I have this book on order at my local library and am glad to hear some good reviews/results. I cant wait to get it, but I think I am something like #20 on the list. I would buy it, but have bought so many diet/weight loss books & then didnt follow them that I am leery of wasting more money. I will check out the facebook link, thanks for the info!

i used to be down 12lbs, went on vacation, took a hiatus from the diet, now im only down 10 haha.

so, now im back to it! i think ill revert back to d10c1 since my vacation time def cannot be considered 'dieting';
but yes, still down 10 pounds!!!

I'm into C3 today. Down 19.5 lbs overall (12 C1, 7.5 lb C2). I've been taking pics of myself in my bra and underwear :O and I really don't see the difference. Then again, I'm used to seeing myself all the time, and I'm too chicken to show anyone those pics right now haha. Today I made a discovery while lying on my side doing Pilates... Hip bone! DH said my butt is changing shape rotfl.

24 lbs from onederland!

Julie doing very good, keep it up. Generally hubbies are the last ones to notice changes as they see you every day. If you meet a friend or a relative after long time, you will receive complements.
Sarasynthesis, i am proud of you, you did not give it up.
I am on c3d14 my waist and hips have reduced. I am going to start c1 again on Sept, 30. 2 days early. I m going on vacation on Oct 8. I want to be on c2
And c3 during vacation. That gives me 2 more reps of c1.

Julie 19.5 is awesome! And so is 12 Sara, (or even 10 post vacation.) Are you all sticking with the program to the letter? I don't seem to be able to do that yet. Every day I get off track with something! yesterday it was wine with the girls. There will always be something I'm sure. I'm just not going to obsess about it and going for 'progress not perfection'. I ate perfectly for the whole day so I'm getting there!
Anyway, lo and behold-- weighed myself this morning and I'm down a good 5 lbs since Sunday!!! I'm starting to feel like I'm lightening up a bit too. Just a little quicker going up and down the stairs and generally moving through the day with a bit more of a spring in my step. I'm not measuring inches or anything - I know how my clothes fit. (or don't fit! LOL)
Thanks everyone for sharing your progress. It really helps to hear of everyone's successes!

I've only been at it for 3 days and so far I'm down 1.6 pounds and I haven't been following it as strictly as I should be. (I got sick literally the day I started with bronchitis and a bad sinus infection)

I have been reading all the posts, I brought the book and was wondering if anyone was strength training while following diet or was it only cardio?

Starting back on C1R2 Monday. Going to make the chicken veggie soup tomorrow to get ready for the week. I fell off in June and am now just getting back. I'll sure be glad. Got my lemons, apples and stuff for the diet. Wish me luck......

I"m going to start this today, I got the book yesterday. Toni48, it looks like you have been doing well and I looked through all (well most) of the posts and you have been here quite consistently. I am sure all the people in this thread appreciate all your encouragement. I wonder what happened to FitSarah. pvgal was here quite alot too. Hopefully I will be as consistent as you!

I am doing strength training some days (mondays and wednesdays, then pilates tues and thurs), along with aerobics classes M, W, F. I didn't have issues with lack of energy in any of the cycles while doing so.
