Default A little Late

Okay I am a little late, I see this challenge started like a month ago, but I would love to join. My goal is to make it to my first Mini goal of 220's by New years which is at least 12lbs if not a little more I would be SOOO happy.

Once I make it to Onderland, I set up a reward for myself. I have been wanting this real Coach purse from a new outlet that just opened near me, but it's 125.00. I can't stand to spend that much on a purse, but I love it so much. So I decided when I make it to Onderland I will go get it, if it's not there I am sure I will find one I do like still. Either way I get a nice designer name purse out of it.

I had a bit of a binge afternoon yesterday - someone made Indian peanut rice and I was STARVING - so I had some before dinner. I'm only up 0.2 lbs to 186.6, but whatever.

I actually remembered my lunch today, so I have snacks

I've been slacking a little because of so many end of the semester parties.
I'm off on my cruise tomorrow!
This will be the ultimate test.

Hey ladies! Welcome to all the later joiners we always have room for more

Im currently iffy on if I should count my current weight as accurate considering I have been sick the last day and half and Im down 5lbs! Yes 5lbs! Im not really sure if thats just considered "stomach content" or if I really did lose 5lbs that will stay off. What do you ladies think? Wed I weighed in at at 186 and then yesterday 180.

SW: 193
10/30: 187.5
11/06: 188
11/13: 187
CW: 186/180 (?)
Weightloss to date: 7/13?

Pammy - maybe see what you weigh tomorrow? Sometimes it takes our bodies being sick to just give us a jump, or something.

SW: 190.8
CW: 188.8
GW: 179

(I think I originally said 170, but I'm going to change it to 179 - if I go less, I go less, but I'm going to try and give myself an OBTAINABLE goal here.)

Pammy : part of it is probably due to being sick, but don't think about it too much. Just rejoice at seeing those numbers on the scale and use it as motivation to keep at it!

Stella : *thumbs up* on revising your goal. It's always better to have one that can be achieved without going to too many extremes. But I'm cheering for you to go less anyway. :-)

As for me : Urgh. BAD week. 150.2 last week, 153.8 today! What the ****?!?! Okay, so it's TOM. And I made a batch of oatmeal chocolate chip muffins this week for my family, of which I ended up eating quite a few (in my defense, they were made with applesauce instead of oils or butter). Plus I had a first date with this really great guy and he took me to a simply divine French fusion restaurant, so I kind of cheated on my diet that night... I guess SOME weight gain was to be expected, but 3 and half pounds?! That's just... depressing.

Back on the bandwagon, now. Veggies, veggies, veggies. And kickboxing.

It looks like everyone is doing pretty well this week!

Here's my weigh in for today:

SW: 191 (more like 195, but I refused to believe I had gone up )
CW: 190
GW: 171

I blipped a 189 on the scale yesterday morning, but had a little too much at dinner last night. So I'm hoping it will go back into the 180s tomorrow morning when I weigh.

Thanks Cara

Those muffins sound amazing - I've kind of started to prefer things made with applesauce or yogurt (I use fruit yogurt in my muffins) - they're more moist (grammar?) and it just gives that extra hint of flavor.

I'm pulling for your stargzr!

Stella and Cara- Im hoping it sticks!! I really would love to have lost 5lbs and it stay gone but who knows? Cara dont worry so much about your TOM its gonna be brutal either way you look at it. :/

I have never tried the whole applesauce in recipe thing. I am not a fan of applesauce in the first place and I think its more of a northern staple because my bf eats it with like almost EVERY meal. My mom called him a yankee once and now he calls it "yankee sauce" lol. The thought of it just grosses me out I would rather just eat an apple then pureed baby food you know? I should really give it a try in recipes though.

Hi guys,
I tried to post my progress last week but the entire site was down for me! And then I tried again later that day but it was still down... weird. Anyway, things have been sort of stagnant for me. It was an absurdly busy week at work and when I'm stressed, I eat poorly. Boo. But I got back on track a couple of days ago and I'm heading to hot yoga tonight to give myself a little boost.

I think last time I weighed in I was 171. I am 169 now. Ugggghhhh NYE is so close! I'd better pull up my socks! Haha.

I don't like applesauce either, it kind of grosses me out to eat as well, but you can't really tell when its in baked goods. It just "chemically" takes the place of the butter and oil in fluffing up your muffins. I can't comment on the added taste, though, because when I've used applesauce its been to make apple muffins (with diced apples as well). I know the yogurt really doesn't add flavor.

I use it in my muffins all the time and it doesn't give them an unusual flavour at all. Most people don't even know I use applesauce instead of oil. I'll have to try it with Stella's suggestion of yogurt, though. It's bound to be delicious, much like sour cream is awesome in pound cakes! (back when I used to eat pound cakes, LOL).

I wonder what I was thinking when I originally said this. Oh yeah that is right, I made this goal before I KNEW I was 173 instead of 170. Heh 3 lbs makes a difference. But anywho i will be happy with 158 instead.

I lost 5 pounds so far soooooo 10 pounds to go!
