Hi everyone! So, I didn't make it to the gym tonight. I seriously have every intention of going, but didn't. What I did do, was some yard work. Then I took the dogs for a brisk walk. I even jogged for a little bit. Me. Jogged! I have a bad knee, so I'll know tomorrow if that was a good idea, or not!

Tomorrow I won't have time to go to the gym, so I WILL get up and do a watp dvd before work.

Ok, now I need to check out the challenge! And make a grocery list...that's what I'm really supposed to be doing right now....

I have a confession....I'm a poser.

Today's plan:
1) Every single calorie gets logged onto my spreadsheet. Today's calorie goal is 1600.
2) I will walk for one hour today...with or without Hubby.
3) I will be in bed by 11:00. My body/mind just doesn't function well on too little sleep.
I'm a card carrying member of that poser group. I also had that same revelation the other night. I was looking at my siggy and noticed I only had two days left to get in 125 minutes of exercise to meet my April goal. I got 60 minutes of SS cardio last night and am going to shoot for the other 65 shortly after dinner. Every calorie gets tracked here, no problems with that one. I am having a hard time getting to bed early enough but I think things might change a bit around here so I can sleep in a little longer in the mornings. More about that later.

QOTD: What would your Biggest Loser goal shirt say? I have thought about this many times and I still don't now what it should say. I'll ponder it tonight while on the treadmill.

We had mid 70's here and now are lucky to have highs in the 50's. You don't realize how cold 30* nights are until you shut your furnace down for the year. I've been baking up a storm stocking the freezer to keep the house warm.

I've had it here. Who ever it was that likes preschoolers can come pick up two. PM for directions, lol.

Bedtimes here used to be so peaceful. 8:00 would roll around and they would hop in bed and listen to a story or three and go straight to sleep. Then the time change happened. It threw us off for two weeks but we got right back to the 8:00 bedtime. This last week has been a nightmare. It has been at least 9:30 every night before they fall asleep. DS would probably sleep but DD keeps bothering him. They are just over 3.5yrs old and still share a room. I don't really want to give up my office but I think it'll probably happen soon. In the meantime, since we don't really have anywhere to go I am just going to change their bedtime. If they don't want to sleep until 9:30 then bedtime will be at 9pm. They can sleep until 9am which means I can have more time for ME in the mornings. Maybe I'll actually get a morning workout in again.

Michelle - I just want to say thanks so much for all the work you are putting into this challenge. I imagine it is taking a lot of your time and effort and I just want to tell you that I really REALLY appreciate all you are doing.

I showed dh my eating schedule (like what times I should eat, ya, I'm a weird list planner, lol). And then he wrote out his schedule for when he's gone. And it said "Try to eat most days" LoL!! When he's underway or deployed..he never has time to eat. He works all the time, and will usually pick sleeping over eating. Then he put the post it on his computer so I can feel sorry for him, lol. He's funny.

Oh ya..I'm having a really hard time right now. Fonzo (dh) came home and made himself a cheese crisp, and now I want one. I already ate my lunch and my snack..and all I keep thinking about is that freakin cheese crisp. I want one sooooooo bad. Then to make things worse...I'm gonna eat my dinner in 2 more hours. But he's gonna eat his dinner after we get paid tonight. He's gonna get Subway, and I'm gonna get myself a 6 inch for tomorrow's lunch. But ugh..I'll want to it when he eats his sub tonight. I dont know what to do!!!!

Stay on your plan sweetie! You can do it! You'll feel so good if tomorrow you take that 6 inch for lunch and you passed on the cheese crisp. It's not FOREVER, just for today. You don't need it TODAY!

YOU CAN DO IT!

I did really really good today on my eating. I think what everyone had told me stuck in my head one way or another. I ate 2 eggs for breakfast with about a cup of white rice (I'm half japanese and grew up on rice, ate it everyday of my life so it really won't bother my weight gain) with alittle ketchup. No snacks due to somethings that are extremely bothering me and just don't have an appetite due to this type of stress. Ate my famous Mexican Chicken Tortilla Soup (without the tortillas) this soup is extremely healthy. Nothing but veggies and chicken. So easy to make. Didn't eat any snacks again due to the stress and it's already almost time for dinner. I am so proud of myself. Woo Hoo.

Thanks, Chellez

I would have had a rough time making that first goal too. You're awesome.

Thanks to all those who commented on my intro. I would certainly be willing to talk water workouts with whoever is interested.

By the way, I'm SO very jealous of all the pets that were posted. They're adorable! Thanks for sharing!

What is your Just Beachy Challenge goal?

I would love to be in ONEderland when the challenge ends. I'm not seeing the scale moving this week, and really it only went down 1# last week.. I have been OP every day, but keep trying to add a bit more exercise here and there.... I'm not sure if the exercise is doing it (maybe building muscles??), or I have thought off and on for years that I have PCOS, I have pretty much every symptom, but have never had a dr diagnose me with it.. so maybe that could be my problem. I have only been at this a little over a month, you wouldn't think I'd hit a plateau yet. I'm gonna give it a few more weeks and if the weight is still sitting here I will be going to see my girly doc and have a serious talk with him.

Chellez - Just wanted to say the Beach Hoppin' exercise challenge is a great idea! And thanks for posting a closer beach I can do 33 minutes a day, but might have felt a bit overwhelmed with over an hour each day.

Well...the good thing about having to catch up--it keeps me out of trouble.

QOTD--What would your Biggest Loser goal shirt say? Like zinkemom I'm not sure. I need to think a bit more about that one.

Dee--I think I might switch my gym too. Right now I have Bally's but I never go. They don't offer enough classes or enough variety. Besides Gold's is so much closer to me. I'm sure they will have some great deals going on this spring and summer. Fortunate for me I don't care what anyone thinks at the gym. I get into my own world and do what I need to do. My job has some options too so I have to make some decisions. I've also been talking about doing bootcamp for months now which of course is outdoors.

Nori--Great news about your nephew!

Jennifer--My boss is going to that exact race in Richmond. I am so jealous!

Jennifer & freemo6--I like Dale Jr too. I also like Elliott Sadler maybe just because he is from VA. Jimmie Johnson & Jeff Gordon--no thank you !

I am doing really well despite being really busy. I feel like I don't even have time to breath. If I had kids I would be pulling my hair out and running down the street butt naked. I can barely take care of myself right now let alone be responsible for anyone else. Still binge free ! Today is day 37.

Thanks for the exercise challenge Chelle. I really need that right now. It's gotten so bad I've started a "Reluctant Exercisers Thread" under misc support groups.
