Diana: Your night sounds amazing! I'm sure you had a wonderful time!!! No, I do a lot of dancing at home. I used to be a choreographer in another life and would like to have a group dance/fitness class one day so I'm always dancing and coming up with new steps.
I'm down .8 today to 196.2. that was nice. I'm sore all over today. LOL Legs are still sore from the gym and dancing last night and now my upperbody and abs are sore from raking yesterday. I love it! No formal exercise on tap for today. Lots of cleaning. Possibly an incline walk later on. I have cleaning, laundry, and homework to do.
Church luncheon today. I ate light on breaky today. 350 cals. Nothing more until lunch. I'll be looking for the healthiest stuff I can find.
Diana your evening (and shopping trip) both sound fabulous. Happy belated Anniversary! Glad you had a wonderful time. How many years has it been - have you already mentioned this?
I finally changed the batteries in my scale, so we'll see how it goes before I invest in a new one. WI at 197.6 this morning.
I wanted to mention my new discovery. I am always the last person to find out about things. I wanted to share, just in case someone else hasn't heard of this. A check-in buddy on an exercise forum posted about her lunch one day last week. She had cottage cheese on cinnamon raisin toast. She said that she loves cheese danish and this takes the place for her. The funny thing is that I had thought about having something similar but thought it might not taste right. I decided to give it a try after talking with her. I bought some bagel thins since it's a lower calorie option when you compare 2 pieces of toast vs. the 2 halves of bagel thins. I toasted the bagel thins and then topped each half with 1/4 cup of No Added Salt cottage cheese. It was so good. Like I said, I am the last one to hear about this stuff. I would have been enjoying this all along if I had known about it. I had another idea that I might try. It seems like vanilla Greek yogurt would be closer taste to a cheese danish. Anyone ever eat anything like this?

I had frat. inits. last night, so i was hesistant about weighing because I woke up at 4:00 PM and its not my usual weighing time. BUT, I saw an awesome number, so YAY! Hopefully it sticks (but not for too long lol)
Diana Congrats on 23 years! That's something to be proud of! Also, where do you find bagel thins!? I love bagels, but I stray away from them because of the calories. A low calorie bagel (plus cottage cheese, YUM) count me in!
Vixsin Congrats on the .8! I know when I do house work I work up a sweat, so son't count that out as exercise! lol
Gale02 oooh! Baby! Congrats! You must be so excited!
Angie You had fast food AND stayed w/in calorie range! Maybe it needs improvement, but still that's not easy! Good job!

Amber Thank you! It looks like you are having a great month! Here are some options for Bagel Thins:
Diana: OMG to the bagel thins and cottage cheese!!
Church lunch went great. Not the healthiest food I've ever seen, but it was catered and it was free. Meatloaf with brown gravy. mashed red potatoes, baby carrots cooked in an oil or something and apple crisp for dessert. I had the meatloaf and a very small portion of taters, a large serving of carrots and 1 small scoop of apple crisp. I gave myself 450 for it all. I wasn't full at all but I did just fine. I kept busy on my feet all afternoon between house cleaning, laundry and Maxwell.
Can't wait to go back to the gym tomorrow after work!
I'm still holding on to this cold, can't seem to kick it. I have spent a few hours each night on the sofa because I don't want to keep my husband up all night. He actually said today that he was tired because someone coughs all night, so I told him I'd just make my bed down here tonight, of course he said I didn't have to, but I can nap after the kids go to school. So I'll let him rest.
Vixsin congrats on your mid-term :hugh: Good job on the .8 down yesterday Glad the church luncheon went well for you
Diana glad you found an outfit you love for the holidays and I am happy for you that your husband loves it. You two are such a romantic couple All updates are interesting to me on the computer you never know what to expect glad yours is done and went smoothly Diana Happy belated Anniversary to you and your DH, what a romantic evening, you two are the cutest Your Anniversary was so worth that .8 Diana glad you enjoy your new bagel/cottage cheese discovery
Amanda great job with C25K good job on the .5 down on Saturday Good job on the pound down, ONEderland here you come
Angie good job on the .2 yesterday That is so cute your Little Man taking care of his #1 Lady I was down a pound yesterday, but picked up .6 of it today weighing in at 179.2 so back to good eating tomorrow. This weekend was full of crafts. I am supposed to take over as Crafting Coordinator next year instead of just assisting. We had a ton of crafts that need to be done by next Tuesday and not as many volunteers as the previous years so this is fun
Gale that's cute your Little Gummy Bear, please do stick around, we'll miss you if you leave, so STAY
Kukkie, hope the new batteries bring some great numbers your way
Back after a long weekend away. Missed you guys. Friday I ran 9 miles before me, my dad and my son left for Louisiana for the cross country meet. Was off plan for most of the weekend. Had mexican Friday night, Wendy's Saturday at lunch, then had our Thanksgiving meal at church yesterday. I ate good, but broke down and some chocolate trifold and some white chocolate bread pudding (just not much of it). So I am good with a .4 pound loss for the weekend, considering I have not exercised since Friday.
Today, back to the track for 3 miles. I am gonna try to get n a long run tomorrow, before I start smoking turkeys.
It is official now, I am gonna run my first half marathon on Dec. 10!
