Okay im alive! Its a new morning..Thanks for the kick in the pants Wayward..Oddly enough i stepped on the scale and i dropped down by .8..almost another full pound..Its really odd that way..each time i cheat..i seem to go down a pound instead of up??? I wonder if it has to do with the dramatic change in calories? Like it shakes my body up or something??? Anywho..it was nice to see me lose cause i was sitting at that stupid pound for a couple days..

But im back on plan 100%...No junk in our house..I was happy for my hunny..He threw out his coke after i slapped him(verbally) in the face about taking care of himself..and he suprised me with a bottle of club soda!!! Some women like flowers..but i like Club Soda...though..i already drink 4 litres or 16 cups of water a day..so its only a treat thing to drink club soday with my sugar free davinci syrups.. So..maybe next time i want a treat.. i will do that..

I can say one thing though.. i feel horrible.. I went to bed last night after eating that crap and i had a massive headache..like migrane headache..and then i woke up this morning and ive been feeling pukey nauseous..Did i mention i have an intolerance to milk? and wheat and gluten?? Yah.. in small quantities its okay..but that much in one night?? and eating ice cream after not eating dairy for a looooong time..oh man my stomach hates me..its not a desireable feeling..Im just thanking God that i am not craving anything today....in fact..eating what i did last night..hasnt actually aided in me feeling any better..The hunger signals still havent kicked in and nothing actually tasted good last night!!! it was sickly sweet...and tooo much...

So.. i feel good about returning to being on plan... I just hope this tummy yuckyness goes away..

Hey Wayward...infant tylenol is a good thing to have for the kid..also.. kids can withstand a higher temprature than an adult..there body is capable of good with fevers..by the way..totally been there..my daughter got sick with broncitis and i took her to the doc when she was about 6 months for it..poor girl was sicky sick...

Coliep-Yah... i know...i know...im just glad im still doing my 4 litres of water a day..if i can stay consistent with that..then i know i can get back on plan..its when ive completely gone off including failing to drink my water that makes me worry..but that hasnt happend yet...Sorry to hear your up 2 pounds..have you switched over to bootcamp? lowered your carb count even more? My thought is: up your protein..down your carb..So instead of doing 4 cups of veg..try 2 and instead of doing 3 packets and a healthy meal..add in an egg or two..Every night i add 2 eggs before bed on top of my daily consumption and i tend to lose weight..the nights i dont do that..are the nights, i dont even see the scale move..So try up'ing the protein..and changing the calorie count..but lowering the carb count..just a thought..How much water you drinking? Cause i up'd my water to 4 liters from 3...its helped!
As Wuv said..imagine..ever time your peeing..your peeing out fat!

Well i will check in later!

PS: i HATE weekends..how come everyone has to dissapear on weekends! why cant people always be online all weekend! I dont find as much support on the weekends on here..it goes quiet..

I am here on the weekends myself - it is the most challenging time (and when I have someone else here to watch the kiddos!). Feel free to check in and post!

I drink a TON of water, upwards of 5 liters on average so that cannot be the culprit. The last few days I have increased my protein by doing the athletic protocol on days I workout and eating a pure protein (egg whites, additional chicken) if I am hungry (instead of another packet that also has carbs). I don't think it is permanent weight gain, since my calories are good but I am trying to see what I did -- was it the exercise? was it that my water was slightly lower? was it that I had extra sodium in a pickle or something? That kind of thing. While I am somewhat ok with normal scale fluctuations, I would like to know the triggers so I can anticipate them!

Great job on getting right back on track and being down a pound too! When I had my "big cheat" (i.e. part of an ice cream sundae and a lot of peanut butter), I was pretty sick the next day. I also didn't feel great after I ate it. Just goes to show it is not really what our bodies want. Too bad THAT feeling isn't the one that sticks with us when we think about those kinds of foods! Perhaps they might by the end of our IP journey!

I don't feel great myself today, and I really didn't want an IP type lunch but I had it. Funny how when I don't make something like the soup or salad, I don't feel like I have had a meal. Today I just had a bar and some broccoli. It did nothing for me.

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well even after some understandable slip ups. 100% OP is sure difficult - and I'm so nervous because today is the day I leave for 10 days. Without IP products and just the thought that I'll do as good as I can. For me that's trying to stay away from carbs, definitely fried things, bringing protein powder to eat in morning and also at lunch or if I need a snack. We'll jsut see how it goes. I'm interested to see what I find "okay," right now, I think I'll say no more than yes. WISH ME LUCK.

