolate kisses (it sux that they were even in the house) and two small bowls of granola. If my stomach is so nervous, why am I snacking??

oh my main reason here was to say Happy Birthday Mandy (willow650) if you're lurking!

Hi Gals. Tymaboy I here you on the son turning 18, my son will be 18 in june and he has started to chew, and my wife and I are trying to get or make him stop and we are fighting the whole I am going to be 18 thing. Holly you will be fine on your trip, just remember in a few hours you will be home and your bike will be ready to ride. My ride was not to bad, it was only 60 by the time we could go. We stoped at Dairy Queen and had a small cone, and my wife froze all the way home. My wife put her chaps on from last year and thought she had mine on she has lost 25 lbs this winter and her chaps are a little big on her. All my leathers are big on me this year, my jacket was tight last fall with a thin vest on ,and my leather pants way to tight , now it looks like I should get a smaller pair.

Aaron, our older son smokes and I wish so much he didn't!! but congrats to YOUR WIFE for losing 25 pounds!! she must be swimming in her leathers you too!

OK - my new-to-me bike is here and safe!!

2004 VTX 1300C 2700 miles! I will change that soon Kury grips; Kury Zombie pegs (driver, highway, passenger) Kury skull mirrors; helmet lock on left grip; hypercharger; Vance & Hines pipes. I love the red! it is a metallic deep bright red. I will get her registered and inspected on Monday then I can RIDE!!!!!

thank you all for being so patient with me all these months!

oh and the truck my husband borrowed from boss is a Ford F350 dump truck!! but it did the trick. And I even drove it for a while, it has power steering and power brakes so it wasn't bad at all, and its fun to be up so high!

And at the dealers', DH got on the bike and just took off on it, went around the building to check the clutch, gears and brakes...I was just standing shocked with my mouth open, I was so glad to see him do that! (but don't crash it for gosh sake! )

Holly I just love the color of your new bike.. I hope you can take it for a ride soon and put some miles on it. Holly if you had fun riding in that small dump truck you should go for a ride in a real big rig. Well today I am at 239.4 up from weigh in day but down from last week. I love our new scale some days and hate it others, weighing every day you see the weight numbers go up and down.

Congrats Aaron way to be dropping weight- you are rocking it

Holly love the color and you look great on it You will be riding in no time

Dawn sorry to hear about DS but hopefully he will come around - with a baby around he will see how hard and difficult it will be and find out that he is not ready- Glad to hear work is going better for you this week though

Ok well we are having strong winds and not very warm today so I don't think we will be going on the ride today- then DS races tonight so I don't want to be in the cold all day and night, so giving up ride

Happy Birthday Mandy

Have a great week all

So funny, I thought DH was just taking still pics, not video! maybe I wouldn't have acted so goofy if I knew he was taking video but it does sound nice, doesn't it! I didn't go far, just 5 miles to town and then back (it wasn't registered yet, I put my old, crumpled license plate on, lol) But today I went for a longer ride...had to wear goggles, because my eyes just dry out without a windshield. But it was great today!

DH didn't come; his bike needs inspection, and some brake work. But since he is asking if me or son can take his bike to the mechanic this week for the brake work and inspection, that sounds like he wants his bike ready to ride.

good morning bikers of which I now feel like I'm one again rain this morning, heavy rain this afternoon; this is my first day back at the Club (earlier than I thought!) so even if I didn't have loads of stuff to bring in, i wouldn't be riding. Well I've got the whole summer ahead

I guess I am going to get a smallish windshield; and I'll hold off on bags as long possible.

hope eveyrone has a great day!

Hi Gals. Well today I am down to 237.4 this is a new low for me. I can't believe that I lost weight yesterday, I ate like a pig, to much garbage. Holly it sounds like you are loving the bike, the video sounds fun.

Hi to all you biker chicks. Well all I have to say today is that I am down to 236.8 today, a new low. 17 days to make my next goal weight, on may 21 of 230lbs so that is less than 7 pounds in 17 days. If I get 1 good week I might make it.
