Hey Jillie - Onward and "DOWNWARD". I like that - I may add that to my sig.

I haven't been logging. I'll have to check out MFP. Maybe it's easier than fitday. I'm just really bad at logging my food

Hi Lizzy! Hi Chickies!

Lizzie....if you have a smart phone, there's an app for MFP. Makes it super easy for logging. I sit down in the morning and kinda sorta decide what I'm gonna eat that day so I can see how many calories within my 1200 max I am. MFP has tons of foods within the app for easy search and logging.

DeeLou....what you're doing to lose is the best way for me too. Zero white stuff, especially for the first month or so. Then I treat myself with a few bad carbs. I do eat a lot of fruit and veggies....good carbs....but unfortunately, the good and bad are calculated into the same carb total :-(

When I crave sweets, I eat grapes. Always have them on hand. 10 grapes = 34 calories.

Corinna.....I bet you'll be rewarded with your next weigh-in. Hang On, Girl!!

Let's keep it going Skinny, Renee and Sweets!! I'm hoping to crack the 180 mark this week

Hugs!

Morning or evening - wherever you are! It's really early here. Touch of insomnia last night.

Renee - I agree, it's nice to hang out with such a positive group.

Corinna - hang in there. We all have fluctuations.

Jillie - I have a really old flip phone I need to get a new one. Maybe in a couple of months. I did check out MFP and it looks like a good site. I may join. It looks like your 1200 cal plan is working for you.

See you guys later..........

Scale is the same again today 3 days now...that's ok, at least it's not going up. We are having some gorgeous weather in Houston right now, gotta take it while it lasts. Hope to eat outside this evening. I'm enjoying sparkling water with a lime while my DH has his martini in the evening hope that's ok. I've never asked about sparkling water, but can't see anything in it that would be a problem We are leaving for Korea next week and I'm VERY NERVOUS about what I'll do over there. Being a newbie (only two weeks on IP) I sure don't want to gain it back. Eeeek... Will try to find information on traveling and IP. Hope everyone has a great day and stays OP.

Oh yes, I've started using the Fitness Pal app on my iPad and it seems pretty good to me. Have a little trouble with the amounts of some things, but at least it gives me a general idea of what I'm doing each day. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Helloooooo Chickies!

Lizzie....it's a little more cumbersome without a phone app, but when I was logging from my computer, I still sat down with MFP at the beginning of my day or the night before and planned what I was gonna eat within my 1200. I dunno know about you, but I'm a picker and I accumulate calories by having a little of this n that and before I know it I've blown my plan. Logging is the only way to keep me on track because I know I have to enter each mouthful.

Lucky me....Hubster found a crust-less zuchinni pie recipe on SkinnyTaste yesterday, sub'd blueberries for the zuchinni and surprised me with a simple, but delicious creation that tastes like a blueberry cobbler!! How'd I get so lucky to have had two husbands who love to cook???!!! My late husband loved to cook too! It certainly does help in my quest to look like I did on my 60th birthday.

Love sharing with y'all.....I think we make a Great Team!

Yes, it's exciting. Well she would probably have some wonderful ideas abt what to see! I'm just nervous about eating.

Down another pound after being stuck for 4 days. That feels great. Have pedi and hair appts today in prep for the trip so it's getting close. Hope everyone has a great day and stays OP.

Jill, you are a lucky lady...two loving husbands who cook! Doesn't get much better than that. I have a second husband as well. He's a widower, I'm divorced, and he's wonderful to me. We are having a great life, he said last night, "I hope we can grow old together",...I laughed and said "I think we're already old but getting older will be good." Your pie sounds great, those little sweet treats are sure good. I'll check out Skinny Taste, don't know about it.
