This place is called Cherokee Health System's. They have several throughout East TN. Some have Medical Doc's and some only Mental health and some both. The one where I go for the Wellbutrin is strickly mental health (10 minutes away). I go to another office an hour away for all my other needs, and they also have a mental health section, but I've never went to that one. Anyways, I called the Nurse and my doc at the medical one and she called the ***** nurse, and I got the same answer. It seems no one gives a crap that I am going to be 13 days without med's. Not to mention I take 200 mg's a day. Can you say I am totally gonna suffer? I guess I can try and go above their heads tomorrow and I will def call the TNcare peeps (insurance). The ***** nurse kept saying I missed my last appt and I need to be seen before I can get a refill. well freaking DAH! It was snowing my last appt and I called a rescheduled because this Southern girl doesn't drive in snow. They were totally cool about that and told me if I shd run out b4 my appt to call them, so I need and all I get is a BIG hassle. THEY SUCK! I'll go to my appt and I'll tell this effing doctor exactly what i think about this and I will demand a referal to a DIFFERNT facilty altogether AND to be put on a lower dosage because I am SICK of this crap.

Thank you all for your concern too. I already know all this though as I've been on these things for 13 yrs or so...Off and on. I know I have to go off and go on them slowly... I was also a Psychology major once upon a time when I was in college. Maybe someone shd tell that ***** nurse this. So YAY me, I get to argue with these idiots again tomorrow.

Sorry to sound so abbrasive, but I am still pretty ticked off.

Well Roni you have every right to be not just a little ticked off but ALOT ticked off!!!!!!I can't believe they would do this to you around our area it seems like a phone call is all that is needed especially since you are only asking for enough to get you through till your appointment. I have never been on any but my mother and sister both are and a couple of my very good friends are as well and they have never had any issues like this for the last 10+ years. Well hopefully tomorrow will go better with the phone call. You will have to keep us informed
Good night to everyone

I'm sorry you have a headache. I am a HEADACHE. It's a shame in this world when you have to call people and be a major (b)itch to people to get what you need. I called bright & early @ 8 am and asked to speak to the Office manager, when they asked my name I lied and said Dorothy, lol! Where did that come from???? Anywho, I told her what happened and told her my side, and also informed her of my past history with depression and suicidal tendencies (WAY IN THE PAST) and said I WILL be calling the Tenncare peeps and filing a compliant and that if they really expect me to go off 200 mg's of Wellbutrin, cold turkey, if something happens to me, my Husband is already on the phone with our lawyers because they WILL be SUED! She gave me a 10 am appt for toady. A-holes......

I'm gonna tell this man that I want 25 mg's less, and that each month I want 25 less in my prescriptions until I no longer need these anymore. If I feel I can't cope w/out them, I'll make an appt at another office, but they can KMA.

Anywho, so sorry I was a brat yesterday...I'm not called a Diva for nuttin'.

On a Diet note....It amazes me how you can throw in a higher calorie day and STILL lose weight. I went a little higher than normal yesterday because we had a processed foods dinner (gotta love it) and of course I was stressed, so I had a few Hershey's kisses, and this morning, I am down on the scale. Jess laughed at me because when it was cooking in the oven I said, MMMM...that processed food is smelling good!

Hope you all have a better day than I will....sigh....

Roni that is great at least you got someone that would listen to you a bit and understand what you needed to get in right away not waiting 2 weeks. Well they do say that if you do the down calorie and put a day of high calorie in once in a while as long as it is still healthy that it throws your body off and you loose faster. So that is good for you. Hope the day goes ok for you now and good luck at your appointment.
Hello to everyone else out there today

Roni!!!! I'm SO glad that you got an appt for today! It is an absolute shame that it took doing what you had to do to make it happen though. Keep us updated on how it goes!

Seriously Diva... you go girl! That would make me so mad if they tried to do that to me! Of course, I wouldn't get all Diva on them because I'm not fully at the Diva level yet.. maybe you can give me some lessons on it! Ha! So happy you're getting what you need.

rainlips- good to see you!

Sally- Take a nap... that always makes my head feel better. Or complain about it a lot until people want to help you..

I have some stupid meeting to go to today, then I'm driving up to the mountains to sell my car! Woo Hoo! My DBF got a new car, so I am taking his old, but still better car, and I am selling mine to a friend of ours. I might cry. Hope ya'll have a POP, wonderful day! Peace!

Caitbeans---Welcome back. So you ate bad on vacation, just make sure you get back OP now that you are home and you will be fine. Hope you had fun!

Diva---I am glad that you got in to see the doctor. They are jerks. Let us know how it goes.

Sally---I hope that your headache gets better.

Michie---Good luck with the sell of your car. No crying!

My dog is driving me crazy today. He decided to pee in the carpet this morning. He NEVER does that. Don't know what his problem is today. UGH!

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Hey Julz, if people can pick their team again next round - put in a good word for former Black Team members returning home again, eh?

Default Please overlook my typos and bad spelling. :o)

Michie, stick w/me gf, I'll have you all Diva'd out in no time. I wasn't always like this, I blame my bf. He spoiled me in the beginning and created this Diva attitude, lol!

ahill, Since your doggy never does that, there may be a problem. Maybe he has a bladder or urinary track infection. I'm no expert on Doggies, but usually when a kitty does that it's because they are sick, so ya may have to carry him to the vet. Good luck.

Thank you very much everyone for supporting me in my time of a Diva-fit.

I went to my appt and was totally validated in my frustrations over yesterday w/My doc. So that made me feel good. Even he said that after I told the the girl @ the front desk that' I'd be running out before my April 1st appt, she shd have scheduled me sooner, so nee ner nee ner, lol!

Anyway, after he made sure I wasn't doing this out of anger, we decided to slowly ween me off. Wellbutrin only comes in 100 mg pills so he prescribed me 2 different bottles of it per month and told me to go 150 for a while, to 100 to 50 until I am ready to be off all togther. He insisted on prescribing adivan(sp) too, lol! I told him I prolly wouldn't take them, but he said at least they'd be there "just in case". When I went to get the Wellbutrin filled, I told them not to fill the adivan right now lol! They sure like to keep ya pumped up. (JMO)

So it all worked out. I really hate when I have to pitch fits to get my way...seriously.....

Anyways, I hit the GYM afterwards and got in W2D3 of the c25k. I swear everytime I run, my hip on the right side is so sore and feel bruised and swollen. Not sure what's going on, but I am icing it right now. sniff sniff....

I hope you all have a and don't stray too far off your plan, but yanno...enjoy it too. I think we earned it!

Interesting that we finally get to pick our teams next time. I wonder if Chell plans on keeping Black? If not, y'all better get on the red boat wif me!

Michie - Congrats on the new car!

Diva - I'm glad it all worked out for you! One of my favorite kitchen magnets says, "Never underestimate the power of a hissy-fit!!" Sometimes you just gotta cut loose and get mad.

Caitbeans - Welcome back!! I hope you enjoyed your vaca. I'm sure you'll put it together soon.

I hope EVERYBODY out there has a GREAT day!!
