Hi ladies, went to spinal therapy this morning. Considering Ihaven't done anything in a year, it was quite tiring. I feel like hellow now. I especially loved the part where I got electrodes in 2 parts of my back and my neck stretched. Then the therapist did some next stretching/massaging and he tried to losen a tight mass of muscles in my back. That hurt. Not looking forward to doing all that 2 times a week.

Mercee, you are so sweet. I always feel like I shouldn't pray for myself or harp on my problems. Others have much worse.

Ellen I hope your GS is ok. I hope he will not be scared of the diving board now.

Toni, How are you today.

Crystle, are you out picking in the garden?

We are leaving for Del Hollow lake tomorrow morning and be back on MOnday. My best friend owns a house boat. I am so looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

Take care, talk to you guys on Tuesday.

Hello Its really hot on this fine day. It made me sick to go outside this morning. I have to go out today and not looking forward to it. I got a huge cantaloupe from friends yesterday. My gosh its the size of a small watermelon. I can't wait to cut it today and try it.

Solly- Oh my gosh girl what you go through. You need some relaxing time this week end. I hope you get lots of down time.

Ellen- I can access those from my old desktop icon. I love to go over and look. You can get some good ideas. So sorry about your Grandson. Poor little guy. That was good the nurse was there just in case. Its nice of you to open your pool up like that.

Crystle- Wow wow wow on the okra. I love okra. Thats so great you got so much. Your freezer must be stuffed.

Mercee- Hope you're having a good day...

Default Good evening

Howdy ya'll. We just got home a little bit ago. You guessed it Toni, I was out picking okra again. I like okra but I am so tired of picking it by the end of growing season. I think I have close to ten pounds tonight. It will end up being about a gallon or so of chopped okra. Tomorrow we are going to eat it stewed with olive oil and onions. We've picked about 8 gallons that were usable and a TON that had turned woody that I'm drying for seeds.
Eating was not stellar today but not too bad. I did not get to walk either so I will try to make up for it this weekend but if I can't I'm not going to beat myself up.

Toni..how was the cantaloupe? Jessie ate a whole one the other day that was growing the other day and then a half of one the next day. I think he is going to turn into a cantaloupe.

Ellen...so sorry about your grand baby. I know that had to hurt. My little man has an ear infection but you couldn't tell this morning. He was all grins. His mama said in the middle of the night though he was crying and crying.

Solly..hope you have a wonderful relaxing time. Sorry that therapy is so painful. I hope the end result make it all worth it. ((hugzz))

Mercee...hope you are enjoying your time away from work.

((Everybody))

God bless,
Crystle

Hi Ladies:

Solly- I hope you enjoy your weekend getaway.

Ellen- Great job finding those recipes.

Tony- I hope you enjoyed your cantaloupe. I love cantaloupes.

Crystle- Send me some of that okra. LOL

Well I went to see the dietician yesterday. We worked out a great meal plan designed for me and my lifestyle. Actually it wasn't that different than what I was doing. However my biggest problem was I wasn't eating breakfast. She felt that was why I lost so many inches and not weight because my body was trying to hold on to keep from starving. I started eating breakfat everyday this week since I was off and I told her I felt 100% better already and I dropped those 3 pounds. I go back in 5 weeks for a follow up and to see if I lost any weight. I am still going to the gym 5-6 days a week. I really feel great.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Another hot day here. I think I'll make some bread today. Tonight I'm making whole wheat tacos for dinner. I'm using whole wheat flour shells. Can't believe its already Friday. My cantaloupe is super. Fixing to have some more in a few minutes.

Crystle- Oh my goodness you're the okra queen. Wow Jessie can sure eat the cantaloupe. LOL !! Its so good for you.....

Mercee-Good for you eating breakfast. I get up late cause I stay up late and my breakfast is at 11 or 12.

Just a quick post... Yesterday I drove out to my daughter and son in laws, and took them and my grandson to a local pick your own farm that is just about a mile from their house. They had blueberries, which we each picked a gallon of, and okra, which I picked a bit of. Their okra is getting eaten by deer according to the owners, so there was not much. They have more blueberry bushes than I have ever seen together! It was HUGE. The berries are very good. I put most of them in the freezer and made a batch of blueberry muffins for Tom.

I picked okra in MY garden today...there was a good bit. I have a lot of Indian recipes for okra..curried, masala, etc. I could eat okra every night! Crystle, send me some of yours!

