I weighed in - holding steady at 154 - unfortunately this is my new set point. I think I'll be more motivated to stay on track now that I'm posting here.
Jude - thanks for the welcome and bon voyage!! Sounds great!

Good Job Renee!
A Pound is A Pound!
I just started being serious on Tuesday and wasn't going to weigh in, but I did....and lost 2 pounds too! I'm sure it's just that initial water loss, but it sure looks good on my scale
Hubby and I have been meal planning and shopping plus logging in everything that passes our lips, so I think I'm on the right track for losing 10-15 before we head to FL for the winter
Congrats to All Y'all who had the guts to step on he scale today!!!! Let's make it a great new week!
Renee and Lizzy - good for you - any loss is a loss and sometimes it's more and sometimes less, but let's take it any way we can
Jill - I am in the same place as you - I had gone on a holiday, gained 7, then lost 3 right away at the beginning of the week, but can't seem to lose that last 4 and get on from there.
We have to just stay on track and know that it will eventually start moving in the right direction
So, I have updated my weight to continue from where I am today - I was so tempted to just leave it until I got back down the 4 lbs., but accountability is a great motivator.
Sorry I have been away with work lately. My weigh-in kept me the same this week. Sounds like you all are doing fantanstic with your weight loss no matter how little it may be. Renee-even a little bit is still a success. Keep up all the good work.
I was having munchie cravings on the way home tonight. I wanted to go to the store and get some cookies. I kept going back and forth about it, but managed not to go to the store, and not eat anything further at home. Some days are easy, and some days are just plain rough. One day at a time.

Helloooo!
Still logging, so staying on track. When I stop food journaling is when I fall off the wagon. Been using MyFitnessPal app.....but not too happy with it because I'd like it to be able to save my recipes with ingredients for future reference and/or to share. Anybody using a food journaling program that will do this???
It's not quite a food journaling site but you can keep your own cookbooks/recipes and share them as well at Food.com. It's free. I'm a member but really just keep a private cookbook. It's pretty convenient and I love the site in general. Allrecipes.com may have something similar. On Fitday you can make your menus public - not sure how it would work with recipes.
Is it okay to posts links on this site? I don't want to get booted off
Hi Crimzon, posting links is fine with me for our blog, but I don't know the rules for the overall site for 3 Fat Chicks.
I think it would be fun to share recipes
I use to keep a journal for my daily food eaten and exercise. I did it for a few months but then I got too busy to keep it up and it became a burden to me, so I stopped. It did help me at first to identify my eating patterns and choices, and stress eating.
Tonight I had cauliflower & peas in an Indian Curry Sauce, along with some veggie protein links. Dessert was a sliced banana with chunky peanut butter spread.
Hi Renee, I bet the food was yummy. Now you need to make sure you get lots of exercise to burn those extra calories off, and get your metabolism moving. If you ate it, you have to pay the price and do the work out too for the next few days.
I am doing okay. Each day is a struggle, but I was able to stay where I've been. Maybe next week the scale will budge finally and in the right direction.
I hope there are a few others out there who will see the efforts pay off this week.
Well - I stayed the same. Maybe I'll try some IF this week. I'm really not getting much "formal" exercise right now. I'm moving and kinda occupied with other things. It's still too hot here (SW) to be outside walking - still dodging from car to grocery store type of thing.
