Sorry I havent been around much, I finally got my labtop back from Acer. It "broke" about two months ago, first they just replaced the keyboard, then the mother board, now they replaced the hard drive and put more RAM in- you think they would of just replaced the whole thing, lol. Glad that ordeal is over, the thing didn't even turn on and all the did was put a new keyboard in it?? It is almost like they'd hope I wouldn't notice.

I have been horriable this week with exercising. I havent been since Friday becuase of the weather and becuase of school- it is just way too hectic right now. Hopefully Friday I will get back into the swing, and will try and get there. I had all intentions of going this morning, but the weather was horriable and I couldn't get out of our driveway. ALSO, I just realized I was doing something BAD. I found a new addiction, those french vanilla international delight creamers. I have been using about three of those, daily in my coffee without even thinking of adding up the points. That is three points a day! I went out and bought fat free french vanilla creamer that I am going to keep in my car so I can use that instead. Geeze, I had no idea!

Diva- I had no idea anything was going on in your life- I am sorry you felt ignored here but I don't think that was any one's intention- I don't think any of us really had any idea--we are here to support you!

michie- I look at this challenge the same way you do, so don't think you are alone in that department.

CONGRATS to the entire black team for losing that weight, CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS!!!

As for the QOTD, I am a "Newbie". I signed up for this challenge to get and give support to and from people going through the same things I am.

Hi team. Wow, I haven't logged on in a few days and I've missed quite a bit. I definitely need to participate more than I do now.

I'm not good at doing personals but I will try to do better. Off the top of my head I've really enjoyed posts from ceegee, Julz, losinitin07, Diva, Michie, rainlips, LOTS of you. LOTS and LOTS of you! I really appreciate everybody even if I don't say it. (See . . . this is why I don't do personals . . . because I don't want to miss anybody and I know I did!)

Michie, I love your picture! Everytime I see it I smile because you look like so much fun.

If people need personals to feel supported I will do my best to do personals!

Now . . . can we all start feeling the love???

I'm getting great workouts this week. I switched to listening to music rather than watching TV or a movie. Here's my fave songs for this week:

Let It Whip - Cameo (YES! The Reese's peanut butter commercial song!)
Makes Me Wonder - Maroon 5 (So this is goodbye to my fat butt!)
Tell It To My Heart - Taylor Dane (an oldie)
Got Nothin' Better to Do - LeaAnn Rimes (Nothin' better to do than work out!)
As If - Sara Evans (I picture Brad Pitt's washboard abs in Thelma & Louise!)
U & Ur Hand - Pink (I like the dirty version. Go figure!)

I'd love to hear what other upbeat, kick your fanny, music you guys are listening to when you work out!

Add to the stress of it all? No one has to say "hi" particularly to me. I'm only a "leader" in the sense that I keep up with the weigh-in numbers and every now and then PM people to see if they're okay. Sometimes I might start a challenge or two.... but I don't want anyone to think I sit upon a throne to be bowed down to....although, I do like palm leaves and grapes I do enjoy "leading" a group though, it's fun. But, I'd rather be thought of as just a fellow team member. The Black team hit a really rough spot around this time of the challenge last go round. We came out of it a super-strong team. Sometimes I get the idea that we're kind of thought of as the "red headed step child" a few of the other members of the other teams. BUT, we are ALL here for the common goal of weight loss and weight loss support.

AND, let me once again stress that not everyone HAS to write personals. I do it because I have time to do it (and since I am the "leader" I feel that I should do it). But I just like for all of you to check in with us. If you have time to address a person or two on certain things, please do. If we get excluded in a persons post, we can put on our big girl panties (well... big girl but shrinking panties) and move on, right?!

Yeah. Not sure if that all made sense, but I gave my 2 weeks notice at work tonight! So I am happy! YAY!!!

Hey All!
First, thanks for all the interesting posts. I have never been in a chat before, and though I had signed on to 3FC a few months ago, it wasn't until TBL challenge that I found a place I felt motivated, and a little comfortable participating in. You know, I kept wondering why I would see that people from one team would have posted on a different teams board....and after the past few days posts I understand now (and it had never occurred to me before, quite frankly) that people can get really attached to people they meet in chats....how is that for lack of experience on my part?

I don't know if we have Diva back or not, but how sad for us if she is not. Her posts have been so consistent and supportive that I actually thought for most of the challenge that she was one of the team leaders...so, thank you Diva for all that really wonderful energy.

As for the V-day challenge, I guess I took my freebie day yesterday
Today was good, was OP, didn't get the walking in, ate only fruit after 8pm...

And Congrats to all of us and our combined effort that has rid us collectively of that 245 "person" that LondonJulz mentioned earlier.

QOTD: Newbie or veteran? Why did I sign up for this challenge?