Its going to be a somewhat busy weekend. I hope everyone is doing well!

Oh boy that would be such fun to pick your own. I would love some okra. I haven't had any in years. I love blueberries to. They would make great smoothies.

Hi ladies, we are back home and back at it. Yuk!
We had a wonderful time. Did nothing but sit and laugh and lay in the lake on a float and talk and laugh. At night we star gazed. Friday night there must have been a million stars in the sky. I have never seen anything like it. It was breathtaking. Saturday we entertained ourselves watching 3 turtles eat bread. It was fun and very relaxing. Yesterday, Dh cut the grass and I cleaned house and then went and got the baby and kept him until the girls play VB. It was a nice day.

I think I am going to have the neck surgery. It is just too risky. I will meet with the sureon on Thursday to finalize. Not sleeping at all. I was up EVERY hour last night coughing. Finally slept around 4 AM.

Crystle, that sure is a lot of canteloupe for a boy to eat.

Ellen, it has been a long time since we have "picked" berries. It was fun but backbreaking. Enjoy them.

Toni, glad you had a lazy day yesterday.

Mercee, I have found eating breakfast really helps me. Now I can't go w/o it.

Got to run into a meeting. See you tomorrow.

Hello everyone! I am trying to get motivated to get dressed and DO something today. Tom just called and wants me to go with him to look at a car at lunchtime. Its a silver camry 5spd. I love everything about it that I have heard except the silver. I really wanted a different color...but I am so ready for this search to be over. I feel like we are SOOO busy! There is never any time to get things done. Sometimes it just drives me crazy.

SOLLY: Your weekend sounded lovely...relaxing. Praying for you with the neck stuff. I hope you can resolve the sleep stuff. It will help you so much to be able to wake up rested! Do you know, since I started using my machine, I have had very little problems with RLS. I can tell when I have stayed up too late....it get it a little! Not like before...thankfully.

Supposed to be 101 here today. So hopefully we've got a start on the air going good. I plan on salads for dinner tonight. We grocery shopped yesterday and I'm glad to have some healthy snacks in the house. I slept like a rock last night. So feeling great this morning, enjoying my coffee.

Solly- My thoughts and prayers are with you too. I'm happy you had such a good relaxing time. You sure did need it. DH has to mow to but its been so darn hot here. Hope we're not sending you this heat wave we're having.

Ellen- I hope the car works out and you can get your search over with. We have a silver car too. Wish it was white.

Good moring ladies.

I took a whole Ambien last night and boy did a sleep good. Maybe I finally hit that 3rd level they say I am missing. I actually feel a lot better today so maybe a good night's sleep helped that too.

Ellen, I am actually almost looking forward to the sleep study again hoping it does help me sleep. I would like it if it got rid of these RLS. I had to go to bed last night they were bothering me so much. Hope you like the car. Car shopping is a pain in the you know what.

Toni, aw, to have groceries. I need to go desparately but my DD has been dog sitting all week and I have not felt like cooking so we are squeezing by with what we have. Yes, we have your heat wave. Supposed to be 100 here today. Wish I was in a pool.

Crystle, Mercee, hope you are having a great day.

Maybe I should have taken an Ambien last night. I did not sleep at all. Tom's having trouble with his bi-pap machine and leaks with the mask he is using. The leaks sound like honks. I finally reached over and held the silicone seal down on his chin and the honking stopped. He takes the mask off in his sleep though...once he did, I was able to fall asleep. But that was around 3. I am SO tired today. My grandson is already here and into everything, and folks are coming to swim in an hour or so...I just don't know how I am going to hold up all day. I may try a second cup of espresso....

Forgot to weigh, but I feel bloated, so I think I will wait.

Some kind of big mowing trucks came down by our driveway this morning and woke us up. The dogs went crazy. So we got up early. Should have stayed in bed cause when I stepped on the scale I gained 1/2 lb. I'm not to worried about it cause it could be water or anything. I ate very late last night to so that could have added to it.

Solly- Thats good you got a nights sleep and feel refreshed today. That RLS is horrible. Sorry you have to deal with it.

Ellen- That honking sound could be as bad as my DH snoring. I'll finally fall asleep when he quits. Have more expresso and take a nap today if you have a chance.

Well better make breakfast for Steve and I. Think I'll have sliced cantaloupe and a thin sliced bagel. Grill chicken salad for dinner.
