Well today is day 2 of Cycle 1 and its going as planned! I have a busy week so I will check in for sure next Tuesday which will be one week into it to see where I am at.

Good evening. Getting ready to go cook But wanted to pop in and say I lost 2 lbs. this week. I'm so happy. Eating has been good.

Dream- I put some oil spray in a skillet and cook my fish on top of the stove for a very few minutes. I put cajun seasoning on it.

golden- Good going with a flatter stomach...

Mary- I don't follow the menu. If you do exactley as it is written you won't get enough calories and your body will go into starvation mode.

Joan- Good going on cycle 2.. Keep up the good work.

Well off to cook......

Mary- My goals are similar to you. I am on day 3 of cycle 1 and I am finding this to be pretty easy to follow but I am in the right frame of mind right now.
I want this so bad that I am able to stick with it. I am down 3.8 pounds in just my first 2 full days completed. Yes, I know its water but thats okay. I am working on shrinking this stomach of mine. I have the support! My husband decided not to follow the diet but thats okay, he eats whatever I have for supper and then snacks at night.

I just started cycle one yesterday. I've not been able to find answers to these questions in the book:

1. Can you drink coffee or diet soda?
2. Can you eat shrimp?

layne- Welcome to the board. You can have one to two cups of coffee. And shrimp isn't till C2 and C3.

Joan- Great going on the weight loss....

Mary- C2 is great. I loved having oatmeal for a change. How are you doing?

Went out this afternoon for lunch with my sister and a niece. Ordered a grilled chicken breast and then had one trip to the salad bar. Put lots of veggies on my salad. Loved the raw cauliflower and broccoli. Had the fat free ranch dressing. Tonight is chicken breast with broccoli. I know I eat so much chicken.

just a quick FYI facebook has a 17 day diet page...it's really good! Go to the discussions page and and you can read all kinds of questions and peoples answers.

I am doing very well on this diet. haven't been hungry at all. So glad you are all doing well too.

layne- I'm sure it won't hurt this one time. Just chicken, turkey, fish and eggs this round. But you'll have something to look forward to when you get to C2.

I am down 9 lbs since starting this diet about 8 days ago. I feel really good and I am not bloated anymore! The one thing I have noticed with this diet (TMI ALERT) is that I don't seem to be gassy at all. Good thing!

hi everyone. So I was reading online about this diet, and I was wondering how everyone has done on it, and is there any way that i can get the book without having to buy online.

Hi Lindsey,

17 Day is working for me. and I am soo happy! woo hoo. I am not getting on the scale again till next thurs. because if I am stalling I do not want to be discouraged. I am on day 10 and I have lost 9 lbs already! woo hoo!

I bought my book at Walmart, but I just saw it at BJ's too.

You will love this diet. Good luck and keep us updated on how you are doing.
