WOOHOOO!!!!! That's awesome. I hope my 4 day MQ diet will do the same for me. Actually, I need it to be 7 lbs, not 3! I gained 4 over my weekend binging and I want to lose 2.5 more so I'm at 40lbs lost! I think I lost 2 of the 4 already. If I can do 2 more today and another 2 by the end of the week I'll be @ 132.5! I'll let you know ! Congrats again.

So, make your list love and work out those "freedoms". Figure out what you gain by losing and then it's up to you. But first, stop dwelling on the "off plan slip" and move forward. You can do this.

Thanks goal4life for the link.
You are welcome..glad you can ship them. I love having 2 of them...and I make "chips" out of them also for a treat at dinner.

Just a quick post - busy day. Made the "Orange Delite" (pg 211 of MRC cookbook) for lunch - OH MY GOODNESS! It was so yummy. It tastes just like an orange sherbert smoothy. I'll post the recipe on the recipe thread.

You use two tablespoons of the low sodium taco mix. I ususally mix my ground turkey meat, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder 1 of onion powder, the two tablespoons of taco mix, Chop green onion and bell pepper and mix it all together, with the meat and cook it in a non stick frying pan add water after it browns and let it simmer for 20 or thirty mintues until the vegatables are done the add raw tomato when I put it on my tortilla or 20 cal corn tortillas.
Hope this helps. I have found this is one of the foods that has helped me through this program because I love tacos and burritos and this is I try to have it once a week. I now can have it at lunch so I add shredded cheese to it just a little. I am on stabilization now.

Congrats to all the losses! You guys are doing great!

I had a WI in today as well and lost another 2lbs! It feels so good to see the scale move! I think it's getting easier for me to resist certain foods, or maybe it's just that I've accepted what I'm allowed to eat now. I'm still looking forward to the day I can eat a bowl of ice cream again (ok - a small bowl?) Please tell me I'll be able to do that again...please?

I also ran across something in Bakers/Krogers today that I've never seen before. I think they'd be legal - but I'm not going to ask MCR (they don't want us to have any fun)- I'm just gonna have them occasionally for a treat.
They are called Heavenly Desserts Meringues
serving size is 10 (they're pretty small)
40 calories
0 fat
20mg sodium
15g carbs
0 sugar
2g protein

They come in chocolate, lemon, cappuccino, strawberry, & vanilla - although I only found the chocolate and vanilla. They are SOOOOO GOOD! At least the vanilla are, haven't tried the chocolate. Kinda interesting though - on the box it says EXCESSIVE CONSUMPTION MAY HAVE A LAXATIVE EFFECT - hmmmmm how much exactly is "Excessive"??

Hi, everyone- I'm back from a birthday vacation with my family in beautiful Glenwood Springs, Colorado. And, yes, I DID get in my swimsuit and play with my kids at the pool. I wore a cover up, but it was more for protection from the sun than to hide myself. THANK YOU for encouraging me to do that- I have no regrets.

Had WI this morning and am down a total of 7 pounds since starting the program on June 30th. Pretty good, considering my pathetic excuse for a metabolism and the fact that I was surrounded by FOOD for the past week. I splurged and had a cupcake on my 40th birthday, but other than a few little cheats, did pretty darn well. A lot of that has to do with this forum. I really missed it and was excited to catch up today (took me an hour- you are all very prolific in your writing!).

Anyway- way to go on the continued weight loss, everyone. Keep it up!!

Good for you! I'm so glad you enjoyed your family & your vacation time! Way to go on the 7lb loss too - it's especially hard to stay OP when you aren't at home.

Last time I was in the center the consultant gave me the green menu, but she didn't explain it and I didn't take time to look at it until today. It looks like the only changes are a drop in the allowed protein (6 oz to 4 oz) and I only have to drink 2 HNS instead of 3. Is that correct? Is the total allowable HNS 4 or 5? Is there any change to the number of creamies allowed in a week?
