Welll this weekend turned out to be not so good. yeah I got my workouts in, but I ate like crap. It's been a cross between high stress and PMS. I am up 1.5 lbs, but I could also be bloating due to TTOM which is due in 1-2 days.
Plus, today is going to be rough, I couldn't fall asleep last night (I tried drinking Chamomile tea) so I am running on about 3 hours of sleep.

When you are running on such little sleep, is it healthy to still get your workout in? or would it be best if I just take it easy and get a good night's rest?

Breakfast: coffee & protein bar

Good Morning, Everyone!

Emily I would try for a combo. Maybe a short gentle workout, like some extra walking. But keep it short so you can go to bed at the appropriate time.

Last night I added on: Tamilee Webb's Total Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise in the Office 2

The angioedema has flared up a bit more.

Calories for yesterday: 1255 +
Weigh In: 174
Down: .2

Have a great day and start to your week!

Pang - yahoo! Yay for the weight loss!

Emily - one thing I really notice is that a restful, good night sleep is imperative to lose weight. I'm sure you'll probably crash for a nap sometime today. I know I couldn't function on 3 hours. If you did anything it would just be a slower walk.

I have company here - one is also doing south beach so she was happy to come eat with us. We're way stricter than her though. We went for a long walk yesterday, up and down hills, through woods, by the beach. Today I'm playing tour guide and walking around the tidal basin to see the cherry blossom.

I lost another pound today. It's interesting how I'll hang onto weight for a week or so then over a few days lose it at once. I was worried about losing too fast, but it does average out.

TWI: 142.6
Calories: 1250
Exercise: 30 minutes stationary; Maybe a walk

Spring sports begin today...so I will be trying to check in when I can.
I hope everyone is doing great. My weight went down to 141 over the weekend but back up to 142 this morning.
I'm sure it has something to do with TOM being tomorrow or Wednesday but oh well atleast it's going down.
The weekend flew by (as usual) so it's back at it at work.
My 3rd kid got sick Saturday night into Sunday but is better now..I am praying she didn't pass it to me or her daddy..
I can not stand having belly issues!
But hopefully that is it for sickness for the kids for awhile they have had sore throats...flu...stomach bugs..headaches...that covers it all right? lol

Everyone have a great Monday!

Well, the weekends have been crap for me lately! I don't know what it is, but Friday rolls around and I think "Free for all until Monday!" It's really messing with my head and I have to get out of this! I hope you're all having a great Monday and happy first day of spring!

Hi everyone Happy spring and hope you all had a great weekend!

Thanks for the congrats and encouragement I hope that you are all well . It was a busy weekend here, all is well. I am looking forward to our new week and day now, 12 days to go! I need to get my tail moving and get some exercise in. It is mild and sunny today for a nice change!

Congrats as well to all of you! You all inspire me and we hang in there through everything which is great!

msgooch It can be maintained, I agree with what Nancy said and Diana as well, it's a lifestyle change. Congrats on the loss!

Diana " I have also seen people post, about me, about my comment about it being a job every day that I have to think about this and work at it. They said that they didn't want their life to be like that. But, it's what I have to do. " Ha! lol hey whatever works for us and however it works is what is important and I would think that that also becomes a habit and a way of life for you, just like sipping tea or whatever. I would be so proud, you have accomplished so much and also are a wonderful inspiration to us all. You know what your doing, that's all that matters. Keep kicking butt Diana!

I have to run but hope to be back soon and catch up with all of you. Nancy thanks girl! Wishing us all a good day, keep up the great work.

Good evening all
Well WI I was down just a bit but this plateau is far from over

Today work was a beast which makes me more and more convinced I need a change. I took Friday off and I have spent all day today undoing what the owner of the company did. I guess I am frustrated. Don't get me wrong I have learned a lot since starting there 3 years ago but sometimes things just go to far. sorry rant over.

Oh I discovered oopsie/cloud bread this weekend (I do low carb) and made the most wonderful pizza with it. I was in true heaven for me to be able to eat 1/2 a pizza and this is full sized for 7 carbs is amazing. I plugged all the ingredients into a nutrition calculator on my fitness pal and poof

I also tried zooles last night and made a great chicken stir fry I think I need to venture out more on my food choices

Good morning all.

TTOM is almost here, and with a vengeance

Anyway, I did end up working out yesterday and forced myself to NOT nap. I don't think I could give the workout my all, but I did it. I am tired of not getting enough sleep, so that is going to be what I will work on in the next few weeks - getting as close to 8 hours of sleep as I can.

Good morning!

Yesterday was my weirdest eating day so far. I went to a restaurant for lunch known for it's popovers - I ate one. I never eat bread at the table, but these are amazing. Then when I got home my cousin had brought these fresh mozzarella and various cheeses from an italian cheese shop so what started as a little appetizer, then became dinner instead. I literally ate cheese and a glass of wine for dinner - lol. I had no idea how to judge how many calories I ate, so this morning was anybody's guess - I went down .2

This morning I went to have my usual steel cut oatmeal only to discover there wasn't enough left.

Today is my more intense work out day - interval training. I run for 2 minutes, walk for 4 for an hour.
