Hi there.
For the cream soups I make a paste with a little water and then add to broth with spices. I use Mrs. Dash table blend and cayenne pepper (just a tiny dash).
Other soups I do the same except no need to make a paste first. I do like to add a few pieces of frozen brocoli or cauliflower for substance.
I LOVE making shakes out of my pudding. 8 oz water, coffee, or crystal light, sweetner to your taste, 7 ice cubes and blend for 2 minutes, yes two full minutes. They are delicious and huge. There are so many possiblities with flavors here.
Hope this helps...best wishes to you.

Zay, thank you so much for the advice! You actually answered my next question too...I just had pudding.

Not sure whether I left it in the fridge too long (2 hours) or if it's just the consistency....but it was horribly lumpy, and I could not for the life of me finish it. The instructions say to whip...I shook, should I be blending instead? Loved the flavour, can't handle the texture

For me, what works best with the pudding is to add just enough water to make a paste, beating it the whole time with a tiny whisk. After I have a smooth paste, then I add the rest of the water... and let it sit in the fridge for a half hour. Once I let it sit for 3 hours, and it came out wetter than normal for some reason Good luck! (Shaking doesn't get all those persistent lumps for me, heh!)

My weight loss has slowed down a bit, but I am still with it! I have lost 28 pounds since October 5. I'm thinking about the holidays -- perhaps adding some bars to give me something to munch. I'm also thinking about doing ******** for a week or two in the middle, just for variety, and to use up all of my ********.

I've added regular exercise, which feels great. I want the thrill of being "no longer obese" when I get to 180.

Hi there everybody . . . Happy MEDIFAST MONDAY . . .

to the group, BPO, and too. You give me hope for a quick delivery to a Canadian location. How did you manage that? Did you order by 'phone, like MAYA mentioned she did?

See you all later . . . keep things moving and shaking, gang.

Default Hi Everybody!

Just wanted to check in. I'm down an additional 1.5 lbs. So that's 10lbs in 19 days! Trying to get ready for Thursday! I'm keeping bad stuff out of the house. We're going out to eat so I can control my holiday eating and not have all of that holiday stuff at home.... This is going to be a BIG test for me. I'm still a happy camper though. I can't believe how many inches are coming off. People are starting to notice now. Thank goodness for the variety. If I want to eat MF pudding 5 times a day I can and still stay legal. Last week I had to attend a dinner event for work in a grand ballrooom at a Casino of all places. I had the steak which was grilled and plain, and the salad (brought my own dressing). I skipped their dessert and ate my MF pudding when I got back to my room! Loved It! That was a miracle for me! But now it's really hard to justify cheating when you see how fast the results are. And since I don't really feel deprived cheating just isn't worth it. I Trust all of you are doing well too! Talk to you later!

I decided against using any ********. I'll just pass it on to a friend. If the MF is working this well, why mess with a good thing? That would be pretty silly! I did my inventory on the medifast website and found I have enough MF to last me through December 31 without ordering bars, but I want some for the holidays, even though I am concerned that they may slow down my weight loss.

Hey all!
Sounds like everyone is making the plan work for THEM, which really is good news!
Ms. Letting, I've never heard of ******** -- sounds along the lines of MF? I'll have to do a google. If what you are doing works for you, then keep it up. Sounds like things are going well for everyone.
Ms. Meowee, have you been cleared to start? I hope so! I think the only way to order if you aren't from the US is by telephone...gotta reorder this week. I'll give it a full 2 weeks until I get my food. That way, I won't run out! Boo, customs!
Anyways, everyone keep up the good work. I have my third weigh-in on Thursday am. I'm not expecting anything because of the seemingly-universal 3rd week slow-down. I've been ticker-cruising on the official Medifast site, and see that most people record a 0 weight loss at least once in their MF journey. I'm just getting mentally prepared for it, so I don't freak out, get angry, and eat a pizza....mmmmm...PIZZA......
Later,
Maya

Good Morning . . .

No official word from the doctor yet MAYA . . . but I think it's going to be a go. I will check with him early next month because if I want to start at beginning of January, I need to ordere soon -- just in case my stuff follows the same route yours did.

Sounds like you are doing terrifically well ROZ. Way to go, Chickie.

Glad you decided against the return to ********, SLENDER . . . I'm really not familiar with it, but have definitely not heard a lot of good stuff about the aggresive way in which it is marketed.

I was up way too early this morning -- terrible night last night; just could not sleep -- guess I was thinking about my fun trip to the Periodontist this morning and hoping the roads are in good condition over the top of Mount Thom. We don't have a local Perio, so every six months I have to drive about an hour to get to one in Truro which is the other side of the mountain. Getting there can be tricky at this time of year. Weather is dull and well below the freezing mark again this morning. The highway can be perfectly fine on both sides and a sheet of ice on top. Taking my shopping buddy, LouLou with me -- she shops while I suffer -- then we both eat too much and come back home. OMG, my life is so fascinating.

Have a great day, everybody . . .

Popping in to say that I too am considering Medifast after Christmas. I'm diabetic and seem to be stuck at the same weight. Now that the M Folks know the way to Canada, it may get here. I've not ordered yet.

Yippee . . . another Canadian Diabetic . . . we can each hold the other's hand. Do you think you'd do the regular 5/1/1? I'm probably going to go for the 4/2/1 plan.

Just ordered 4 weeks of the 5/1 by phone from Bruce. He says it'll be about a week so it shouldn't be here until after my trip. We'll see.

Just heard the trap snap and I've caught a mouse. A good sign!

Hi Ruthxxx (you naughty girl...hahaha)
I'll send my cat, Kira, over. She'll catch AND dispose of them, too. Totally gross!
Let us know when your package arrives! And if you need anything, just let all of us know.

I like ********, it tastes delicious and it is really similar to Medifast except with a cleansing angle. BUT -- it doesn't have the history behind it, and MF is working quite well for me. I just sort of wanted the ******** out of my kitchen and utility room, I have so much of it that it is taking up an entire shelf plus a cabinet. I got it free from a friend who tried it and quit. That should be a big sign right there to stick with the MF.

I am ready for Thanksgiving. I am planning to serve my family mostly take-out so that I will not be cooking. That right there will be a huge stress reliever and reduce overeating.

I'm reading the Beck Diet that has a book club on the medifast site, and that book is amazing. I'm still just reading it and the threads, but wow.
