Just wanted to check in quickly, we are leaving for the track in a couple hours. Sure hope I win a little money. It is going to be a long and busy weekend. The weather is looking horrible for Derby Day. What can you do. I am off tomorrow so I will try to check in on Sunday. Have a great rest of the week and weekend.

Default Good morning

I've been up a bit but I'm not moving yet. Coffee just finished brewing. Thinking of sitting on the porch and enjoying it while I watch all all the critters start there day. There are a couple of mocking birds that are quite the pair as they chase each other. The humming birds are coming around more and more also.

Yesterday was a pretty good eating day. Lunch was a little heavy in calories but good calories. I had a large portion of guacamole with my burrito. At dinner last night I passed on the chicken. I had a few bites of it and that was enough. I added cauliflower to the mashed potatoes to cut down on the calories.

Solly...hope you have a fantastic time at the Derby and that you win. Praying the weather won't be too poor.

Ellen..awesome on losing two pounds. Your sugar numbers will start to come down soon.

Toni...hope you are having a great day. Are you able to get out on that deck yet?

Mercee..you out there enjoying that trail?

Time to get a cup of that coffee.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Afternoon Buster Buddies. Getting around late today. I stayed up last night till about 3 this morning. So I slept in. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, 1/2 piece toast and some peach mango juice. We're having a break in the weather today so its warm and breezy here.

Solly- I'm sending you a warm day. Hope it helps with the Derby stuff.

Mercee- Loving my new deck. We're using it everyday.

Ellen- I love you're working in the clay again. Sounds like the old you. I'm sitting here having some good Constant Comment tea in the cup you gave me.

Crystle- Sitting here in my chair with a cup of tea and watching the hummingbirds out the window. Hope you're doing good.

Guess I need to get dressed and make a run into town. Have a great day...

Default Good afternoon

Howdy ya'll. How is your day going so far. Here, so far so good. Kinda being lazy with the cloudy weather. I did do my counter push-ups. I've pulled a muscle that I call my chicken wing..the one between the arm pit and chest. Talk about hurt...oh man. But only while I'm doing the push-ups. I tried a couple of real ones but it way to sore for that. Not sure if I'm gonna try to walk later.

((Everybody))

Toni...aren't they just the greatest? I love my hummers.

Mercee...I never made it outside but did have a super day with my precious grand son and daughter. She made her first loaf of friendship bread and I did eat a piece and a half. I'm weak.

Ellen...I love all the recipes you are sharing at facebook. I'm really hoping to try some soon.

Solly...hope you are having a lovely weekend despite the weather.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Been kind of busy today. Just had a smoothie and will have to go make some spraggetti soon. Since I didn't get it made yesterday.

Crystle- Sorry you hurt your muscle. I need to do those counter push ups.

Have a nice Friday evening everyone.

Hopping on to say hello! I had Kaeleb today. I went to a Pampered Chef party...of course there was nothing there I could eat, which was probably good. I ordered two kitchen gadgets. I LOVE kitchen gadgets.

Tonight, I made tacos. The filling for mine was made with garbanzo beans and avocado. Sounds weird, but it was actually pretty good!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi Ladies. We had a heck of a storm last night and are expecting more today and tonight. Hope its not ruining Solly's Derby Day. I'm watching my hummers out the window. I've only got a couple but hopefully more will come. I got lots of herbs to plant and stuff but this wet weather is stopping me. Wish I had more of a garden. Guess I'll take out fish for tonight. Maybe tomorrow we can barbecue.

Ellen-I love to hear about your food. You make me want to try different things. I love pampered chef's stuff. I'm a gadget person too.

Hope everyone else is doing fine. Hi Solly, Chystal and Mercee!

Its hot and humid. Tom tried to talk me into going for a walk, but I resisted. I should have, but I was just hot, tired and feeling very lazy. I made sambar and idlies again today. The idlies turned out better this time. It really was a tasty dinner!

The big news is that I am actually firing the kiln! First time in over a year!

We need to head out to church, but I wanted to stop by and say hello!

Monday already. Hope everyone is back into the swing of things today.
Weekend was fun, but exhausting. I did not have any winners. My DD did but that was it. Still the company was good, the food was good, and that is important.

It rained all day yesterday and most of Saturday. After dinner it broke a bit and I took the dog for a walk. I got a block away from home and it started raining again. Today is nice and it should be nice for the next 4 days. I had the baby Friday night so that made my weekend. I think I have him one night for the next 2 weekends. I love it.

Ellen, I love PC. Their stuff is such good quality. I think my DD has every thing they make. Dosen't use half of it. Glad to you are firing up the kiln again. I still have my pot you made me right in the kitchen. I think of you all the time.

Toni, I can't believe you didn't have rain yesterday. Glad you are enjoying your deck.

Crystle, hope your pulled muscle is better. That muscle always gets sore when I go to the gym and it hurts when you try to use it.

Mercee, You are going to walk around the world soon. You do such a great job. I hope to start again tonight walking.

Off to get some work going here. I brought my gym clothes and I hope to get to the gym tonight. Have a great day.

Default Good morning

Just finished a fried egg sandwich, delicious. A nice reward for a great walk this morning. Jess and I put in two really hard miles. And before that I had already done 20 of my counter push-ups. I tried some real ones but still not there yet.

This weekend was a bust when it came to eating but the scales were kind to me this morning. Still holding steady.

Solly...sorry you didn't win big but glad you had a super time. How old is your precious grand baby now?

Ellen...awesome on firing up the kiln. There is nothing like going back to something you really love. A couple of weeks ago I went back to shooting my bow and it is so rewarding.

Toni..so glad you had great weather yesterday. We were suppose to get rain but didn't. My garden really needs it. We got a ton in the winter but not a lot so far this spring. Not good with summer coming up.

Mercee..hope you had a lovely weekend.

((Everybody))

Love and hugs,
Crystle
