Shoudnt I be hurting? But when I think about it my legs dont hurt after I run. That makes me think that I am not getting a good work out. HELP!!!!
You ladies are rocking!!!! Keep up the good work!

Heathmc- Her name is kari layne...she is so cute. Dry sockets hurt so bad!!! I am sorry~!
Diva- I have the same issue!!! We need Beano! LOL
Michie- You are doing so well! You could be gaining 1 pound so think about it that way! Better slowly then none at all!!!! It will come off!

Good night ladies......I think we will win this week!!!!

Hey gang! I will most certainly post the recipe for the Beef Stew and mashed potatoes (yep, I ate them togeter) AND, the recipe for the chocolate fudge covered brownies that I made tonight. All the recipes came from the latest Weight Watchers magazine. It's the first time I've ever made anything using the recipes from that magazine and I can tell you it won't be the last....

The weigh-ins are looking GREAT ladies!!!! Looks like it'll be a great week!

For now, I must go to bed. The hubby (and kids) and I have been out ALL DAY long!!

See you for the results tomorrow!

I did Day 1 Week 1 C25K yesterday, I felt GREAT! I also stayed right on track with point, I can't go over my 26 points for the week becuase I drank a little (lot) on Satuarday, so I am going to drink my water, work out and try and offset that, I know I didn't go over my 35 flex points so I should be good to go!

Amy0505- wow 6 pounds!! I am sorry your sick, hopefully you get better soon!!

Michie- DO NOT feel bad about a pound!! A pound is great!! You said you were not getting all your food in, maybe you are not eating enough? I know some people will have a splurge meal to try and break a plateau becuase your body gets to used to dieting, you almost have to trick it.

rainlips- you don't really want your muscles to hurt, just more fatigued I would say. If you work your muscles until they hurt or you will have a hard time working out for a few days.

Caitbeans-Great job on starting the Couch to 5k, running can be very addictive so watch out!

Julz-Thank you, Thank you...I can't wait for all these recipes. I love trying new things.

Rainlips-keep up the good work! I don't think your muscles should hurt. Maybe burn a lil but not hurt, because if they are hurting right after a workout, I'd bet they'd be really sore the next day to the point where you wouldn't be able to work out. I love the name Kari Layne, all these cute baby names....makes me want to have another...ok not really, maybe just hold one

Michie-I do the TBL power scuplt dvd too! I love it, not hard work, but I can feel it working! Thanks for explaining Wicked to me...here in NE we live sheltered lives. I'll have to check out the book. My hubby is wanting to take a trip to SD, he's a huge Padres fan...maybe someday!

Manda-I hear tattoos are very addictive, once you get one you'll be wanting another. Heck I've already got my next one picked out....kinda. I decided when I make it to goal weight(38-48lbs) I'm gonna get a mermaid on my lower stomach (if I get it toned up a bit).

Roni-Why do things that are sooo good for us cause such discomfort? Great job on getting your veggies in!

HeatherMC-ohhhhh honey I feel for you! Dry sockets and having to eat mushy food. I don't think I could handle it. Dry sockets ok I could prolly do that with some complaining, but mushy food makes me gag. Some stuff I'm ok with like mashed potatoes, but squash or pureed peas no way! Hang in there, its gotta get better!

hope4me-did you get your veggies and your workout in?

ceegee-well if we can't exercise at the same time maybe we can just keep each other accountable.

soul-Thanks for setting up this challenge...I think it will be fun! So when does it officially start or has it already and how long does it last? Do we just post what we ate and keep a running total of pts til the end of the challenge?

Ok, so getting ready for the out of the box challenge I went to the new Hyvee that opened up here. They've got such a great selection of fruits and veggies, not to mention they health food section! But I have one question....I was checking out the cauliflower they have not only white, but purple, orange and green...is there a difference?

Ok well i best get moving....I want to run this morning before my busy day begins. Gotta take DD to gramma's and then I get a crown put on at noon, and bowling tonight so we'll talk to ya in the am! Have a great op day...Eat all your fruits and veggies!

WTg on joining the GYM! That's awesome!

I'm gonna repost this from mel on the red team for anyone who wants to join us tonight while we watch TBL.

Last chance workout for during the show!! You can either:

1) workout while you watch the show in a matter of your choosing

and/or

2)
a - do as many squats as you can for an entire commercial break

then
b - shoulder press for as long as you can during a commercial break

then
c - plank pose for as long as you can hold it during a commercial break!

And then make sure you come tell your team how great you did!! Good luck!
I did really well yesterday with the fruits and veggies ...maybe even a lil' overboard as I totally paid for it. Had gas BIG time and so much for seducing my man last night, farting isn't exactly 'sexy", LOL! O'well....

