Hi puneri; I got off the 17 DD in June and have had a hard time getting back on. C3 was hard for me to handle. I'm finally back on C1D3R2. So far so good. Have the chicken veggie soup made and the taco salad. Trying to keep lots of legal things to eat around. You're doing great. Keep up the good work.

Today i weighed 165.8lb. Felt better to see165. But i know it keeps flutuating.
But, i am doing all right things. Do you weigh yourself daily?
No I just weigh once a week. I don't want to be disappointed if I'm not losing. I'll weigh next Wed. even though I started Monday I like to weigh on Wed. How bout you?

I just joined the site and am also doing 17dd. I'm on cycle 2 day 10. Now that I'm into a routine, it's going better good. I did get stuck at 9 lbs for almost 2 weeks. I was very, very frustrating! Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Hi! I've been lurking in this thread a while, but haven't yet committed to buying the book. I posted another thread about whether this diet is similar to Tosca Reno's Cooler Plans, but nobody seemed to know. Thought maybe someone here would know?
Here's her Cooler 1 Plan:
Eat 5-6 small meals per day. Don't eat past 6 o'clock. Meals should be spaced out every 2-3 hours. Here are approved daily foods for Cooler 1:
- 1 apple or pear per day
- 5 servings of lean protein (chicken breast, turkey breast, egg whites, non-oily fish, etc.)
- 5 servings on-starchy raw/steamed veggies (greens, tomatoes, green beans, asparagus, cucumbers, broccoli, celery
- 1 yam or sweet potato
- 1 cup cooked oatmeal, brown rice, quinoa or millet
- Water
No juice, no condiments (except balsamic vinegar or lemon juice), no dairy, no bread
In Tosca's Cooler 2, you get to add in a few more whole grains (like a slice of whole grain toast and a whole grain wrap), plus some skim milk, more types of fruit (citrus and berries), unsalted nuts and some extra types of veggies (but still limited amounts of starchy ones like squash and carrots).
Does this sound similar to either Cycle 1 or Cycle 2 in the 17 day diet? I know he has other rules... like drinking green tea with every meal or starting the day with hot lemon water. But I was just wondering if they are similar at all.

Hello all! I just started this week but im having a rough time, im on day 4 and all im doing is craving different food!! is anyone just starting and need an accountable buddy system of some sort!??!

But I can sqeeze into some of my size 16 pants. They're not entirely comfortable (ok, not at all), but getting closer.
today was the end of D2C1 and I am dreaming about all the foods I can't eat. I'm a pescatarian (seafoods are ok) and I am finding that I am bored with the stuff I can eat. ahh, I hope I succeed with the first cycle.

I started exercising in Feb 11. My weight was 182.
The weight was not going down fast.
so I started this program on Jun12, 11. Starting weight was 177.8 lb
I currently on R2c1d3 and weigh about 165.8. First time in C1 I lost 4 lb.
C2 2, C3 2, R2cC1 2.8.
My goal is 150lb on 8th Oct...i am going on vacation then.
