thanks for all the thoughts on my dog, they mean a lot. for those who are wondering, we still have no answers but she is looking a lot better, getting around much better. she is gaining weight like crazy from the steriods, but i can live with a fat dog. i called the dog neurologist- they want 165$ for a consultation, which would be doable, but I asked them if they could give us any answers from that, and they said from there they usually do an MRI, which can run up to 3000, which I just can't afford right now. once she is done with her steriods i think we are going to get some panel blood work down to see if that shows us any answers. she is chipper though, she was playing fetch yesterday which she hasn't done in the last week, so hopefully things will be turning around.

NoVa- when in October are you getting married? I am getting married October 11th! What we are doing for tastings is, if Chris (DF) likes the food, then I will try it..he can eat like a cow and still lose 4 pounds in a week (so frusturating). But that is how we are handling it, I am sure we will do the same for cake tastings, i just can't afford all those extra calories. once I get off plan I stay off plan, so I'd rather just stay on. Don't feel bad for worrying about it- I do too!

soulbliss- i have to agree, your menu's sound VERY yummy..

Hun. e. B- I am going to have to try the plank position during the commercial breaks, the longest I have ever made it is about 60 seconds!

Well I see that we lost 9 people but for those are left we will kick some booty You know I posted my weight this week gaining like 3 pounds but now I see other are taking freebie weeks if they gain a pound or two should we be taking a freebie week when gaining this amount so that we don't bring the team totals down? I don't plan on gaining again like this it was just vacation and birthday. Well I am
feeling a little sick with sore throat and feeling like I am going to hack up a lung or something so no exercise for me today and besides I am super tired but I will try to start on the exercise again tomorrow to help get that 3 pounds off before next weigh in.
Well everyone have a great day and hope that all of us not feeling well can kick it soon ......can only hope sooner than later

You know, I am wondering about how people decide to take their "freebie" weeks and posted this earlier:

I've been wondering something...How much weight does one feel they have to had gained before using their "freebie" pass? Is it 1, 2, 3, 4 or more pounds? Why is it THAT number? Just wondering what each person's reasons and limit were.

Personally, I would take a freebie if I ever gained at all, but that's just me. I'd do it to not jeopardize the team's chances of success.

All sorts of things can cause a gain, as we all know, not just being off plan, so there's no judgment here!

Diva, take care and get better!

HotCuban, way to go! No binging, what an accomplishment!

Dea, 2 pounds down in 3 weeks beats 2 pounds UP!!! I say it's a success.

Caitibeans and Chickichicki, Thanks for the comments on my menu...I like good food!

Gotta go, I am off to the gym!!!

Best of luck everyone! Remember you are doing this for you AND the team!

Hi Black Team,
I'm really off on my eating this week, but doing good on exercise. Saturday with the long walk, and Monday 30 minutes on the treadmill. I don't care for the treadmill like I do walking outside, but I'm making myself do it. My training schedual is long walk, 3 timed walks, and cross train or lift the other 3 days. Saturday, I'm supposed to do 6 miles. I' did my long walk in the mall, and will go again on Saturday, the treadmill won't cut it for that distance. Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday so I will eat lightly and no snacking during the day. I'm going to make vegtarian enchiladas with beans and rice and cheese for my main meal along with lettuce.
We are in the middle of a winter storm here, they are predicting a foot or more of snow tonight. It's also blowing so I'm thinking everyone will have a day off tomorrow.
Hope Everyone has a great day tomorrow.
Bette

Soul Bliss- You will dominate on the Biggest Loser next season if they have a chef contest again. Would love to get some of your recipes. I haven't been able to stock up at the grocery store for a couple of weeks so I am running low on super healthy food choices especially veggies. Would love to see you and Amy0505 get on the show. You'd have a huge fan club here.

NoVa - I'd take a small bite of each item and count it as lunch.

Reda355: Don't feel bad about posting your gain. I want our team to win this challenge, but the reality is that I will still need to lose long after this challenge is over. I think what you did (gaining during special occasions) is a natural part of weight loss. It is what life from now on is going to look like: a loss while on plan, and occasionally a gain when we allow for it. I personally feel encouraged when others have the guts to post the good and the bad, because we ALL have both... Just my thoughts on it.

My eating was OP today:

raisen bran w/lowfat milk, banana, & strawberries

homemade lean chili w/ff sour cream and LF string cheese, baked chips/salsa

ham & turkey on pumpernickle w/laughing cow chz, carrots, pineapple, star fruit
hot tea

Now for the exercise...

Morning everyone. We are having tornado warnings and severe weather headed this way in a couple of hours so if I go mia that's what's going on. I'll be all alone too. I hate scary weather.

I am still sick as a dog and taking meds so my c25k will have to wait. I'll restart that bad boy next week. I have asthma so I can't push the sickness situation. Even with my potato chip slip yesterday, I stayed with calorie range, I've been drinking my water and I tell ya the scale is already going back down, so that's kewl.

Anywho, I wanted to check in early in case this weather kills my internet. Have a great day everyone!

Sorry about not getting on here but once yesterday. I forgot that I had to work! I laugh about it now, but I wasn't a happy camper about it yesterday.
We're getting ready to go meet up with Jessie so we have to leave here in about 15 minutes. Then I have to work, yet again, today! (Luckily it'll be just for 5 hours).

Diva - Sounds like a fun day is in store for you! Be careful and stay safe!

V-Day Challenge - Day 2
My Valentine Day Goals:

1) LOSE 4 POUNDS! (working on it!...lost 1 so far!)
2) Drink at the very least 64 oz. of water a day (check!)
3) Stay on my WW points (check! See menu below)
4) Do exactly as my trainer says! (check!)

Breakfast: (I have the same breakfast everyday... I LOVE it!)

Breakfast
3 egg whites/1 whole egg - 3
1 Kashi GOLEAN waffle- .5
1/2 Tsp. "Promise" Butter - .5
1/2 TBSP. syrup- 3

Lunch
4 oz. Chicken Breast 3
Sauteed mushrooms 1

Dinner
Grilled Chicken Chipotle Snack Wrap - (not sure how many points, so I'm gonna guess) - 8

Total Points: 19/28 used.... wow. Well, I stayed under my points, so that's better than going over I suppose.

Good morning everyone.

I can't believe that we lost 9 people this week. Here is to hoping that we don't lose anymore. I know we can all do this!

For everyone having bad weather stay safe. It is headed this way too. I hate had weather. It is scary to me.

Well, I weighed in this morning and I was down another 1.5 lbs. I have lost a total of 70 lbs. I am so proud. I am really happy about losing this week. I really figured that I had gained or stayed the same with the stress from moving.

Keep on keeping on guys. We can all make our goals. I know we can. Good luck everyone!
