Ellie, that is moderation right? One a day would be pushing it, but splitting it over two shows real dedication to camp moderation!

Yep, apart from the cake yesterday morning, I was well on plan, and today saw an immense number on the scale, can't even believe it'll still be there at the weekend, but if it is, i'll start to believe the 'whooosh' phenomenon that has always left me pretty sceptical until now.

Today is a little crazy, got spinning and Body Pump. Seemed like a good idea when I booked last week, but now I'm not so sure!!! Exercise so does not come naturally to me, and when I started out on a proper mission 3 months ago I was never going to be one of those people who did more than a class a day, they were mad..... seems like I'm on the slippery slope to madness then!

Aseret - good luck with the new diet, no chocolate, I feel for you!

Beki - don't let it worry you, just jump right back on, we're all in it for the longhaul, and as long as you keep plugging away, you'll get there

PaintedButterfly - I love those changing numbers! I'm so close to getting out of another stone bracket, and I simply cannot wait!!!! Yep, go ahead and incorporate those treats, we've got to make this realistic!

Have a fab day everyone

Glad you've joined us Lozz!

OK, so today I had a wobble, and felt like throwing in the towel and eating EVERYTHING! But, I made myself think why I was doing this, and look at how far I've come, and I used pictures to remind me. I hope you don't mind, but I want to share. I'm not at goal yet, but the progress I've made is enough to keep me going!

Hope everyone else has had a good day.

I'm about to put my feet up with a pint (of water!), 2 squares of dark choc and some crap tele. I can sure feel the double workout today, the extra weights in pump are making me burn, but I love it!

I can't get to the file, (me net book is v.stroppy) but we all have crappy days TC.

Made a point of walking the dog all the way round the playing field opposite my house today. Walked at a good pace, but i think it was too quick for the dog. He's lying on the floor spread eagle and staring at me lol.

That's gonna be a regular thing every night and my workout in the mornings.

I don't have any full body pics of me at the moment, but thinking about taking a pic every week/month (i don't know if every week is really any use to begin with?) to see the changes and like you give me something to look back on for inspiration on those tough days. I do love that idea.

Anyway, be good lol I'm jumping in the bath and hopefully get a decent nights sleep...
wish me luck

Thanks hopefulchick I carry my weight in my legs and backside now, as much as I love my new waist, I'd quite like it to stop shrinking around now and the fat to melt from my legs!! Even flabby arms are going down before the legs, it's strange how it works!

Lozz, it sounds like you're doing great with your exercise, bless your dog! I know I'm pushing myself too hard this week with exercise, and that's probably why I wobbled. But, I really want to know how much I can manage, and I really need to get over some psychological hurdles. No pain no gain. I need to start believing it!

The pics are a great idea, I'd definitely go with every month not week. I really hope you get a good sleep I'm off to bed early tonight too, got a 6.15 jogging alarm in the morning, booo!

I didn't sleep well at all. 4.30am by the time I dropped off. I've figured out what it is though... our bed is so old and horrible, I can't get comfy. So flipped the mattress for tonight and the man thing is investing in a new bed next week. WOO!!

Oh TC!! my net book decided to show me the pics you posted. You look
A-MAZ-ING!!

I ment to ask earlier, but how long ago did you change your lifestyle? I've set my self a target of xmas 2014 to get to my target weight. is that realistic?

Talking about moderation! Hubby and i shared an easter egg yesterday prob undone all the good i have done with walking with the buggy! hey ho! wished I liked red wine-i like Bailey ( yep i dread how many cals!) I haven't had a drink since my wedding day last may cause of the pregnancy- but we have a bottle of Baileys sitting in the cupboard that hubby got for me as a valentines day present. But with little one i dare not drink, plus with the tablets I am on don't think it would be a good idea!

Aseret Thank you

Lozz YAY! to the new bed!!! I really hope that it helps you sleep, and the mattress being turned will hopefully help to in the meantime

Topsy Grrrrr to laptop issues! Don't wotty about the Easter egg, it won't hurt in the long run I'm glad I don't like Baileys! Took me ages to get off my love of pints, but I very rarely drink them now, my new tipple is flaboured vodka and soda, yum yum!

I started properly in Jan 2011, and really restricted what I ate until mid-April when I moved back home to The UK and didn't want to be huge when I got home. Previous to that I'd played around with the idea for a couple of months but didn't really get on it. Then from April I vaguely tried to keep on it when home, but I wanted to eat everything that I hadn't had for so long, socialise with all of my mates and family and just basically let my hair down. I did eat better than I had previously in general, but not always by much!

I then worked on a residential project over the summer, where you got fed, and I ate TERRIBLY! From Sept to Dec I vaguely got back on plan, but had many slip ups!

Then, from this January I got right back on it, and this time also added exercise, and I've lost just shy of 2 stone in that time, and I genuinely feel that this time I'm changed. I'm not dieting, I'm reeducating myself and completely changing my relationship with food. I'm not totally there yet, but slowly, bit by bit I am certainly more in control!

I don't see why your target isn't realistic, but make sure that if you haven't got there by then you don't give in. Keep plugging away. WHen you get there isn't the important part, just getting there is

Topsy81, AWESOME!! where abouts are you? I'm fairly central to Norwich. would cool to meet up sometime!!

TC, I will never give in. and your're right in what you say. It's not a diet, it a lifestyle.

With the weight you said you're carrying on your legs etc, could it be water retention? I only ask as I know my body likes to soak it up and it goes pretty much everywhere!! I'm getting myself some water tablets whilst I'm shifting the bulk of this weight, then stop when I've lost a good %, hoping my body will know what to do with the extra water by then lol.

Thanks TC. Yup, jumped back on. And got an appointment for next week. Might weigh myself on my old scales just to get an idea. You look amazing in your pictures.

Topsy - Sharing an Easter egg is fine. Got to have those treats.

Lozz, I think the photo idea is brilliant. Once a month is good, but i bet you would see changes once a week. You should definately do it though.

Well, yesterday I was diagnosed with PCOS which is a bit of a pain but does explain a few things, such as why losing weight is so hard for me. I start medication tomorrow. I've been given Metformin and been put on the Pill to help. Apparently, Metformin can knock your stomach off and I didn't want to deal with that at work, so will start tomorrow. Also tomorrow, I intend on tidying my bedroom and taking my dog for a walk as well as running around like a loony trying to sort out stuff.

TC - WOW!! What a difference - fantastic work, girl! *YAY* I love looking at before and after pics as I find them so inspiring. You should be very proud of what you've achieved especially with all that exercise. That is a major downfall for me.

Lozz - I think that's a reasonable target too, but agree that it should be treated as a lifestyle change and if you don't make target then just keep going. I've noticed that this time I didn't set any targets and just went for it and here I am...almost there. Every other time I failed because I set targets and got disheartened when I missed them because life got in the way. I think the photos are a good idea - but do monthly because if you do weekly and don't see a change, you may get frustrated.

Have a good weekend everyone. x
