L, Hope all is good.
Laura, Glad to hear you're on the mend. I sometimes wonder what I'd do if I got an injury that kept me from my walks? They really are my stress releaser!
4 rural miles with a friend today.

Well girls.....looks like I'm out for a while.
I've been having, what I THOUGHT, were asthma issues for the past month. I continued to run anyway, but ended up hurting my lungs more.

Went to the pulmonologist last night, and it turns out I have a partially collapsed right lung, pleuresy, and I'm at the tail end of some kind of virus. So the doc doesn't want me running for the next two weeks.

I don't know if I'll be able to finish my 35 miles for the month
I'm at 12.5/35 as of right now. I am still proud of my effort so far, I have worked really hard, and I cried so much about this. Hopefully I'll be better soon and back on the treadmill.

So osorry Fluffy Girl!

I would ask if you can walk. It is a totaly doable amount to finish it is somethng like 1.5 miles a day until the end of the month...I mean you have to walk anyway right? don't give up you can do this! if you can walk it will keep you moving for when you can run again

Lovnmom, I am totally fine, just one of those days that never seem to end. it happens for me durring auction season. i run auctions for schools and I do consulting as well, the company that "runs" the website for tech support is on the westcost so it can make for some late nights.

Anyway, I was teatherd to my computer today. long walk tomorrow before i even turn the damn thing on!

Fluffy, I too was wondering if walking would work for you? Either way, GET WELL SOON!!!

I did 1.7 on the elliptical and 1 mile walking... trying to take it easy so I don't injure myself again.
