    I got in 50 minutes of walking yesterday (no ex. the day before, though).

    Personal total: 307/593 remaining
  • Angie -- Great job getting to Two-town! Exercise helps!

    harkeyvalley -- Perhaps I should say something about the history of this thread the next time I start it, because I think a lot of people assume that exercise is easy for those of us doing it. I love the idea of counting minutes because of the accountability I get from it! It is still not easy for me to do, though I do admit that it IS becoming a habit and that I LOVE the results! Plus, doing things in general is easier, and that is really nice!

    I got in a nice walk with my mom, then we went to the beach and I GOT IN THE OCEAN and swam and such! I won't count all the water time, but just say 40 min total.

    Group total ~ 13,400 + 50 (angie) + 40 (me) = 13,490 min!

  • whew, 35 min. on elliptical and 35 min. on stationary bike. GROUP TOTAL 13607+70=13677
  • Did a 30 min WATP 2 mile and a 20 min dog walk today for a total of 50 min. Personal goal: 480/720

    Group: 13677 + 50 = 13,727
  • Tonight I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then did 50 minutes of strength training, bringing my total to 625.

    The group total is now 13,727 + 80 = 13,807
  • Got in a 55 minute walk today! EDITED TO ADD: Got in another walk this evening...23 minutes...for a total of 78 minutes today. New totals are:

    Personal Total: 1036 + 78 = 1114/310 - 804 minutes past original goal.


    Group Total: 13,807 + 78 = 13,885
  • Only 40 minutes of aerobic walking for me today.

    Total 1082
    1500 goal - 1082 - 418 still to go

    Group total 13,885 + 80 = 13,965

    Wow what a total we are going to have this month!
  • Hello Ladies: I can't honestly say that I've exercised since I last posted. I did buy the WATP dvd and I watched it. I just wanted you to know that I'm checking in and you all are doing great. I'm hoping to get inspired by you all.

  • Monday - 40 mins treadmill, 20 mins laps with the kids and 20 mins walk to/from work.

    Tuesday - 30 mins treadmill, 20 mins aerobics with the kids and 10 min walk home from work. Raining too hard to walk TO work.

    Personal Goal... 550 - 140 = 410 mins left of August's goal of 1200

    Group Total... 14,005 + 140 = 14,145

    There are some VERY energetic people in here. I could NEVER have done what some of you are doing when I was at the same weight. You guys truly impress me SO much.

  • Made it to Curves for the first time in a long time. Some of those machines have gotten harder since I was last there. Go figure?
