ak812, I tapped a couple of yoga workouts from shiva rea and a pilates class by tonya nettles. You missed my earlier post. Yes I like and tapped the 3 walk workouts by her. I have a dvd recorder with a hard drive. I love this thing. I have lots of stuff on the hard drive, but I can record to a dvd if I want. I think there are good options on-demand, but for a more serious cardio workout you have to look elsewhere.

novangle, yay for the loose clothes! I told ya even though the scale wasn't moving that other positive things are happening.

I feel a bit blah. I took a few days off from work, but I was determined to not sleep the day away. I got up later than I wanted, but I did get some laundry done. Today is a cardio day for me which will be done later.

Morning everyone Welcome sacha

Just checking in. Was feeling great yesterday after my back-to-back workouts - like I used to before I feel off the wagon. And the good thing is that I felt refreshed after the workouts, yet still got in enough to feel them the next day....so we're going in the right direction.

novangel, congrats on the swimming
philly, hope you're feeling better today...enjoy the sunshine

Everybody have a great day....

Hello, everyone! Glad to see you're all doing so well. The first half of this week has gone so slooooow. My co-teacher has been sick for the past 2 days so it's just me and the kiddos here at school. They're driving me a little nuts & I'm just counting down the days again until the weekend. Feel like I spend so much time looking forward to those precious weekends.

I've also felt a little discouraged weight-wise these past few days. I had been at 191.2 and for 3-4 days I've stayed completely stuck at 192.4. It's the tail end of TOM so that may account for it, but it's so close to over that I feel like it shouldn't make a difference. Just have to keep reminding myself that staying on plan, eating healthy and exercising is good for its own sake, even if the number on the scale is not necessarily budging right now. Hard not to get bummed though!

Will continue w/ personal responses during my break later - have to go rescue the teacher who's with the kids!

Angelsmom - Congrats to you on the lost pound! That's always a good feeling. Proud of you! You are so dedicated to the 30 DS, too. I love coming on here & seeing another day done for you. Keep up the hard work!

novangel - Good luck with the weigh-in and keep going - you're on a fantastic track.

PhillyGirl - Hope you have enjoyed the days off & good for you for being productive even on a day off. You've been quiet the past couple of days, hope everything is going well!

Exhale - How is WW treating you? So happy to hear you were feeling so great! Very good news.

sacha - Welcome to the thread! So glad to have you here. How are the workouts treating you? And congrats on baby #2!

Sorry for the posting spree, ladies, but I am having a HARD time with food today. I'm still under calorie goal but only have 341 left for dinner. Damn, working in a school is hard - always treats to be had! I had a cheddar cornbread muffin this morning and then 2 oatmeal cookies this afternoon which has really added on to the calorie count for today. Looks like it will be salad & baby carrots for dinner for me tonight! Hope everyone else is having better luck than I am today.

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good day. I was out all day yesterday with a friend....we must have put in a ton of miles during our day together and I slept like a rock last night and woke up happy

So, ak, about WW I really like the program, but the food monster has snuck up upon me I don't know what it is, so... I'm (1) switching over to their 'simply filling' method, where you track only foods that are not whole, natural foods. This will knock out the damaging bad stuff I've been sneaking in. (2) Getting on the scale every AM - this worked for my 1st 15 pounds, and (3) cut back on my lb. loss goal; the other number was too high and that messed with my head.

I am, again, totally optimistic that I am going to get this right and build on the habits that I need to get and stay healthy.

Thank's for asking

Have a good evening everybody

Hey ladies!
Glad to see lots of activity. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days off of work. Kinda wished I took the whole week. I made a yummy brewed iced tea from urbanetea. I also made bran muffins for the first time and they are very good. I tend to not like bran muffins because they are dense, but my version is quite good. I was supposed to do cardio today but was extremely tired and didn't feel like it. Not sure about why I was so tired. I'm in bed early so I can get a good nights sleep. I want to do a morning workout.

Have a great evening everybody!

AK, I screw up with food sometimes too, don't fret about it just get back on track tomorrow. It's hard not to feel guilt though, I totally understand.

TOM is almost over so I was back to level 2 again tonight. It's a doozy still..sweat pouring everywhere. I finally invested in a sports bra today and that's makes things a lot more comfortable.

See everyone tomorrow.