I'm another newbie. I signed up for this challenge to be challenged and meet others out there that has the same struggles. I also want to learn what others have found helpful in their journeys to get healthier.

Music I listen to while working out: Transformers sound track
The songs remind me of battles. My battles are to get healthy, learn what I've been doing wrong, and teaching my children so they know what I didn't.

Rainlips- Congrats on being below 150!

Diva- Please don't quit us! I'm sorry you've been so unhappy. I hope things get better for you. Thanks for starting the 10 day challenge! I know many ladies on here have enjoyed it.

I am glad that we are talking all this out, for the most part.

I think about y'all a lot!

I don't have time for personals but I wont let that keep me from posting anymore!!!

I care about each and every one of you.

I believe in each and every one of you.

I am proud of ALL OF US for contributing in any way to this process!!!

I hope all hurt feelings mend rapidly and no more arise.

I think that Diva is going to stay with us I PMed her and all but begged her to stay with us. She is such a huge part of the team and I know that her posts are always so upbeat and she's so motivating. She had deleted her weigh-in post in the weigh-in thread, but she PMed me asking for her weights so she could put it back on there. So I think she's staying!

Soulbliss - I double and TRIPLE what you say!!!!

AND, in case Diva doesn't get back on here tonight. Tomorrow is the big day to tell us if you reached your V-Day weight goal!

Ha Music, do y'all have a myspace? If so I have my music that motivates me HERE. If not, I LOVE Justin Timberlake, that lil' dude has soul, and is it weird that at 40 i think he's a hottie? LOL! I Love me some Justin. I like the Don'tcha song by them kittycat Dolls, I love all the old 80's and 90's club music, like baby's got back and stuff like that. I even like to throw in some rock, like breaking Benjamin, Buckcherry, Disturbed, Heart, Linkin Park, I LOVE all music except that gansta Rap stuff. I'm glad ggmugsy posted her music and stuff, girl, you always make me smile.

Anywho, How cool is that in 4 weeks we as a team have lost so much?! OMG!

caitbeans, I'm thinking I would have just taken a hammar to my computer and gotten a new one, lol! that's a lot of stuff you replaced. I used to have an HP and that thing used to make me SOOOOOOOOOOO mad. I am loving my little emchine.

Julz, thanks so much for the pm's gf. I get emotional sometimes... Isn't that a song? I hope your babies are feeling beter and I am so glad you gave notcie. I've been mad at your job every since that cc situation. lol!

ceegee, good for you for sticking up for your team.

chickichickibangbang, Thanks for saying I bring wonderful energy. I never noticed that I was thought of in this light. I don't always do personals and sometimes i feel selfish for not doing them, yanno?

Rain, hsmomx2, Soul, Losin, everybody, HUGS . I'm glad all the newbies found this section of 3fc's. It's been the only place I have been able to click the best with too, yanno what I mean? I LOVE the forum as a whole, but there's something about this particular section...

Anyway, things are hard here @ home right now. I've struggled BIG time these last couple of day's even though I've had the best of intentions, somehow my food addiction and depression get the best of me. I'm starting to think I wasted $$ on my new running shoes because I have yet to use them. I wish I could be a more positive force right now, but I don't have it in me. It seems like every time I reach "happy", something ALWAYS happens to knock me right back down, and I just do not have the motivation or energy to exercise or worry about eating right when I am depressed. I don't care. Anywas, I think I will sleep a lot tomorrow...

So glad to see things are on are looking up in here!

Diva: So happy you are still here. I'm sending you some good vibes
and hoping things turn around soon for you. Justin does rock! I saw him in concert last year with Pink. He did an awesome job.

I haven't listened to music in a while during exercise. (Heck, I haven't exercised in a while till this week and the V-Day challenge. ) I usually watch TV, but if I do listen to music it is usually high energy dance music that keeps you pumped.

The eating was good today and a friend came over and we did pilates, the ellipticle, and the stationary bike. That will make 2 days of exercise instead of 5, but I'm happy that I've started to move again.

Is tomorrow part of the challenge or is it over as of the 13th?

Diva- Put those running shoes on your feet. Maybe if you wear them it'll make you want to run... maybe? Or at least it will give you less of an excuse not to run and more motivation to just DO IT!

Soulbliss- Are you getting my pm's or no???

ggmugsy- Thanks! I know I am pretty funny sometimes... :-)

So there's something about Fat Bottomed Girls, Killer Queen and Bicycle Race that really get me in the workout mood! I just love Queen in general... I've also been listening to a lot of Amy Winehouse when I workout. I LOVE her!

I spent another hour doing cardio with weights... I was on a bike tonight and on the treadmill last night. It was great, but man are my legs sore! .........okay I just fell asleep in from of my computer for the second time today so I must retire for the night. 5 am just comes waaaaaaaaaaaay too early! G'Night!
