heather, get you some frozen strawberries, your milk for the day (ice if you want it thicker...can always add a little at at ime). Throw in sweetener, vanilla extract, and a TBSP ff cream cheese for a strawberry cheesecake smoothie. Love it.

well afternoon ladies and men too.... I am down 2.5 lbs so far.. lost that during TO... I can't wait to try some of those smoothies.... yummy... so doing good.. i can't wait to lose more.. I am stretching my take off time out a bit just to get a good start,... as I know eliminating most processed and higher carbs for me really makes the lbs drop off.. so most of you sound like you are doing great... have a great weekend. Wow, Dairy - your shake does sound good. I'll have to try it one of these days. I think my DH would shoot me if I brought out the blender at 6 a.m.
He works 2nd shift.

Well, My April goal will not be met. Tomorrow is the last day of the month, and I didn't lose the 10 pounds I was hoping for.
Monday starts a new month. Can you believe it will be May already??
I will shoot for 10 pounds again for my mini goal. (Guess I'll have to start having more salads for lunch like I did when I first began the program!)

to all the challengers out there!

Sherry--I am with you--thank goodness it's a NEW month (almost)--anyway, I have to get BUSY to lose some real weight before we go back to AZ May 31st. No one there has a clue either of us has lost a pound. Just talked to my best friend on thursday and she was complaining about how much she and her DH have gained since we moved--so I felt really guilty not telling her but I really want it to be a surprise--silly huh? So we will get through May together! I am adding a cup of hot lemon water to my day and trying to eat my last veggie close to bedtime. I am starting back on the shakes tonight--I REALLY want to lose 6-8 this month!

I think I have too much food now. Some days I feel like I have to FORCE myself to eat to get everything in!

Boo -- WE CAN DO THIS!! Hot lemon water sounds like a good evening regimen to me! I still enjoy my shake & 1 F for breakfast. Maybe since I haven't been hungry lately, I should try to eat more earlier in the day and save my shake for dinner.

Sherry--what color are you on? Lites? I am gold with lites and I do try to get in as much as possible early in the day. Especially my starches. My COD recommended my shake for dinner, then have a fruit and veggie later in the evening. Deets recommended eating something closer to bedtime and it's helped me not be so hungry (I was trying to get everything in by 7:00 but was starving at 10:30). It's funny, my mom has always said eat like a king for breakfast, a queen for lunch and a pauper for dinner--and now it makes sense! OK girl--we are in this thing together.

Boo - I'm on blue with lites. My COD has told me not to eat past 7:00 p.m., with the exception of the LA Lite, but maybe this week (starting Monday) I will try what you're doing and see if it shakes things up a bit. They have also told me to get my fruit in by 4 p.m.
I'm usually not starving by bedtime, because of the lite. We shall see.

Just my opinion, but...I used to have a lite in the afternoon and again in the evening so I changed it to mid morning and late afternoon, then had a veggie in the evening and I saw a difference. For me, the lite seemed too much in the evening--but who am I to say? Just seemed to work for me. On the other hand DH has his last lite LATE and it obviously hasn't hurt him a bit! Turkey!! I don't know how much more food is on blue (I get 2P, 3V, 3F, 1D, 2S, 1 fat, 2Lites), do they plan to move you to gold? You are not but a few pounds where I started so just curious. I am at a point where I try anything and everything to shake up my routine so get rid of these last 11 lbs--they are too stubborn!

They haven't said anything to me about changing my color. It was more or less implied that this is my color for the whole plan. I didn't even know until I read on the boards that they would (which makes sense to me with the food portions!) Maybe they are waiting until I lose more weight.
I don't do anything too much for activity, unless you count reading and typing on this computer for these boards! LOL

I get 2 1/2 P, 3V, 3F, 3S, 1 Fat, 1 Dairy & 2 lites.

I am sure others here will know more, but I would think the more you lose the less food you will need--although I would give my right arm for your 3rd starch!! It couldn't hurt to ask.

Want my veggies? I'm wayyyy behind today!
Some days I even have to fight to get the starches in. Now with the warmer weather, I've been on a frozen yogurt kick. But if I go out for lunch (Wendy's or something), there goes 2 starches.

Oh no--3 is enough--I usually have a sald (2) then carrots (1) later and I am done. I had to laugh at DH today for getting "unlimited" veggies on stabilization--big whoop--give me something good!!
