Okay, so Amy0505 and I are seriously discussing joining forces and applying to TBL as a team!!! Wish us luck and *please* feel free to offer suggestions as to what we should discuss, try to work out, do, put on the application and video etc.
Yes!!!! I am soo excited to do TBL!!!! I just hope we are unique enough to get picked. I think us joining forces not even knowing one another except through a website is really unique don't you???? LOL
Hi All,
I got 4.5 miles in Saturday morning and I am so sore. But the right shoes make all the difference, I hadn't walked that far since I had the plantar fachitis (pardon the spelling) and I was able to get it done, just had to pause a few times to stretch my foot.
Soul Bliss- I'm with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training, I'm going to walk in the San Diego Marathon on June 1st, and I'm raising money to fight cancer. As a cancer survivor myself I want to fight the disease and also help others with cancer. Next week it's 6 miles!
Also good luck with the Biggest Loser, I would do it myself except I wouldn't be able to get away that long. Especially since I'm going to take a few weeks this summer to do things I love to do.
Caitbeans- Sorry to hear your dog is sick, I hope they can find out what is wrong with him and treat it. I know I love my cats.
Diva- I don't think I can participate in the challenge this time, I just won't be able to get to the computer daily. But I am working on little challenges here myself. and since Lent starts on Wednesday I'm giving up pop for water and increasing my activity, I need to keep to my training schedual.

That is so wonderful. I am a survivor myself. I am glad we are both well!
I also do what I can to support such causes, usually by offering treatments, volunteering or the like. I did AIDS walk this year and will build up to other events soon. For now, I help in other ways.
If I am in town when you are, and you are interested, you can come see me at my office. I'll gift you a post-marathon massage therapy treatment (I work out of an acupuncture office).
Hey All!
So, if there was a biggest gainer I think I would win this week; ha ha ha...but seriously, sorry...I expected a little, but I was pretty much shocked to have gained 6 or 7 lbs...I didn't even change my tracker cause i find it too sad...but it will come off again with the V-Day challenge.
Hotcubanmama - If you, or anyone else, has tips for not eating at night, I would love to hear them. I too am a habitual late night eater and I think it is one of my largest obstacles to breaking the 160 barrier for me.
Caitbeans - I hope that you are able to find a good resolution to your dogs sickness...
Soulbliss/Amy0505 - That would be amazing! I wish only the best luck!
OK here are my goals for the Valentine's Challenge.
1 Minimum of 100 oz water every day. That's only 3 liters, so do-able.
2 Eating completely OP, NO just a bite of this crap that I so tend to do.
3 Exercise every day, 30 minutes at least 8 of the 10 days, but something every day
4 Lose 5 more pounds (along with the SB water weight from last night, to get to 143)
5 Post daily, both to stay accountable and to provide support to my team members!

Well, I had to post a 3.6 lb gain. Sorry team. No excuses. I made BAD choices and didn't exercise. I feel bad today. I have the sniffles and a sore thraot, but I think I am gonna puff my little inhaler and go the Community center anywas. i REALLY wanna get the c25k started, get my in and STOP making excuses. If I end up feeling worse, I'll just have to rethink this and go from there.
Already off to a good start with the food choices. I am loaded up with Cheerios, oatmeal, Fruit, veggies, Chicken, Fish, Whole Wheat bread...and so on.
Good Luck today girlies, I am off to get ready to go get this done. I am dreading it, but I am still gonna do it dang it!
Good Morning Black Team. I'm sorry to report that I had to post a 2#gain. I really don't get it. So this should make sticking to the V-Day challenge that much easier for me. My goals are:
1. post my activity and meals daily;
2. drink at least 64 oz. water daily, preferably more;
3. get all my food in daily;
4. no eating after 8:00 at night; and
5. no BLT's!!! Weigh and measure everything I eat!!!
6. to lose 3 pounds, hopefully more but I'll settle for 3 right now.
Shouldn't be too hard to do that. Just have to get back to basics!!! Good luck everyone. And sorry for the gain.
I'm the only one in the office today so am not sure how much I'll be on here but will check in when I can.

I am so excited to report that I FINALLY lost a pound!!!!!! YAY! I never thought I'd be so excited about one single pound .... but I've just been absolutely STUCK for the past 3 weeks!
SoulBliss and Amy0505 - You could be the Fat Chicks Team! Keep us updated on the progress!
For you who posted gains - don't beat yourselves up over it! I know I've been so frustrated the last 2 weigh-ins because no matter what I did, the scale wouldn't budge (AFTER I had to post a gain!). Finally after 2 weeks, I guess my body has kind of kicked in or something.... I don't know... but it was a good birthday present to be back down.....

well i sucked at my diet this past week for a couple of days... i am hoping that the scale won't be too mean to me tomorrow. If it is, then i'm going to have a pass week. i'm back on plan today and will stick to it good
I hate to say that I might be contributing a gain this week ( have to buy a battery for my scale). I hate to say my heart hasn't really been into the challenge but with some new motivations (i.e. clothes) I'm hoping to finally come around and start kicking butt like I know I could!!
Count me in for the V-day challenge!! My goals are:
1) Start SI6.
2) For the next 10 days, I need to have gone to the gym 5 x.
3) Drink at least 32 oz of water.
4) Not sure how I will go about eating...but for now, just sensibly and NO FAST FOOD!!!
this week's goals for me are to stay on track at least 5 days without going over my calories.... and if i do go over my calories, then still stay under 1600 (i try to stay at 1450/day)
SB and Amy...I'm so excited for you guys!!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and when you get on the show dont forget to throw a shout to your 3FC,TBL fans!!
