Hi Everyone!
My name is Christy, Im 25 years old I work as a CNA with people with developmental disabilities.
Ive struggled with my weight my whole life. At my highest I was 220 Pound as a sophomore in highschool, dropped down to 130 pounds in my junior year. I started gaining my weight back when I started dating my ex-boyfriend. With him it was nothing but laziness, unhealthy eating habits and a very unstable relationship (was depressed all the time). I jumped back up into the 190's
As of now I've been dating my current boyfriend for 4 years now. He's very encouraging, cheering me along the way. If I even so much as look at the cookies at the grocery store, he shuffles me away, lol. He's definitely the love of my life.
Back at the end of February I decided to join Planet Fitness. I absolutely love it. I go 5 days a week, 2 hours a day. Since then I've dropped over 25 lbs, and still going strong.

Hi, Plexi!

Congrats on the 25p! Stick around and help keep us motivated.

I have motivation but can't sustain without my work out buddies, the more the merrier.

I was on earlier, but didn't post cause I feel like I talk a lot already. That would have been the third post in a row just from me.

I do have good news. I won an item on doctoroz.com! I won a waterpik! I entered like 5 contests for some stuff I never would've bought on my own.

I ate like crap today. I have company so no exercise either.

Plexi, welcome to the thread! You seem super psyched about your goal. Losing 25lbs is quite a feat...congrats! What do you do at the gym?

Gabi, I'm super tired this week. It's a combination of sinus issue, loss of sleep and a bit of emotional turmoil from my nephew that is injured and in the hospital. I've been making bad food choices this week. Partly because I didn't plan like I did in the previous week.

I need to hear from you guys too. It's so not motivating to not see any posts. I didn't do my pump workout today so I must, must, must do it tomorrow. I think next week starts a new workout. See ya tomorrow morning...umm, ok I don't do mornings.lol Though I will do my workout before I leave the house tomorrow.

Hi everyone

Plexi- welcome! The more the merrier
gabi- MFP really have conflicting calorie counts! I don't check there anymore, usually I check a calorie count on livestrong.com
Philly- sorry to hear about your nephew, hope he gets better. Congrats on waterpik! I ate bad these couple days too

Haven't gone to gym in 3 days, because I don't have a baby sitter anymore ( won't be hiring one ever again!). So my hubby bought a treadmill and an adjustable set of dumbbells for me, but won't arrive till thursday! So I thought I'll make use of BR, tried workout 3 today and it's not so tough
After all the bad food choices I made (pizza, ice cream not the diet kind ) I am down 2 lbs. Wonder where Ak and exhale disappeared to

Hope everyone stays OP

Here I am Good morning

Had a good and busy week. Food-wise eh, I really have to just cut out the processed carbs! Saw an all-time low on the scale, and then it disappeared Should still count, though. I've decided to 'ticker' myself to a normal bmi. Otherwise, it's too much to think about.

I'm going to start keeping my lunch and dinner to clean protein and leafy greens/veggies and/or sweet potato. I still like my mini bagels in the morning, esp with my breakfast friends. But I can limit them to 2 x per week.

Exercise wise, I got in Zumba, pilates, and weights for an hour each.

Philly, sending good vibes to you and your nephew.
Angelsmom, congrats on the threadmill
Novangel, Hi !
eyre13, I hear you on the salad, but you have tons of different types of greens to choose from, and you can always make it heavy on the peppers, cucumbers, etc...Sometimes I just don't want cold food...
Plexi, welcome !

I'm going to get back to posting every day, including with the exercise any crap that I ate during the day. I don't know why an otherwise intelligent woman continues to eat crap! Success is right in front of me as long as I continue to maintain the positive changes I've made.....the scale is teasing me with it, and I see it in a smaller-looking body...

Have a good day all.

Well this week has just been dandy for everyone, including myself. Just when I thought the worst of the week was over I awake this morning with a terrible virus. I'm supposed to be at work but instead I'm laying in bed dying of nausea. I also have TOM (bonus right?) so exercise isn't happening any time soon...looks like food isn't either. The thought of food makes me want to throw up. Ugh.

Talk to you guys later.

Hello everyone!

Well I am bright eyed and bushy tailed at 11:30am. I LOVE just sleeping until my eyes pop open on the weekend. My brother is here and decided to spend the night. We didn't go to bed till 3am! LOL...we are both night creators and are not morning people. We ordered in last night and with the crap I ate during the day and again last night my body sent a clear message to cut it out. Like exhale, I don't know why an otherwise intelligent woman would put themselves through this...lol.

I said that I would exercise before I left, but its almost 1:30 now and I've got to get on the road. I am hoping that I will be back early and plan to do it then.

Wow, guys I am way more sick than I had initially thought. I can only drink water (thank goodness I can keep that down at least) it's going to be a few days before I can work out again for sure. I must've picked up the stomach flu somewhere but regardless I am miserable with a fever.

Please! Don't lose motivation I NEED you guys when I get back into action.

Surprisingly, I seem to have more motivation for exercise these days than eating well. Ugh I'm so sick of this....And the C#$% doesn't even taste good any more.......If I really pushed it, I could get to goal in 6 weeks . OMG how incredible will I feel to be no longer 'overweight'.

Oh pls. pls. keep after me about this....

Hey, how about we do a 6-week challenge - Novangel, you join us when you can, of course - anyone up for it?

Basically a 6-week push to get as clean and lean as possible by July 4th...using whatever schedule/method you want...

@PhillyGirl: I am so psyched, I can't wait to loose more so I can shop for some cute clothes
I tend to do the Arc Trainer cardio machine an hour a day on weight loss lvl 2 and if Im feeling really energetic (I work night shifts and tend to go after I get off) I'll throw 15-20 minutes of Hills on the Arc trainer on top of that. Also I do so weight/resistance training daily as well to help work off the flab

Feel better soon Novangel.

Now if you'll excuse me, Im going off to the land of bloat and cramps D:
