Diva - I'm so excited about the challenge starting!!!


Worked out with the trainer today. Saturday's are our days for her to measure our body fat %. In the last 2 weeks, my body fat % has dropped 3%! Jessie was SO excited about it (and so was I!!!!). It was nice to know that even though I haven't lost weight per the scale (I'm weighing in on Monday morning this week), my body fat is still going down!

Not much else is going on. I had to work basically all day and now it's time to get the kids down to sleep and work on school work. I'll check in tomorrow (I have a day off again! yay!!)

I am on plan, working out every day and busy as heck. I can't wait to weigh in an see what the numbers tell me.

Hsmomx2, what is "19 aps"? Way to go with the exercise, either way. I pray all goes well with your thyroid. And as far as the weight goes, -.2 is infinitely better than +.2!!!

Morning ladies and gent! I was naughty today and skipped church. I wanted to get some laundry done before we head out of town for the SB. Hubby and I are going with some of his friends to Old Chicago to watch the game. We got a hotel so we won't be back til tomorrow right before I have to go to work. I'm planning on taking some work out clothes so I can still get in my regular Monday workout providing they have a gym.

Soulbliss-Good luck with the weigh in! The tattoo I'm getting is three flowers with lots of shading and scroll work. The center flower is def gonna be hot pink but I'm not sure on the other two yet. I'll include a pic again so you can see.Attachment 28349

Julz-great job on the % of body fat lost. It goes to show that the scale isn't always a good indicator of the progress that we are making. Keep up the good work!

Dea-I hope you're feeling better today. Its that time of year for all the lil bugs going around. Here there are a lot of people coming down with bronchitis, I'm keeping my fingers crossed I don't get it!

Roni- I won't be able to get on the computer tonight or tomorrow morning so I'm gonna post my goals for the challenge now:

1. Stay with in calorie range: 1200-1600calories
2. Drink 64 oz of water
3. Avoid diet pop
4. exercise Mon-Fri

My weightloss goal is 4lbs. When I accomplish this I will almost be out of the 180's, something I've been struggling with since October! Once I make it to the 170's, Maurices here I come!

Exercise Goal 1500 min:
2/3: 30 minutes cardio max 20 minutes pilates

50/1500 MIN
0/40 MILES

Good afternoon ladies! Bot am I ever pooped after yesterday's remodeling and redecorating. We didn't even finish everything we wanted. Therte's just not enuff time in the day. I dunno If I'll be logging on later with 5 loads of clothes to fold and the super bowl, so here are my Valentine's Day challenge goals:

As for Exercise, I said it in an earlier post. I am going to do the c25k & swim .5 to a mile of laps on M,W, and F, and on Tuesday's and Thurs, do 30 minutes of cardio and a Jillian strength training work out.

Instead of a ticker, I am going to post on of these for every pound lost.

BTW, Dream, love the future tattoo and Julz, WTG on the % of body fat dropping! that's awesome. I wonder where I can go and have mine measured?

Hello All! Very excited for our V-day challange. My goals are:

1. Stay on WW core plan for the whole ten days.
2. Exercise every day of the ten days.
3. Not eat anything except fruit after 8pm.
4. I want to break the 160 mark by Valentines day, which means being at 158.

I say that because the 160 has been my "I cannot go further point" for a long time. I think I have some sort of psychological barrier with this number. And since all of my last week's weight loss was due to bronchitis, I think that when I post my weight tomorrow, it is going to be a gain.... so, I really want to be 158 on the February 14th.

Exercise is as follows:
M: 1.5 hrs weight training, Ulimate Frisbee
T: Walk one hour, or jog 30 mins, walk 30mins
W: 1.5 hrs weight training
R: Walk one hour, or jog 30 mins, walk 30mins
F: 1.5 hrs weight training
S/S: Walk one hour, or jog 30 mins, walk 30mins

Thank you Diva for arranging this challenge. So, our we going to just edit our "goal" post with our daily updates? or are we planning on just entering new posts each day?

Just make a new post everyday. Every night after I've eaten all I am going to, or maybe the next day early in the am, I will post my menu of what i ate and my exercise for that day.

I want to be 144 By V-Day. I will stay away from all sweets that are not fruit. No pop. My Exercise will be 2 - 3 miles of walking a day. 30 min on the elliptical 3 days a week, along with the bowflex 3 days a week for 20 min.
Good fat burning to all that are joining! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I'm so excited for the Valentine Day Challenge (the official kick off is tomorrow, right Diva?) I already put it in my siggy, not a ticker, but just a place that I can keep count.

My Valentine Day Goals:
1) LOSE 4 POUNDS!
2) Drink at the very least 64 oz. of water a day
3) Stay on my WW points
4) Do exactly as my trainer says!

I'm really quite nervous about this challenge. I don't have a problem with doing as my trainer says, I really don't have a problem with drinking the water.... it's the keeping on points thing that scares me! So, I NEED this challenge! I have been stuck between 195 and 197 since January 1!!! I get so frustrated thinking I should be in the 180's by now! But, I keep telling myself that at least I haven't given up and at least I'm still pushing for it....


Soulbliss - I think you should GO FOR IT on the TBL application. That would be SO stinkin' awesome to have two 3FC ladies on there! Heck, it might be something that the producers would LOVE too.

Dream710 - I love the tattoo too. I want to get one so bad. That will be one of the rewards for my goal weight mark. I've wanted to get one for a LONG time. I was going to get one when I was in England in 2001, but they didn't have the design I wanted and the people we were staying with didn't have a printer for me to print it to bring it to the tattoo place. I'm glad I didn't get one then though - I want to wait til I'm closer to my goal.

Diva - woohoo... remodeling sounds fun. We used to want to try our hands at flipping houses once upon a time. With the market how it is right now, though - I don't think it'd be very nice to us....lol

I just wrote this whole big long-winded post and my computer froze, here it goes again hopefully in a shorter version.

I gained 1.4 pounds this week, I hate the weeks where you do everything right and still gain. I started on new Birth Control Pills so I am thinking maybe that has something to do with it, and I had a huge bag of pretzles Friday for lunch- so maybe water retention. I stayed on my WW points and ate my flex points- for the VDay challenge I think I am going to stick to just my 26 points and then when it is over have a big day where I eat some of my flex points- maybe that will help with my metabloism.

Yesterday I had a not so good eating day. We went snowboarding, and I ate well there- a turkey wrap and some baked chips- but then I was freezing and got a huge thing of hot chocolate, the whole time I was drinking it I felt like kicking myself- but I just need to warm up and it really did the trick. Snowboarding was a blast yesterday, I had so much fun, I am so sore today though. The condotions were not all that great, it was actually icy so I falling hurt- a lot. When we got home our dog (I dont know if I posted about this but she had a stroke--we think, last Sat. night) was not doing well. We rushed her to doggy ER, her pupils were two totally different sizes, she was breating really fast, panting, shaking like crazy- and after being there for three hours, we got no more answers. He is suspecting Shaker Dog Syndrome, which I don't think it is at all. It is supposed to resport to anti-inflammatorys that our normal vet perscribed last Sat. and if they have SDS then it is supposed to go away after a week of the drugs, which it hasn't. Her refeered us to a dog neurologist, which we are thinking about taking her to. The money isn't an issue, but I just don't know how fixable what she has can be. It has to be some DNA disorder with her Central nervous system, she has no head trauma, nothing. She has a few weird attacks over the past few years (she is only 4) but they would last 5 minutes tops. The one she had last Sat. has affected her whole left side of her body, but she seemed to be adjusting to it fine. Now this, I can't stand to see her like this. I just don't see how it is fixable, so we are trying to decide what the next step should be- if she can be the dog she once was then I am all for it- but I am not all for her suffering. She is all pumped up on valium now and she still won't sleep, so I don't know where to go from here. Anyways, when I got home I did the normal emotion eating binge that I always do and not feel crappy.

Hopefully it will be okay for my VDay challenge that I use my WW weights (I went in on Saturdays) becuase that is what I go by and my scale at home is off by 3-4 pounds.

My goals are:
Drink 96 ounces of water daily
Eat 26 points, no flex or AP's
Exercise by doing something each day:
*MWF go to the gym
* TR of this week make the 615AM step class
*on days where i can't get to the gym atleast walk.

Weight loss goal: 5 pounds

* Work out for 45 min everyday
* No eating after 8-I am a habitual nite binger-hence the fatness
* Be under 28 points a day

Caitbeans, I am soooooooooo sorry about your Doggy. I hope she's gonna be ok. We love our Doggy. He's 2 yrs old and he's like another kid for us. We'd be devasted if something should ever happened to him. Y'all are all in my prayers.

I would like to sign up for the challenge. I have a hard time logging on during the week so my first goal will be ...you guessed it.

1. Log on and update my progress every day of the challenge.
2. Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day.
3. Go to the gym or get some form of exercisse at least 7 of the next 10 days.
4. Lose 5 pounds by Valentines Day.
