Star - I HAVE to come on here in the morning. It gets me going and serves as a reminder that I'm not allowed to just sit and eat brownies all day. Probably what I did wrong this weekend
Chlorinated - I don't know if I actually do look toner, but I always FEEL better, and that's what matters
I just had this AMAZING tomato basil soup from Whole Foods - its like 110 calories a cup and it was just so good.
chlorinated - I don't know if I really look better, but I feel better about my body after a particularly good work-out! I plan to run NYE, but I don't have plans to go out. I just usually run Tues/Thurs/Fri. (This will also depend on gym hours.)
stella- I get on in the morning to remind me also! lol May sound silly, but sure works!
One downfall of running at the gym? There are treadmills right next to you that anyone can choose to get on... case in point? I've got 10mins left of my run yesterday and this guy hops on the one next to me. No biggie, right? Except he has enough cologne on to share with every other guy in the gym at the moment!! Yipes! I had to psych myself into continuing to run while breathing in the fumes. Ended my workout early because I couldn't breathe anymore! I asked the gym staff and they said they can't say anything to him. So next time I'll say something... grrr That's my complaint of the day.
So how is everyone doing this Christmas week?!I baked cookies last night AND iced them... didn't have even one taste! Hooray!! Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I have a non-digital scale (not sure what the technical name is) so I never get the .1, .5, etc readings. It really wanted to say 180 this morning, but it wouldn't get on the line, so I'm prolly like 180.5 or 7 or something. Anyhow, I am going to eat really well today and do another run and hope for a 179 tomorrow morning... I can dream, can't I?
I had catfish, chicken nuggets, a brownie batter blizzard and key lime sorbet, so of course, I gained 3 pounds. But I'm still determined to get there by NYE!
I'm going to be foolishly optimistic and say the reason it didn't go down more was the sodium content of the chicken wings. Please, let me dillude myself
I am feeling really good today, despite the fact that I have to work tomorrow. It really feels like a Friday to me, but it's ok since Christmas is Friday!! haha I get to do some gift shopping today after work for the last few things... Then gift wrapping tonight and tomorrow night. I've moved my running around this week so instead of Tues, Thurs, Fri (the gym is closed Christmas day), I went Mon, Tues, and I'll be going tomorrow when I get off work. How are you all keeping to your work-outs this week?? Hopefully well.
Ok then.. it looks like I'm the only one hanging out on here on Christmas Eve. I'm stuck at work until 2 today, then I will be free to go get my last run in for this week (since the gym is closed tomorrow, otherwise yes I would seriously go.. I know I'm crazy )
Anywho, I weighed in today and am able to change my ticker. Hooray! I'll try to remember to come on here tomorrow or this weekend to put in my "official" weight for this week's weigh-in. I hope all of you are doing well through this week and I hope to see a bunch of people reporting in next week - the last stretch of this challenge!!!
Hey everyone!! Sorry I have been absent lately, but I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday!! I gained 0.4 this week, but that's better than thanksgiving week was!! Don't get frustrated ladies, we're almost there!!!
I'm jumping in here so I can keep my hand out of the proverbial cookie jar this Holiday season! There's too many people that bake in my family >:[ Right now I'm at 189-187 (thank you TOM....) and I'd like to be out of the 180s by New Years, so 179, 175, 174 - either way it'll be out of the 180s and that much closer to goal!
Well, I didn't keep my hand out of the cookie jar so to speak, but I did get lower than 175 and I have reached my goal of 172 - the halfway point. I now have 49.8lbs to go until goal!
Thanks for keeping me motivated ladies! (Even though I was quiet I was lurking lol)
