Hello all got back last night about 12 or 1. It was nice to go and visit and the wedding was wonderful. But good to be home after a 14 hour drive. I've never felt so fat as I did at my brothers. Of course the high altitude in Colorado made breathing hard and then my brother's house is a tri level so there is stairs every where. I've got home with a new determination to lose this weight. I'm retaining allot of water right now too. I'm a bit tired this morning so will be back later.

Howdy ya'll. I had a wonderful weekend. Baby sat little man Sat. night and did basically nothing yesterday. My back was being a bugger all weekend. It is tons better today but I still kinda took it easy. I got a couple of walks in but I skipped vacuuming and major sweeping just in case. Didn't want to make it angry again.

Toni...((hugzz)) So glad you are back with us. And you are NOT fat. Maybe not as small as you wanna be but not fat. The water weight will come off once you rest up a bit. Riding is rough on a body.

Solly..hang in there. Once all this is over you will get back to walking. Focus on getting well and being strong.

Ellen..You're studio sounds so neat. Loved the picture of your little man. He is getting so big.

Mercee...Could you share some of that energy?

You guys rock!

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Good morning ladies. Today is the day I take charge of my eating. I have been stuffing myself into oblivia. I am eating myself right out of my clothes and that 200 number is getting closer and closer. I am going to start tracking on Sparks to keep in check.

Mercee, you are so inspiring, working out with your busy schedule. I have no energy at all and I know it is from not working out. How is your project at work going?

Crystle, I'm with you sista, I did nothing all weekend but lay in the pool. I did get my house cleaned but that was it. Felt pretty good too.Hope your back is feeling better. I wish we were closer I would give you some of my lydocaine patches. Beleive me I know there is nothing better than babysitting your GS. I have mine overnight this Sat and I can't wait. I love taking him to church with us, but now that he is walking, I am worried that he will want to run around especially since we are having church in the gym while our church is being remodeled.

Toni, Come on, you are not fat. But I know where you are coming from b/c I am right there with you. Let's do this together and hold each other accountable. I need a buddy. Glad you enjoyed the wedding.

Ellen, hope you are having a good day. These cool mornings are making our pools really cold.

I just finished a pbj sandwich with SF jelly on thing ww bread. I will have some Greek yogurt and mixed berries in a little while. Lucnh willb e fish sticks. I know they are breaded, but I will stay in my calorie count and a peach. Dinner is rigatoni made with low fat beef, cheese and spaghetti sauce and ww pasta.

Have a great day.

Good morning all. We've got a little cool front here so we're only in the 80's today. Nice! I've still got unpacking to do. Had a nice dinner of salad and chicken breast. Today I'd better go to the store we're out of stuff. I'll have to really scrape around to find breakfast. Maybe it will be oatmeal for me.

Crystle- Glad your back is getting better. How fun to have your Grandson. Mine called me this morning. But he's 18 and not little anymore. Thanks for the encouragement.

Solly- I'm ready to be your diet buddy. I got on the scale Monday and was at 199. It scared me so bad. I sure don't want to be back in the 200's again. So I'm bound and determined to get this off me. We can do it, we've done it before.

Mercee- How the exercising going?

Ellen- Love the picture of your Grandson.

Off to start my day.

Th weather here is really nice as well. I went tp the gym at 5:30 thos morning and it was nice outside.

Solly- Tracking your food really helps. Since I went to see the dietician my eating has improved tremendously. I write everything down. I can't wait to go back on Septembet 9th.

Crystle- I hope you back feels better today.

Toni- Solly is right riding in a car for a long time will cause you to retain water. My workouts are going great. This is my 4th week of working out 6 times a week. I would have never imagined I was capable of doing this.

Well back to work ladies. I will talk to you later. Have a great day everyone.

Default Good morning

I can't believe I actually got to walk outside this morning. It is SO much harder than walking on the treadmill. Those two hills really had my muscles screaming. But it felt great to have my 17 year old lagging behind. Once he said he was resting his calves..LOL

Solly...sounds like you have got this. You will love being back at sparkpeople. I've been faithful this time and really jumped in. I didn't think I'd like it but I really like the blog and reading others. The encouragement from other dieters is such a help. And the accountability. What is your user name I will try to find you?

Toni...when we were on vacation I had jumped up to 197 and that was my pivotal moment. So I can totally relate. You can do this!!!!

Mercee...you are like wonder woman with the working out..WTG

Ellen...hope you are having a super day.

Thanks for all the well wishes on the back. It is TONS better today. Almost 100 percent. Just the smallest catch in my giddy-up.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

I have not been online much since our router needed replacing. It came today and I am finally back online on my own computer! yay! This is short because I have to go to bed now. Tomorrow I have to go for a bone density scan and a mammogram. Oh joy!

Will check in when I get back tomorrow afternoon!

Oh boy another day about under my belt. Today has been the best. My eating has been good. I could use another veggie in my diet and more fruit. I'll probably make me a smoothie tomorrow to get the fruit in. Right now I'm working on just getting my eating back on track.

Ellen- Glad you got the router in and are up and running now.

Crystle- Hitting that 199 really made me sit up and take notice. Hopefully when I weigh tomorrow it will be better. Guess I needed a wake up call. Your walking is so good. You're really doing it. Keep up the good work.

Mercee- Wow out at 5:30. You are really serious and that's what it takes. I need to get up earlier and start my day.

My tummy is growling it would love for me to snack. But I won't...... Sleep good all....

Good morning ladies. Just in from therapy. I weighed on their scale and it was 196.4, down a pound from my doc last Wed so who know who is right. I will start with it and go from there. Eating was good yesterday.Lets fo for day 2.

Toni, we can do this, lets go. It takes something big to knock us into reality and that scale did it for me. I never want to be 200 again so I need to work hard since I can't exercise. How about some fresh veggies for a snack instead of nothing?

Ellen, glad you are back on here. we have missed you.

Crystle, good job leaving y our son behind. Just means you are getting stronger. I know the scale will show your hard work. I need to get into Spark more. I ususally just post my food and that is all. I think my name is JackieG4123. It has been so long since I postedI am not sure.

Mercee, I used to love getting up to work out at 5:30. Today would have been a good morning to walk since it was so cool. Keep up the good work. 6 days a week is fabulous.

Lots to do today so I had better get started. Have a great day

Morning all. Weighed in this morning and have lost 5 lbs. of water. Went from 199 to 194 since Monday. Now to get on the road to losing some real weight. I'll take it since I need help mentally. Today is a new day.

Solly- Yea for the lb. We're on our way. You're right about munching on the veggies. The scale did it for me. It sure made me realize how little I was doing for my weight. And scared me to death....

Ellen- Hope your tests come out good...

Crystle- Walking hills Wow... How funny you were outdoing your son.

Hello everybody! I forgot to weigh this morning, but I did step on the metal monster after lunch and it looked promising! I will try and get on in the morning for a better weigh.

I won't know about the mammogram for a few days, but the technician told me my bone density was in the normal range, though high or low, I won't find out for a few days. Glad they are over....

I spent the day painting a portrait of Tom. It needs some tweaking but I was pleased to be able to get a likeness. I love the photo I used...it was at sunset on the pier in Naples, Fl. last fall. The lighting is very warm with lots of oranges and reds....

Time for bed. Will check in tomorrow!
