Holy crap you have a Jeckyll and you didn't ride it? Shame on you, depending on the model those are fricken spendy.

The only reason I have a Specialized CompPro is because I won it in a contest last year that my wife nominated me for.
Great thing is, it was the "Whole New You" contest, and now I am using it exactly for that, to help build me a whole new you

Oh I love that!! A whole new you =) You should resubmit photos of you on your bike when you have hit goal and I bet they will give you a whole new you wardrobe and some publicity for becoming super healthy!!

The only reason I have mine is because it was on consignment in a local bike store years ago when I was in grad school but had sold my condo and had a little cash - I treated myself to a new fancy bike and a few other things - I had visions of becoming a hard core mountain biker. Not so much. She is a beauty though!

Do you have an Ibert or trailer for Alex?

No I haven't picked one up yet, I am still looking at buying a bike for the wife so we can all get out and ride together as a family.
But I am waiting until I get my cardio up a little more first.
I don't want to be stuck out in the heat somewhere 5 miles from home and be too tired to ride home lol.
But then again he is only 5 months old this week, so he is still a little young, and he really enjoys his walks with his mother in the stroller, so I wouldn't want to take that away from her just yet.
We might be looking at next riding season before I get out the trailer.
Unless you have an extra one you are looking to unload

Ha! We have not invested in one yet either (being that the bikes just got taken out of storage!). I looked at doing an Ibert + trailer, but can you imagine how strong I would need to be? My husband works long hours and I am always looking for ways to be active with 3 kids . . . there's no such thing as a 3 kid bike trailer so then I looked @ the Ibert . . . then I chickened out and decided we'd be better off with a trailer each - one could tow 2 kids, the other 1 kid and stuff. I could ride with the baby if the bigs were in preschool . . . I might spring for one but since I still haven't ridden it all this ambition is quite premature!

Well if you decide you just hate it you let me know.
I would be more than happy to help you take a loss on your Jeckyll for my wife

I still can't decide what to get her, but I think I still have time, it's amazing how much time I have spent looking at stuff without her for her lol.

It used to be the other way around for me, I was always looking for the ex now when he wasn't around. Now I just look for me and dream, one day I will have someone buying stuff and looking for stuff for me...haha...its always nice to get surprises from the one you are with when they least expect it!

In the meantime, I think it's pretty fun to "surprise" yourself with little presents, too! Some of my favorite things I have bought for myself haha!

LOL I literally laughed out loud on that. Trying to sit here and eat my veg like a good boy.
Had celery, radishes and cucumber today.
Then my typical cappuccino... just sent in my order request to the clinic for next week... umm 14 cappuccino plus my restricted, gee big surprise there.

I thought you were going to try and stay off the scale?
You didn't even make it a day. When you are feeling bad and you aren't eating like you should you can't expect to drop weight in a day.
You doubled up last night on your meals because of skipping eating, that's not good for the process.
You have to space out your meals, your body needs to consume the right things at the right time to avoid losing muscle instead of fat.
Where is the optimistic woman from 3 weeks ago?
It's almost like you and Coliep changed places from last week.
Not meant to be mean to either of you, but Coliep has been way more positive and you seem to have been beating yourself up lately.
Cheer up, we are here.
Stop weighing yourself so much, it will help in the end trust me and Wuv on that.

Every time you feel like giving up or cheating just look over at that little girl of yours and remember that you want to see her get married, meet her children, be a grandmother for a long time.
Whatever it takes to get you motivated, I am pushing my luck waiting until I was almost 40.... you have a headstart take advantage of it.
I missed out on a lot of my 18 year old son's teenage years because I was too out of shape to do stuff with him.
