I think anybody that's shown losses two weeks in a row should be congratulated!! Whoo-hoo!!!
Our numbers haven't been posted yet this morning (no rush, Julz!!), but from the other team's numbers, it seemed like week 2 was not nearly the blow-out week one was. No biggee . . . just keep going!! I bet if all of us just posted a one pound loss per week we would win the contest.
In the end, that's what separates winners from losers is the ability to keep going even when it gets TOUGH.
WE CAN DO THIS!!!
Big hugs to everyone!!
Also, the emotional tips are AWESOME!! Thanks so much!!
Julz may have had to work early today since she's been out of town, or maybe she's having bad weather. I know she's over in Oklahoma, and looking at the radar it does look messy her way and it's headed for me! YIKES!
Quick sneak in from work! I think a black team challenge is a good idea. Maybe exercise oriented to get everyone moving? We could put some kind of tracking in our sigs, this way we don't have a new thread. Also, if anyone is interested (and I know some of you are already there) there is a walk/run challenge thread each month where everyone sets a mile goal and then logs the miles they have done.
I like the exercise challenge idea, especially since I am awaiting my Jillian DVD's! Also a short term weight loss one would be fun. Like maybe lose 5 lbs before Valentine's day or something and winner gets a prize? I know Hun.e.B did that for the Red team last challenge about 10 days before Turkey day and a lot of us did very well.
I woke up feeling so bloated. TOM is here! But when I got on the scale, I was down another pound, much to my surprise. I suspect by morning tomorrow the water weight will show on the scale. This week will be a fight.
Good luck this week everybody. Maybe an exercise challenge would get me to start moving!
Hi everyone! I have to raise a hand and saw I'm guilty of not posting hardly at all for the first two weeks of our challenge, which is not like me because the last round of the challenge I was definitely chattier. I'm sorry I haven't been able to pop in and post personals - this challenge started in two of the craziest weeks of my life in a long time! The first week of the challenge I was totally consumed with wedding planning - meeting with people, making phone calls, etc. and last week was a little bit more of that, plus having a nasty nasty cold on top of it - not much computer time for me last week because all I wanted to do after getting home from work was sleep. I know these excuses are not good, but I am sorry for missing everyone the past couple of weeks. I am determined now to be more in on the chats!
Congrats on everyone who lost/maintained this week - and any gainers, no worries! It'll come off in no time - I've learned after 9 months all it takes is a little patience and perserverance.
