W2D1 never happened. I spent all afternoon and evening throwing up. Turns out my tomato juice was expired. Who'd a thunk it.

I'm going to repeat W1 and do W2 next week.

Hi everyone!! I'd really love to join in over here. I started c25k on 6/30 and am on w5d2. I'm hoping to tackle w5d3 on Sunday.

This is the longest I've ever gone on c25k without dropping out, and I'm proud of myself.

Ok. Life totally got in the way last night. Brutal day at work, long night at school plus happy and sad family news... new niece will likely be born today and my aunt's breast cancer is far more advanced than first thought...

With all that, I didn't make it for my W5D3 challenge...

Tonight is my strength day so I'll try again tomorrow night after my wedding dress fitting.

My husbands knees are killing him, so he is going to stick to the elyptical and I am on my own. I like having someone there to help keep me motivated, but in a way I like doing it myself, because I am able to move on quicker if I want to. Like today I felt like doing C25K even though it was a rest day, so instead of hopping on the elyptical, I went out and did W2 D3 and I loved it. I am excited to do W3D1 on Friday.

The very best part of today came at the end when I realized it was the first time since I started that the muscle in front of my calf did not get extremely sore!

W2D2 completed yesterday yay! I'm still having really severe calf cramps after/during any work out, so I"m really not looking forward to W3 with the three minute runs. I'm actually not sure I'll be able to do them until I get this calf cramping under control, and I want to move through W3 more than anything.

W2D3 tomorrow

Last week I only got to do C25K twice, so I'm redoing W4. Did D1 on Monday and D2 today, but I think I'll repeat W4 (again) next week. I'm not struggling, but I just don't feel ready to move to week 5. I think it's because I'm afraid of the 8 minute run. In better news, I realize my breathing (while running) has improved tons! Yippee!

Hi everyone, a little frustrated because I couldn't do my run tonight. It was raining heavily down here so I had to postpone it for tomorrow. I might decide to do it in the morning since we pretty much have rain announced every day for the rest of the week (we typically have afternoon & early evening storms throughout the summer).

I'll try again tomorrow. Hope you are all doing well.

W7D2. I DID IT! 2 1/2 miles! It was a fantastic run (despite the 91% humidity).

Nike+ - Distance: 2.5 miles. Time: 31.41. Pace: 12.40.

For those of you on earlier weeks, keep running and keep believing. I'm astonished that I've made it this far, but C25K really works.

Rochester, I am thoroughly impressed. Great job!

I'm off to do W3D2. My children are helping me by fighting. Sometimes that irritation gives me an extra push to get a good workout in.

I woke up this morning and wanted to see if I could do W3D1, and I did it! I had a slight irritation in my right front calf, but nothing compared to the earlier weeks.

Rochester - 2.5 miles!!! That is inspiring.

I've only ever paid so much attention to all those articles about what you should eat and when you should eat it for running... I made sure I ate a healthy breakfast and kind of left it at that, figuring it wouldn't be that big a deal. I could not have been more wrong. Last week I was having the weirdest time with week 7 -- some days I could hit the 25 minutes no problem and other days I would cramp up at 14 or 18 minutes and just not be able to continue. There was such a disparity that I thought about it, and figured out the bad runs always happened right after dinner. WHOOPS. I had read that you shouldn't eat right before a run, but I didn't realize what a difference it would make! But I have seen the error of my ways, I will now always leave at least two hours between eating and running. Anyway I ended up repeating week 7 and just finished it up today! I'm a little nervous about week 8 though.

Finished Week 5 Day 3 while on vacation Tuesday! Best part was I got to soak in the hotel whirlpool afterward.. Week 6 Day 1 tomorrow looks like this week actually starts out somewhat easier.

Talking Week 3/Day 2 completed!

Wao, I am so impressed with all of you. Specially those doing the most advanced weeks, you are truly my motivation to keep believing I can go to the end, although I must confess that at the moment, I don't see how I will be able to run for 20 minutes straight??!!!
I guess better to take it one day at a time, right? After all I had the same feeling about week 3. So happy to report that I finish W3D2 tonight.
I might need to repeat week 3 a second time, it depends on how I feel in a couple of days.
Congrats to everyone on your amazing progress!!

CarribeanGirl, the 20 minute run at the end of week 5 is probably the run that's most dreaded among the C25K doers, I know I dreaded it! But when the time came for me to do it, I made it through and it felt AMAZING! It's really not as bad as it sounds - You just have to find your stride and enjoy the ride.

I ran W9D2 this evening, and it was a great run! Like... Really great! I just felt really good when it was over. Checking out mapmyrun, I made it 2.18 miles in the 30 minute run! 2.6 miles in the whole 40 minute workout! Super great. Super! SUPER!

I seriously can't believe that I'm going to be a graduate of this program on Saturday! It's been one crazy ride, I'll tell you what! Though I'm still not running a race until September. But whatever! Still super proud of myself for really following through with this. So freaking proud!

Good job to EVERYONE who has made it past w1d1 and not dropped out!

I just did w5d3 for the second time and slogged through it. I took two days off from running (and I work out twice a day, so two days off is a lot for me) and I really regret it. I think I'll do a mile run tomorrow morning and then tackle d3 on Saturday. I'm sorta looking forward to it!!

The one thing I'm STILL having trouble with is finding a good C25k podcast. Ullrey is boring, Go Nicole Yourself has really crude and vulgar lyrics, and Chubby Jones (Mia) has too much interruption and timing countdowns, which I find to be distracting. I hope to eventually find something that works for me...

Anyway, sorry for writing a book!