I stayed OP, exercised and my calories were 1516. Great day. I hope for a nudder one today as well. I have noticed if I eat blow 1500 I don't lose. How weird is that? Anywho, i gotta go get ready and get in the mind set to go workout @ the GYM. It's cold out and all I really wanna do is saty in my warm and cozy house and watch soap operas, lol!

I just don't have the time for a gym membership. Which is why I walk as much as I can. Instead of taking two busses to work, I just take one and walk 20 minutes instead of taking the other. It works out to about 4 km (or 3 miles) per day.

awesome idea for during the show tonight... i'm totally going to do it... but alternate between squats and sit ups

and the only reason i actually caved and joined is because i've hit a plateau from just walking at home... leslie sansone got me to LIKE working out... so now that i enjoy it and don't feel like it's a chore to go to the gym... i'll use it... i just have to remember to put my gym stuff in the car in the mornings so i can go right after work... but at least with my BF living with me now, he can push me off the couch to go... and when he finally gets a job... we will be going together (he went with me to sign up and was like.. i'm so going to join when i have money... we shall see if he does it)

Hey Black Team!

I'm sorry I totally didn't get around to making ChickiChicki a banner last week for being Biggest Loser....

I'm making some banners after lunch so I'll make sure I make her one for Week 4.

WOW! You guys have been chattin' it up this weekend! It's great!!

I was SO PROUD of our team that we lost only 1 member this last week. I think that's AWESOME! I'm so proud of anybody that kept participating!

1 pound losers are AWESOME!! If we all lost just one pound a week we'd win every week. I'm just sure of it. Any loss is fabulous. Just maintaining during a bad week is fabulous. Keeping TOM at bay is fabulous.

I need to be very good this week because I'm having sclerotherapy on Friday morning and won't be able to workout for 3 days. grrrr. Makes me grumpy.

I'm sending happy, healthy, motivated thoughts to all of you!!

Well, I started the 'out of the box' challenge with a fruit smoothie for breakfast plus an added banana, bean/lentil soup and some peaches for lunch. I plan on an apple for snack, and a salad and veggie with dinner.
Looking forward to working out during the show tonight (thanks for the list of ideas Diva)...especially since I didn't get up in time this morning to working out before work.
Our black team did an awesome job this week!!! Wouldn't it be amazing if we could all loose at least one pound next week!!! I had to use another freebie...sorry...I am still up a bit thanks to last week being totally off the charts, and TOM. So, with the veggie/fruit challange, and getting my exercise in, this week will be better!
Have a great rest of the day ladies!

Hi guys. I am so proud that we only lost 1 person this past week. That is really good. I hate losing anybody but one isn't as bad as it has been.

ggmugsy---What is sclerotherapy?

sxulcmnky---Congrats on joining the gym. We just moved and there isn't a YMCA around where we live now so I am looking into joining a gym. Let us know how it goes! Hopefully your bf will join you there soon.

tamaralynn---It is great that you are getting that much walking in a day. Congrats on making the chose to walk rather than taking the other bus.

Diva---Thanks for reposting the exersize challenge thing for when TBL is on tonight. I will be doing the squats and stuff tonight.

Dream710---I wish that there was a place like Hyvee near here. I am going to have to find time to go to the farmers market soon.

Off to do more laundry and unpack some more. Good job this past week everyone!

Helloooooo, Everyone ! !

I've just now caught up with my work e-mails and all the posts on here since last Thursday. Whew....

From what I can remember -

Congrats on the new grandbaby and niece. I remember when my niece was born...19 years ago. She was so cute....now she is a very beautiful young lady, freshman at Eastern Kentucky University. And then there is her younger brother....sophmore in high school and a week away from being turned loose on the roads without having to have a licensed driver with him...he is very excited.

School and Work at the same time...I totally sympathize. When I did my student teaching I worked the 11:00 pm - 7:00 am computer operations shift at the Cincinnati Enquirer and then I was at school from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm. I don't remember much of anything except being very tired.

Am I the only non-runner here?

Plateus blow...I too have been in one for a while, but this too shall pass.

Spaghetti squash - this is what I want to try...and the challenge is a good excuse.

Losing 1 or 2 lbs.....slow and steady, that's the way to keep it off.

And finally RENO....if you would have told me two years ago that I would go to Reno and A) not have any of the free drinks, B) workout in the hotel gym every morning, and C) think the buffet was the best choice to get "healthy" food. I would have laughed. But I am here to report I did just those things AND came home with as much money as I left with.

Gotta go....meeting in 6 min.
