Hi Meka! I was with you in the getting out of the 250-26s last month! Good to see ya. I am in a plateau-teetering between 245-247... TOM water retention i believe.

Yes Tiff I was, glad to see a familiar face. Looks like you will be out of here in no time if just TOM gain. I've never had a serious plateau but I did hang around 286-288 for a couple weeks I was happy to move on.

248.4...makes me nervous being so close to the 250s still.

I've realized I need to make mini-goals for myself because I'm so afraid of failing I don't try hard enough. (Pathetic, I know) Hoping this month to get out of the 240s!

Hello Ladies. I am so excited to be in the 240"s. I started at 265 and was 251 when I found these threads. So I waited to join a group until I was in the 240's. I was stuck at 251 since Monday. I think I have been eating too few calories. I went overboard in counting and was eating 900-1000 calories a day. I had 1300 yesterday and wham lost 2 pounds. I still have 89 to go but its a start.

Ilidawn- Mini goals are great. I am always working to a goal. Once I reach it then on to another. I find working toward the goal more rewarding than actually meeting it. I hope that makes sense. I need to make a mini goal. How about I want to be out of the 140's by the end of the month.

Tiffneedschange- I have read that some people do not bother weighting themselves around TOM because of the ups and downs.

Puffy- The smothies sound great.

Hi Lishar, this is a group for the 240's and it looks like you accidentally put the 140's in your post (sometimes I do that subconsciously).. lol
Welcome to the 240's
I like weighing every day so that I know when I fluctuate and by how much My weight doesn't upset me like it used to since I am doing something about it!

I was 244 this morning, woohoo

I find my self typing 100's instead of 200. Maybe I really don't want to be in the 200's. Know what I mean. I think you are right about subconsciously I want to be in the 140's. LOL. Sorry.

I am 249 again today. So no change. Thats ok since I lost 2 pounds yesterday.

We went to a street fair today. I got myself a henna Tattoo. I usually don't get those but decided with my new eating and exercising I would go for it. Its very cool and goes down our arm. I will see it every time I exercise and remember this is for me.

240.8 this morning- I'm thinking I might have a small whoosh as the water weight from traveling/family visit comes off. Didn't overeat too badly and did exercise, so let's cross our fingers and see what happens.

I'm not sure if I do it subconsciously because I don't want to register that I am in the 200s or because my brain really doesn't acknowledge it! My mom does the same thing, I just thought it was funny to see someone else do it too! CUTE Henna tattoo by the way!

Arggggghhhh! 240.4. I had so wanted to be in the 230s. Calluna, we are SO close! I pushed really hard at the gym yesterday lifting, and my muscles are very sore, though. If my body needs the extra water to repair those tears and build gorgeous, strong muscle, I guess I can wait another week to finally be in the 230s.
