Hey ladies!! My days are getting so hectic with getting ready for my bf and Thanksgiving. I might miss Fridays weigh-in but I will try to if possible. If not I will be back on Tuesday

No worries, Pammy. I'm probably going to miss the Friday weigh-in too. Going on a trip to Toronto with a friend. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the scale : no kickboxing classes and nothing but restaurant food for four days? Eeeep!

cara - Have fun on your trip and good luck with healthy choices!

stella - Hey, that's awesome to be fitting into clothes you haven't worn in a while!! I'm totally with you on the clothes thing. I try not to buy too many things (unless I need it) at this point, because I know that once I reach goal I will need to buy new ones.

I hope everyone's week is going well so far.
Even with Thanksgiving just a couple of days away, I am feeling very confident to have another loss this week. I'm really excited to be losing again and SUPER excited to be running, period. I think I'm down to 188, but I will wait until I hop on the scale tomorrow morning just to see the number again.
How are everyone's plans going?? Anyone going to brave the crowds for Black Friday shopping?

I might brave them Friday afternoon. As is, I'm going to go the gym with my best friend in the morning, then we might go walk around NYC, depending on the weather.

I'm actually kind of worried about this week....I haven't been eating as well as I should, so I'm trying to drink lots of water! I'm gonna try not to overdo it on Thanksgiving, I just hope I haven't already gained anything back!!

Default Weigh In

Today was my weigh in day! I am down to 239.00 Which is good, but I am bad and sneaked. I weighed myself at my mom's the other day and it said 235I knew it was too good to be true lol. I need to stick with one scale, but my SCALE the one I have used from the beginning says 239.00. That means I am down 3lbs this week, YAY!

Question: Anyone notice when they started to lose weight if they were losing it in just one area at first. I do Bob Harpers Weight Loss Yoga Right now. I do all the different body areas, ABS, Upper Body, and Legs. I measure my body every wed too. I haven't lost many inches at all in the middle, but I have lost more in my legs. I started again at 249, exactly down 10lbs in 3.5 weeks, I guess it just takes longer results to see more inches fall off. My Weight has been steadily going down since I revised my eating habits, but my inches don't move as much. Anyone else notice this?

Alright, I keep hopping between 188 and 189, and its obnoxious. Hopefully after I get to the gym (maybe tonight) and this weekend I'll most solidly by at 188 or 187.

Lulu, thanks for the encouraging words Hope your scale won't show any gain

I'm so glad to see that there's so much loss going on in this challenge

And I'm really happy today too as I've lost one more pound, which takes me to a total of 5lb lost It's kind of extra special too, because I joined this forum a month ago today and before I joined my best result was stopping gaining so really it's not too bad

stella- Have fun Friday and I hope you choose the best stores with the fastest lines.

lulu- I hope the scale's nice to you when you step on.

Yay for all the losses!!!

I have to work on Friday, so I won't be able to shop. Hubby is going to go though... since we use that day to buy many Christmas presents for others. then he and I plan to stop by a few select stores later on in the day.

I think I'm still in shock about getting into the 180s as it's been so long since I've seen them. I can't believe the numbers, even though they're there every morning.

Definitely! I always lose first in my upper body and takes a long time to see anything in legs or butt. Everybody has different fat distributions. Your body has a tendency to store fat first in one area and lose it there last. It's just genetics.

I am on call for the ICU all day Friday til Saturday morning, so no shopping for me.

I am struggling big time with the challenge. The hospital I work at just does not have the best cafeteria. Salad is pretty much the only healthy option there and you can only eat from a salad bar so many meals a week. I need to start packing a lunch the day before. Though I actually do get some meal cards - maybe I'll just start using those for breakfast since I can get oatmeal and am always in a hurry in the morning anyway.

Sorry, I just have to let it out... I did terribly well for Thanksgiving dinner today - AMAZINGLY well!! Anyhow, I was really, really looking forward to my run at the gym on the way home. Come to find out, it was closed when we got there (although I don't recall a sign saying it would be closed, so yah...). I was and am so sad. I did my 20mins of elliptical this morning, but I miss my run. I have so much energy built up and it's too bad.

Well, official weigh-in was yesterday and I forgot to enter mine. I'm steady at 186, so that's a loss of 5lbs so far, 15 to go.
How are you all doing?

Ugh I gained this week, but not as much as I thought I would, only 1.4. I'm just a little frustrated because last time I gained just a little, it still took me forever to get it off! I think the problem is that all my friends are back in town from college and they convince to me to go out and drink haha! I love them, but they need to go back to school so I can get back on track!!

Congratulations to everyone who lost this week! That's so awesome for y'all!!

I did really well on Thanksgiving, but yesterday I snacked the day away. So yesterday I was up 0.5lbs, and today I'm up another 0.5lbs so Thanksgiving wins this year with a gain of 1lb for me. Hopefully I'll get it off soon!