WI # 2.5 (this is for my very short third week - only mon-thur reflected): -2.2 (not bad for four days - I hate to think what it would have been!!!). Down to 142 even - let's see what it is 8/15.

Good luck to everyone while I'm away from the boards - I hope to see good news upon my return.

Hmm..Maybe your over-doing the water Coliep..thats a lot of water for a tiny body of yours..compared to mine that is..
Might be the sodium? But im thinking its more than likely the workout?? A little water retention from that...

Oh did i mention i think i lucked out! TOM dissapeared after only 4 days...and it hasnt shown up like other people say it does..so yay!

Great Job Cherbee and have a great trip!

Port - Not too sure. I wondered about it being too much water but I am constantly thirsty! I wake up in the middle of the night and have a bottle of water at times (and I don't count that in my daily totals). I am sitting here right now really wanting to have more to drink. I do increase my sodium on days like that and my potassium every other day or on workout days because I am concerned about the effects of so much water! Not sure what else to do though . . . there are only so many altoids one wants! Yesterday I tried a propel zero stick in my water at the gym to see if that didn't help too.

could be water retention from the workout - it was a strength class and I upped my protein to support it. I will, obviously, watch the scale and see if there is a trend . . .

coliep...I would guess that the gain is from the water retained by your muscles after a work out. It's the extra fluid that helps our muscles heal after we work them so hard.

I agree that "upping" the protein aids in weightloss...at least it has for me. I've actually found that baked or stirfried turkey on a salad is one of the best ways to go.

Definitely not ground turkey...I saw the post about salmonella.

I forgot to mention that turkey is super high in protein...higher than beef and more easily digestable. At least, that's what the family doctor led us to believe when my grandmother was in cancer treatment. I find it's a nice change from chicken or beef every once and awhile...and it's becoming more readily available in the stores. I found it in our WalMart Superstore a bunch of different ways by Prime...and very reasonable priced.

Of course, there's always the option of cooking off a whole turkey and freezing portions. But seriously, who has time for that kind of thing???

Good job Bellamack!! I love seeing the number go down..even if its just a pound!

Yah i agree with Cutencurls...its got to be water retention from doing a strength class..cause i know that when i do weights..im up like 3 pounds the next day..so its prob water retention..

Oh my freaking LAWD.. i feel sooooooooo miserably ill... this is worse that the first time i cheated..I dont really crave anything but man maybe its because my stomach is just turning and turning and turning...and im so achy everywhere...i have no idea how im going to get through my day...i might actually have to drink a coffee..which i NEVER do.. and so light in the head..fuzzy...:S

How about a vanilla pudding frozen with some cinnamon? Tastes a little like icing to me!!!

Here's an idea (I just did this myself) - go closet shopping. I just put on my 8s - BAM! And even a few (bigger) 6s! My arm tone looks good! My bras are all too big (boo). I put on a little blue dress and it looked great! I tried on a bikini from a while ago and it fit (not saying I would wear it anywhere but I got that puppy on). I took a few pics with my camera - I took some time to pat myself on the back for the things I liked - the positive changes I see and then I took a minute to note the areas that I would most like to see change (in particular, the love handles and saddle bags). Then I thought about how quickly I have come so far on IP and how IP will help me get those other areas. If all this has happened in 1 month, imagine where you will be in another week or another month! WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than any donut!

I am feeling a slight sense of accomplishment and might try to share a pic if I can get my act together!

Checking in . Week #4 and down 2lbs for a total of 18.2 so far. My inches were higher than lbs this week (3.75) so happy about that. The weekend is going to be a challenge since I order my food from ideal to go and the order I made last Tuesday is not here and I am out of packets . Coach gave me some advice to get through the weekend and I hope my stuff gets here soon. The tracking said it was in Iowa Tuesday and may be delayed due to adverse weather, no updates since ugg. I will make the best of it but hope it doesn't slow me down.
Ate out for the first time this last week since starting the program and I just ordered a tossed salad with a grilled chicken breast and it worked great. The waitress caught on a said I will not even bring you bread or offer dessert then, I was thankful for that . Well, hope you all have a great weekend!!
