Thanks for all the ideas for chicken, I'm going to try a few of them this week. How do you make the spicy shrimp? We have a bag of frozen shrimp in the freezer, can I use those? They are the pre-cooked kind, and big.

It's so good to see all the losses on this board, it really helps me to come here and see that.

I weighed today too, down 2 lbs since Monday, which is good because I had a few slip ups this week. Vanilla creamer in my starbucks (only 4 hours of sleep and I forgot my cocoa hns that day) and I had animal crackers yesterday AND today, eek! I was so nervous getting on the scale. I got to sign the 10lb board... it was... weird... I mean it was good, but weird, I almost feel like I don't deserve it with all the slip-ups I've had.

Is anyone familiar with this... sometimes I feel like I can't do this, that I will fail again like I always do. Once that thought creeps in, I start to not take care of myself. I don't quite care what I put in my mouth (re:animal crackers), I don't drink my water, don't take my vitamins... I can't fully verbalize what this feeling is. It's almost as if a voice inside me is saying, who do you think you are fooling trying to lose weight, you'll never do it, you'll always be the same weight you are now, so accept it and eat some animal crackers. I go through this every time I start a new program or diet, and it (the voice) usually ends up winning.

I really don't like this voice inside my head and I'm working really hard at shutting it up lol. This time I really want to be successful! Namaste, I love your u-turn analogy, it has been helping me a lot the last few days.

Well it's way past my bedtime, 'night all!

Default Belly Fat - CortiTrim?

One more question before off to bed......
Most of my "fluff" is on my belly! I can't seem to lose it from here. My center keeps pushing CortiTrim......
Has anyone tried it? Does it work? I know I can get it way cheaper than at MRC, so if I hear positive things, I may get some to try.

Any tips on getting rid of the belly fat?

Thanks All!

ShineOn - found the toast at Hyvee...I live in Fremont, but I'm sure some of the Hyvees in Omaha have it to, if we have it in little 'ol Fremont lol!! Anyway it was with the Melba Toast, and while I can't exactly remember were that was in the store, I think it was over by the bread, it was not where I expected it to be.

Strawberry - hang in there, you can do this!!! Something that helps me keep the slip ups in perspective is that many diets suggest 80% on plan 20 off. I think the power in that is that its okay to have a slip just don't let in turn into a whole downhill slide Know what you mean about wondering if you can do this, my negative self talk is maybe I'm happy being fat...funny isn't it we know that its self-sabotage but we still hear that little voice in our head! Fight back...and do something nice for yourself for getting to sign that 10lb board, you deserve it!!!!!

auntsandyrules Nice to see someone else on here from NW FL! Which center do you go to? I go to the Shalimar center.
I found the snack toast at the Food World near Santa Rosa Mall. It's not with cookies/crackers, but with the snacks. The melba toast is in the same place as the snack toast. They have cinnamon raisin and blueberry and they are both delicious.

cheeriloos Welcome!

I wanted to say THANK YOU to all for the comments about my concerns about my losses slowing down a bit. Once again, I'm really glad I'm here for the support that we all give each other. It's making the journey a bit easier!

Cheeriloos - Welcome to the board. You'll find lots of great support here!

Strawberry - Hang in there, girl. You CAN do this! And you deserve to see success! It seems like you are always on the go. Are you taking any time for yourself?

Angierue - Are you still out there? Come back! I miss you!

Sharon - Yea for you! It sounds like you had a great time on your cruise AND you didn't gain anything back! Yea!!! I knew you could do it! And how exciting that you had so many scuba and snorkle opportunities and that you made the most of them!

Personal update - Whew! I have finally undone the damage from my six nights and seven days at home. This morning my scale read 2/10 of a lb less than the last weigh-in I had before the holiday. It had been up almost five lbs, but I suspect it was mostly water 'cause there's no way I ate that many calories-lol! Now, if I can just start forging new numbers, that would be very exciting.

Finz-
I signed up at the Destin Center, but I go to which ever one I am closest to at the moment. I live in Niceville and was working in Destin (my company closed and we were all laid off June 1), so Destin was easier to get to (lunch breaks!) Now I go to Destin if I am already "across the bridge". Other than that, it's the Shalimar Center.

I take Stuart Pre-Natal. They are available at Walgreens or, for Texas shoppers, HEB. They are about $28 for a bottle of 100...not sure how that compares to the MRC multi.

I have not posted in years but I am back on the program after having a baby. I totally believe in this program and I am ready to get this weight off!!

auntsandyrules I love to talk about herbs and vitamins so anytime you have a question!!! Corti trim is an awesome product it does not get rid of belly fat it lowers cortisol levels to help stop producing more belly fat so you can lose it in the belly and thigh region!!! Most people who carry belly fat around the middle have a lot of stress and cortisol is the stress hormone!! SO the corti trim helps!! But work on the stress as well take time for your self!! also if you are feeling stressed 5HTP is awesome as well

They do things like that all the time.I have seen them give a month back to a client because they were sick or family problems (job loss, dealth of family member). Also the number of weeks does depend on how much you have to loose. That is why they say that each program is designed just for you. From the number of weeks you need to be on program to which menu or how many HNS you take. Just thought you should know
To be honest, in my case it didn't matter a lot because I didn't go in to the center much during my year of maintenance anyway. Which I don't recommend, by the way - you pay for the year of maintenance - take advantage of it!!! The gal who told me (over the phone) that my year of maintenance started in September had called me back after checking on it. I could've challenged it but since I hadn't been going in anyway, and I was past the one year point on maintenance anyway, I was going to be paying $99 either way. BUT, other people should definitely ask the question, probably when they first start maintenance.

As far as the rest - yep, I'm aware.

Down another 1.5lbs since Wednesday - now I'm officially 1.5 lbs from stabilizing and .5 lbs from that 90 lb board

Welcome cheeriloos - I'm glad you found us! thelish - I'm going to HyVee to see if I can find them - thanks!! Have to get a dress for the wedding . . . today, nothing like last minute shopping, and they have a HyVee at the new mall. Wish me luck! Grad School - nice job on the recovery. Even better is the fact that you made the healthiest choices in a uncontrolled situation. That shows a real commitment to your new lifestyle. Most would have said oh well, I might as well indulge. Good on you! heartscry - Welcome back and thank you for the information on the Corti-trim. That makes a lot of sense. I did add that a month ago - high stress job as a Realtor - and I am seeing a big difference in the middle. But I'm also working out a lot too.

Have a great Saturday everyone!

My center is pushing me to try Cortitrim also... I was just about to ask for opinions myself. My belly is where I'm not losing as fast. And, I am under a lot of stress right now (Only Sundays off work for 5 weeks now. Hubby works nights. 4 kids. Gas! Money. Bills. etc, etc.) If ya'll say it works then I'll buy some, but I never really noticed a difference with the Enhancer that I bought... So, I'm just hesitant to spend more $$$ than I need to.

I have that same little voice in my head too! Especially lately, since I've been stuck in this spot for so long. I've been so close to giving up and just taking the loss I've gotten & trying to be content. Even tho I'm no where near where I want to be - it's hard 'cuz I keep feeling like a failure!

Well, today is the 1st day of MetaQuick for me. Had an HNS & a bar at 5:30 am on my way to work. My stomach started growling around 9:30 to remind me to have another HNS. Then at 12:30 for lunch, I made a shake. Wow...a little too thick & sweet. But, I nursed it down. I'm planning 2 shakes tomorrow. Any, ideas on getting those shakes down better. I've got vanilla.
