Diva How could anyone not think Justin was gorgeous. Don't think of your running shoes as wasted money- hun they don't go bad. They will be right there waiting for you the minute you decide it is time to use them! I hope things get better for you at home!

michie I LOOOVE QUEEN!!!!!! Freddy Mercury is just amazing, I don't think anyone has ever or will ever have a voice that could compare to his. I'm so glad there is a fellow Queen lover

As for workout music, some others are "Stonger" by Christina Aguilera, anything by Crossfade...I can't remember..my ipod is being worked out- it went flying off the tredmill at the gym a few weeks ago, thank god for warranties.

Julz, I missed my Valentine goal by 5 lbs, but, I am much closer than I was.
Good for you for givng notice. That credit card deal was bogus!! Your kids are only small for a little while, enjoy it!!

As for music, I agree w Michie, fat bottom girls gets me moving, don't want to be one any more!

Mother, that would be awesome if we could be partners "sort of" for the c25k. This is my 2nd week trying and I keep getting derailed. I think I may carry my "fat bottom" over to the GYM today and get day 2 in and work 3 in Friday or Sat so I can be caught up with you. I really wanna try out my new shoes dang it!

As for the V-day challenge I guess you all see I failed miserably, lol! I lost 2 of the 5 lbs and only stayed OP (on plan) about 4 or 5 of those 10 day's.

Oh, and I LOVE that fat bottoms girl song too! I always said if I ever got my own ranch (a dream), I was gonna name it Fat Bottoms! I wanna lose this weight and shrink in all areas, but I hope I do keep me a little bit of junk in my trunk, because my fella likes some booty, lol! I don't think I have anything to worry about, even @98 LBS back in the day, I had me some T & A going on, hehe.

Happy Valentines Day!

My hubby, of course, got me chocolate! (but they sure are good! ) He's determined to pass me in weight...I say HA!!!! Good luck! I am happy to say that I did meet my Valentines Day goal of 192! I can't even believe it!!!! 180's here I come!!!!!

I posted a new blog about my lame job and the reason for my quitting. So, if you feel so inclined you should go read it!

Okay... we need to start another challenge. I know that SoulBliss mentioned a new one with whole foods/health foods. Soul, if you'd like to start the next one, feel free! Just type out the guidelines and rules, start and end dates, etc. I'm excited to start a new mini-challenge!
After this next challenge, I have one I'd like to try, but I'll wait until after this next one to reveal it.

You all have a FANTASTIC V-DAY! I'll be back on later!

Good Morning Black Team. I also did not do well on the Valentine's Day challenge. I failed miserably. Didn't gain any weight but didn't lose any either. And for some reason I just cannot stay on plan with my foods. I'm hoping when the eliptical gets delivered next week it motivates me some. In the past when I work out and get some exercise it focuses me on my eating and I put more effort into eating the "right" things.

As for music when I work out, I'm old so I like the old classic rock groups and songs - Bob Segar, Lynard Skynard, ZZ Top, Rolling Stones. You get the drift. In fact I play these songs so much and sing along with them that my grandsons know the words to a lot of them and they're only 8. Their parents think I'm a little short of a full load at times. But then when you're a grandparent I think that entitles you to be a little goofy.

Diva - I'm glad you're staying. Believe it or not you do motivate us to try to do better. We need each and every one of us on this team and you are an integral part. Now, get those shoes on your feet and start moving!!!

When is Easter - March 23 or somewhere in that neighborhood? If I've missed this please excuse me, but I think we should try for a bunny hop challenge. Let me know if this is already out there and I'll pretend I never mentioned it. If it's not, do you wanna try for it?

Hope you all have a peaceful Valentine's Day and all your wishes come true. I'll check back in later.

I'm doing an Easter challenge with the gals from the calorie counting section of 3fc's but I am always open to more mini challenges. Anything to keep me motivated and accountable!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

So I guess the challenge is officially over. I didn't really set a weight goal, I just wanted to stick to my eating plan. That went well. The part I didn't meet was the workout part. I wanted 5 days out of 10 and only got 2. Oh well, at least I got started!

SoulBliss: Are you creating our next challenge?

Gotta run and get some things done. Hope you all have a great day!

JULZ! I am LMAO @ your blog about Macy's and that so called raise! I hope you don't go back. I don't think a 2 month job will make a blip on your resume anyways, screw them.

Morning everyone!

Happy Valentines Day to all members of the fabulous black team!

QOTD: I have a little of everything on my ipod. But, I have ALOT of John Mayer/John Mayer Trio. My favs are pretty much all non-radio hits.

Julz - Morning fearless leader!

Vanetta - why do I hear evil in that laughter????? lol!

Minday - I like the dirty version too, lol!

Losinit - Oooh, Daughtry!

Hope - 2 days is great! Now keep moving!!

Diva - welcome back to the fold! Sorry you are feeling so blue. I am wondering if exercise would help??? I know it sounds yucky, but promise me you will put on your new sneakers and just walk for 10 minutes today - that's all you need to start with. Then, if you go for longer, that's a bonus. If you just do your 10 minutes, that's GREAT!! If it's too cold where you are and you don't have a TM, just walk around your house, use stairs, whatever. You can do it!

Michie - I keep finding all these Amy fans! I don't know....I just can't get into her.....I have a hard time separating her wackiness from her music, lol.

I've been wanting Turbo jam for a very long time but every time I get extra cash, I spend it and completely forget, O'well.

I told Matty to meet me @ the Community center today because it's right around the corner from his school, so I have NO choice now. I'm going at 2 pm to do day 2 of week one couch to 5k! He can play games or something while I finish up. Ceegee, I DO feel so good after I exercise and like I am in control of things, so yeah...it's just getting up off my butt and doing it. Thank God the sun is out today. I am so over all this cold, wet, cloudy, dreary winter days! I'm so ready for Spring, and anxious to get my garden started. Matt has Fri & MOn off of school so THANK GOD, I will have 4 worry free day's starting at 2:45 today!!! If I am still alive and not 6 feet under when this kid turns 18, it'll be a miracle.
