I had gotten sick last week and did not run for a few days, so I will be doing atleast 1 or 2 more days of Week 4 this week. I did the elyptical and felt really good today, so I think I am ready to start jogging again tomorow.

Thanks Bacos! I forgot I've stopped drinking pop as well as starting C25K... I didn't think about that until I read your comment.

It wasn't until I saw your response that I realized how full of typos I was with that sentance... But yes! We like our talking. I don't mind, though!

I've also realized that there's a thread floating around on here that has 520 posts and it's still alive and well... So maybe we're safe for now! Maybe...

Jeanies - 30 min, that is great!

shortstuff17 - sounds like you are a runner! You did great.

I redid the last day of W4 today, I was not sure how I would feel since I had not jogged in 5 days, but I felt great. I even stretched the last 5 min run into 10 min, just because I could! I am amazed at the difference from just a few weeks ago.

envelope, that is AWESOME!!! I can't wait to be able to run 10 minutes!

Week 2 Day 1 in the bag! So stinking humid this morning, I was drenched by the time I got home! Did all the runs, felt good (except for the gigantic stretch of dodging goose poop around the pond on my route! )

I have a feeling this week is going to be pretty great!

Are y'all doing any cross-training? I work out 3 other days doing cardio (elliptical intervals and/or bike) and free weights. I really think that, plus the fact that I used to work out a lot, is totally helping my quick recovery and endurance building on the runs! Only on week 2, but I'm starting to actually enjoy this now that I know I'm not going to drop dead in the middle of it!!!

I woke up this morning pregnant!!! Just kidding! I woke up feeling really crampy, bloated and up a pound (not sure why; my TOM isn't for another week and usually PMS kicks in about 2 or 3 days before). However, I still did W5D1 today (finally)!! Made it through. I did have to take a three second pause during the last five minute run. But I did it! I'm not sure yet but I may repeat this day.

Whew! I got back from a 30 minute run a little bit ago... Let me just say, I don't really reccommend taking four days off of exercising. I only ran once last week... What a slacker! But I made myself get out there and do it today. It really wasn't terrible or anything, it just seemed harder than last time. Go figure!

We passed the 500 post mark! And we're still here! I don't mind.

Completed W5D1 again today. I think I'm going to stretch Week 5 out a little bit. I'm going to do Day1 three times and then Day2 three times.

It was feeling a little cooler out today which was such a relief! Unfortunately I had a blister on the heel of my foot, which was really distracting during my run! Oh well.

Keep up the good work ladies!

Finally started Week 4 today. I am amazed at how relatively easy it was. I made an effort to be rested and super hydrated, drank so much water today, but it really help me. The last 5-min run was tough as usual but I did it!!!

Funny that after dreading the 3-min run on the previous week, now this part become the "easy" one and I was actually looking forward to the 3-mins runs!!
I'll probably repeat this week for a few more day to build up my endurance, but boy, does it feel good conquering W4D1!!!
Good job everyone!!!

You will be doing 10 minutes in a few weeks! I can not believe I am able to do it, but it is so exciting. I do not necessarily like jogging yet, but I do like seeing how much further I can go and I like challenging myself.

Besides jogging I also do the elyptical. This winter I may start riding my husbands indoor bike, but I really like using the elyptical, so it is my go to work out.

Great job on W5D1!

ninepaw
Look at you run! I enjoy reading your post and am impressed with your 30 min running.

LauraLoooo I loved it when I went out this morning and it was actually a bit chilly! I like it when it is cooler, or atleast for jogging I like it when it is cooler.

caribbeangirl02 Being super hydrated is really effects my jogging too, although I have to be careful so that I do not have to pee while jogging...it is too much of a distraction!

hiswifeylee09
Let us know how it goes! It is amazing how much easier it gets once you get started.

Rochester Congratulaions on W9D1! You did it!!!
