Hello all, well this morning WI I was up 1lb but I am confident it is water retention. When I think of yesterdays foods I forgot to log some nuts and then last evening I had some porkrinds. So I really feel ok about it. Today has been a good eating day for me. Mostly green veggies....stir fry (that I made) for lunch and dinner was a taco salad no chips. I have been drinking water like crazy so many many trips up and down

Emily great job offer
msgooch wow good job

weekend always a pleasure to see your posts

pang you are so meticulous and for me that is awesomeness

To the rest of you and a wave will check in tomorrow

Nancy I didn't start that way.
But I just keep on.

Keep reading when at librarys , keep listening to peers.
Keep journaling. Keep adjusting.

I've even got it set up to view all my favorite grocery ads near me.
Spinach, lemon, and berries. Fish and sirloin.
I like these fresh, so I keep my eye on the ads.
Smart phone makes it easy.

As time marches on. I get better at making it taste great, but also am starting to prefer the health food .
Never though I would eat 4 broccoli heads a week.

Broccoli, carrots, onion, tomatoes.
Never in a million years would think I would get that stuff and skip the soda, cereal, and snack aisle. I may have gone a few years never going in the produce area at all. Now is only reason I go in .

To break the habit buying habits , I needed to have a delivery person. But now that I'm not easily tempted buy junk food sales.
I'm In I'm out I'm happy.

I'm on my small belt now. . And I can feel the muscles under my belly fat again . I know I know. Ewweew. But that's when I recognize Im On my down . And the social effect of being a little thinner is motivating also. Another reason to keep on .

Good Morning, Everyone! TGIF!

Still no weigh in for me. I can tell that the fluid retention has increased even from my day of off plan eating. All of my clothes are tight and my feet are very swollen. I think the angioedema has reared it ugly head. I still have some PMS symptoms (TMI: breast tenderness ) but TTOM hasn't started. Hopefully it will calm down soon since I am pretty miserable.

Last night I added on: Tamilee Webb's Total Body Stretch (standing)
Nothing for this morning since it's my early day

Calories for yesterday: 1490 +
NWI

Have a great day and start to your weekend!

Good morning!

I ate well yesterday, burned 540 calories on the treadmill - but I did go out for thai last night. Which meant that today - you guessed it - up .6 I know it's just the salt so I'm not freaked out, but considering how much work goes into losing .6 - seeing it pop up like that overnight always stinks. And it will probably take me a few days to get rid of it.

I'm just excited to be there already. I try and read a lot about maintenance because I have a feeling that will be the challenge. I know how to lose weight, I don't know how to keep it off.

Diana I am sorry to hear that! Feel better

Teri I was thinking of you and it's so nice you popped in but I am so sorry to hear of your injury, ugg! I was in a lot of pain when I had mine, Teri how did you injure it? I always read the posts, I must of missed something. Anyhow, if you don't feel like typing I totally understand, I just wanted to give you a and wish you a speedy recovery. Feel better. Maybe relax with some of your books, etc.

msgooch That is a great calorie burn on the treadmill! I bet it's just the sodium too, you will get it off..hang in there. Maybe plenty of water will help flush out that retention too!

Emily have a wonderful time at the winter jam tonight and Happy Weekend to you too!

sychgirl hope you had a good nights sleep last night and wake up to a great new day, that goes out to all!

pang wtg on seeing your progress and the motivation!

Calories: 1250
Exercise: 20 minutes stationary; Walk away the pounds

Weight was good this morning. Still 3.8 away from meeting my monthly goal with only 7 days left so I'm really doubting I'm going to meet that goal but we will see. Regardless it's going to be a close call! I hope everyone is having a great Friday! TGIF!!

Teri good to see your posts again.
Be keen on your protein grams.

Not saying this applies to you. And your situation.

Excess Fat is typically stored under the skin.
Excess Protein is stored in the joints.
When we're dieting. It can be an issue if we're not maintaining protein stores. The joints ache , this can cause us to either exercise incorrectly or not at all.
Pain is most common reason to stop exercise routine.

I started out on my journey unable to walk, due to a car accident.
I could feel the sedentary issues become prevalent.
I became inspired to do the doable.

I learned much about food intake being more of influence than exercise. And I was off and walking in rehabilitation , but my diet became front and center. And that's where the majority of my calories are. But. Then. Protein needs to be geared for exercises if your exercising.
To keep it simple. I count my grams . And use protein shakes to tweak, because many brands Include other ingredients for muscle recovery chemistry in their formulas. Like milk muscle. I keep my focus on my protein more than carbs, and fats.

Hello everybody!

I'm starting over! I'm so grateful that the days are now getting longer and there is more light. I have a hard time coping with the short dark days. I'm inspired by the daylight and I have a renewed interest in my health.

My goals for March and April are:
1) walk every day
2) eat more veggies, less bread
3) get more sleep!
4) post on 3FC as much as possible.

Hi Diana! So glad to see you here! You are a rock!

Good morning!

I'm back down to 192.4 today after my pop up from eating out the other night.

I've never really run in my life, and I'm starting to on the treadmill now. I do either intervals or like yesterday I ran for 7 minutes, walked ran for 5 minutes - out of the hour. Yowza, I was tired after and a few hours later took a nap!

Hi Magistra17 - welcome! We're about the same stats, same height, same goal.

I stepped on a piece of glass this morning in the kitchen. I think it's out now, I'm afraid to step on it. I soaked it in epsom salt and have neosporin and a bandaid on it now. We're supposed to go on a hike this morning, the weather is beautiful, so fingers crossed that bugger is out and my foot is fine.

magistra I relish the longer days as well!

A big hello to all of you, just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a great weekend and new day.

Things are going well here, I have been very busy and active...I got over 15k steps yesterday (I was exhausted after) and 14k day before. The fitbit has really helped to motivate me too, I like seeing what I am doing and challenge myself. I am going over for a visit to my parents today and most likely will take a rest day, or so I think now! lol

oh msgooch ouch! gosh, glad your ok and got it out. Enjoy that hike and beautiful weather, that sounds lovely. Congrats on the workouts and drop

Pang after my injury and being laid up so long I had lost all muscle, particularly in one leg, the protein has been amazing for me and the exercise too! I actually helped DH lift and move some rather large kitchen tables the other night.........something I could of NEVER done a few months ago. I am gald your better too! When I was laid up, I said I cant wait to walk again, I just want to walk! Makes us appreciate things all the more.

Nichols I am 2.8 away, I don't know either but we still have a whole week so who knows what can happen, maybe one of those whooshes! lol I will just do my best and where it lands it lands. Glad your feeling better, have a great weekend.

Diana and Sychgirl Hi ladies, wishing you a great day and weekend as well. sychgirl, you keep that up and I will be crashing your house

A big hello to all of you, have a great weekend everyone
